Todd's Chicken Page

This is my chicken page. I love watching my chickens they are the most interesting animals. I do have lots of other interests but this is my favorite one. We have around 45 chickens at the present time and hopefully we will have more soon.

The picture you see above is of all of our chickens in their enclosed run. We have more Buff Orpingtons than any other breed. (Those are the yellow chickens that you see.)

This is my favorite rooster Gizmo. He is an Araucana/Americana rooster. (Better known as an "Easter Egg Rooster".) He got his name because he was included in our Buff order and in the midst of all those yellow chickens there he was and Ronda said that he looked just like Gizmo from the Gremlins. The name stuck.

This is a picture of our Buffs in the first snow. They didn't quite know what to think. They are all weather birds so even when it snowed they didn't go inside the coop unless it was really cold.
