He is passionate about both broadcast journalism and print journalism. </div> <bR> <div> In 1999, Gio got his first opportunity to work with one of South Florida's most prestigious television stations, <A HREF="http://www.nbc6.net" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.nbc6.net"><U>WTVJ-NBC 6</U></A>, as a Junior Broadcaster. As a WTVJ Junior Broadcaster, Gio has reported on issues which involve South Florida teens including a live teen forum during the WTVJ News shortly after the September 11 attacks. He has also helped out with activities sponsored by the NBC Station. He will continue to be a Junior Broadcaster until he finishes high school. </div> <bR> <div> For a year, Gio wrote a weekly feature called "The Monday Report" for iHigh.com, The High School Internet Network.
