Tantorin has a long history, with many periods of war and peace. The first historical records
are from a large number of decades ago already. There were other people living in the country at that
moment, the Trrene, and with them it starts. Archeologists have discovered that there were people
living in Tantorin in prehitorical times already, but not much is known of them.
This section consists of several elements. First, of course, there is the extensive written
history. This history is not complete at the moment, it is stuck
somewhere half way. The part covered by the written history is also available in
slideshow format, showing not photographs, but maps of the development of the territories. Then
there is the mythology section. This part contains a description
of the Trrene mythologie, several mythological stories (well, two at the moment) and fragments
of large epics about that period.
