TURF MOWER SPORTS RULES

CLUB, MEMBER & TRACK OWNER LIABILITIES:

This non-profit organization, Turf Mower Sports Racing Club and/or any of the affiliates, and/or owners of the location of the racing premises is NOT responsible for any expenses, which may be sustained from injury, damages, ect., while participating in the 2002 racing season. It is the understanding of all club members, volunteers, ect. that you, the club participant, is responsible for all injuries and/or damages sustained as a result in your participation of the activities associated with our club's racing events and activities. You as an affiliate of the Turf Mower Sports hereby relinquish all rights to claim and agree to hold harmless the Turf Mower Sports Racing Club, the members or club volunteers, the owners of the premises of the event location, or any other participants, of and from all liability, loss, ect. You the club participant agree to assume all responsibility for any injuries or damages, which may be sustained as a result of your participation in club events. It will NOT be the responsibility of Turf Mower Sports Racing Club or the owners of the race event location to hold any type of insuance to cover any type of injury, damage, loss, ect. It is your understanding as a participant of this club that any health and/or accident insurance policy is to be held by the indivdual or parent.

SPECTATOR RULES:

CHILDREN - Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. No children will be permitted on the track or pit area until the full completion the days race events.
WAIVER - All spectators will be required to sign a waiver upon the entrance to the track area. This includes children, in the event a child cannot sign the waiver a parent or guardian must sign for that child.
VEHICLES - An area will be designated for parking. No vehicles will be allowed near track area.
ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE - NO illegal substance shall be tolerated. If found guilty of this rule, you will be asked to leave the race event.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - Club will not sell alcoholic beverages. It is allowed if brought by spectator, as long as the beverage does not interfere with club racing activities. Spectators who violate this rule will be asked to leave race event.
CONDUCT - Un-sportsmanlike conduct WILL NOT be tolerated. This may result in ejection from that day's race and/or more.

CLUB MEMBER:

MEMBERSHIP FEES - The 2002 membership fee is $25.00. This includes a club shirt and your banquet dinner at the end of the racing season. Club shirts must be worn at all race events. This fee is non-refundable.
VOTING - As a paid club member you are intitled to vote on any club related issues. If you are NOT a paid club member you may voice your concerns and/or suggestions but WILL NOT be allowed to participate in any club voting. All club voting will be done at the club meetings. You MUST attend the meeting for your vote to count.
MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES - Club Members MUST abide all club rules stated in this Official Rule Book and at times show "sportsman like conduct" to show our professionalism to the spectators, sponsors and supporters. If our club members cannot set this example of club conduct, why should our club expect the spectators, ect. to act in the same manner? Each member is responsible for the actions of his/her family, friends and pit crew. Actions of such persons in dealing with track officials, ect. will also be the responsibility of each member.
VOLUNTEER TIME - Club members will be responsible to volunteer so many hours to prepare for the 2002 racing season. Club members will also be responsible to volunteer time during the racing season. Members will be asked to take turns to show up day of race to help prepare for the race day.
COMMITTEES - Members are to help support Turf Mower Sports by volunteering time to club committees. Committee participation is the strength of this club.
OFFICIAL RULE BOOK - All members will be issued one copy of the Official Rule Book.
