An
absolute masterpiece! This stunning miniature teacup and saucer is made by Rieber,
Bavaria, and is very ornately done in a rich red and very heavy gold. It has a
wonderful scalloped shape to the rim of the saucer and the base of the cup. The cup
is completely gold inside - except for a white rim accent, and is in mint condition!
It measures 2 3/4" diameter (not including handle). The saucer is just
as ornate, and is in excellent condition (just a very tiny amount of surface scratches in
the centre from the cup sitting in place). I do not know it's exact age, but it is
very old. Miniature sets are highly collectible - ones like this are very much
desired. |

This gorgeous pre-1890 Austrian teacup & saucer set is breathtaking! The flowers are so
pretty, nestled in their warm surroundings. This set is in very good condition
- it does have a very tiny, shallow flake, just below the rim, and a bit of roughness to
the underside - very expected for a piece this old. Other than that, no chips,
cracks, or crazing. A MUST for any collection! circa pre-1890 |

This
lovely English pink Rosebud chintz is just adorable! Very good condition - one tiny
flea bite on base of saucer, and one very small hair line on base of cup - does not extend
to body of cup, and is only noticeable if the cup is turned upside down and carefully
inspected. Does not detract from it's beauty or charm. |

The
very beautiful and classic "Moss Rose" pattern by Roslyn. Precious pink
roses surrounded by tiny blue forget-me-nots, and beautifully done gold accents - make
this one of the most charming sets I have seen. The pattern continues inside the
cup. Excellent condition - no chips, cracks or crazing. Guessing circa
1930-40's |

Another
charming set by Roslyn. Darling pink flowers are sprinkled over this grey and white
striped teacup & saucer, which is accented with gold. The saucer has an unusual shaped
base - which makes this set more desirable. Excellent condition - no chips, cracks
or crazing. There is a tiny bit of glaze staining in the bottom of the cup - looks similar
to a hairline - but is not a hairline crack - it is only the glaze. circa 1930's |

Very
thin porcelain, delicately banded with a detailed row of leaves, done in green and rust
colour, on both cup and saucer. I think the mark says "Austria" -
have take a picture and can be seen if you click on the thumbnail. This mark is not
in any of my books, but I am guessing it is early 1900's. Mint condition. |

This
is a beautiful cup that begins at the top in a warm pink, fades to white, and then fades
to yellow at the bottom. It has an orange coloured handle. This cup has no
mark on the bottom, and appears to be very old. It has the Bavarian/German look to
it - both in style, and in the thinness of the porcelain. It was probably made in
that area. It is 2 5/8" tall, and in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or
crazing. |

This cup is very intriguing. It has a blue bird with an arrow shot
through it's heart, and a yellow bird holding the bow. On the back is the
alphabet. I am guessing it is early 1800's, or even 1700's. Has one small, shallow chip on base (cannot be seen
unless you turn it upside down), some crazing, and 2 hairlines inside cup.
Exterior of cup is in very good condition. If anybody has any information on this
ancient cup, please email me! The bottom is not marked. |
