Keeper Of Our Home

My name is Ronda. Above all else I am a child of God. Without Him I couldn't be everything else that I am. I am very proud to be wife to Todd for 11 years and mother/teacher to Montanna and Dakota, two very beautiful, precious little boys. I know all mothers think that their children are beautiful but mine really are. lol.

I strive daily to be a "keeper of my home" but I fall short a lot. (As I know we all do sometimes.) But if the truth be told I am a messie and I have been all of my life. I am trying my best to overcome that. It is not easy I have to admit. I will just keep right on trying.

I hope that you like pages with lots of different things on them because I have lots of interests. I have collected pig figurines and items for 12 years now. Every Christmas and birthday that collection grows and sometimes it grows on other occations too. People see a pig and bring it to me saying, "I saw this and thought of you or knew you would love it." Now all these years later my pig collection is huge and contains everything from tiny magnets to a dinnerware set. Then we started raising chickens and wouldn'tcha know it, I started finding myself the receipient of things with roosters and chickens on them. But I love them and guess I will collect them too. Good for the country girl in me but BAD for the messie. lol

I also happen to be frugal and love that part of my life. It has enabled me to stay at home and be a full time mother to my boys and now homeschool them. I have been known to pinch a penny until it begs for mercy and then some. I won't say that I am perfect there either since I do backslide from time to time but I always go back to the frugal way of life.

I love to cook and have loved it for 7 years now. I enjoy watching my family and friends eat what I make each day and then go back for more. Before my kids started eating like they had hollow legs I felt like I was cooking too much but now I know God was preparing me for a time when they would eat each morsel and still be hungry. My friends say I cook like I am trying to feed a small army. I tell them I AM!!

My newest interest is homeschooling. I have to admit I love it too. I am still quite new to it but I took to it fast. I get to see my children all day and know exactly what they are learning and watch them grow and change.

Since my family is VERY important to me no page of mine would be complete without pictures of them. So I have a family album where you can see pictures of us (mostly them since I HATE having my picture taken) We have homeschool pictures, as well as pictures of our recent vacation.

I love the internet and I have pages of links that I visit and if you like any of the interests that I do then I am sure you will find something you like there. On top of all of that I am also trying my hand at writing. If you would like to see some of the things that I have written then head on over to my themestream page.
