We would like to express our extreme thanks and gratitude to Dr Des Brown, Pediatric Consultant , his colleagues and all the staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Altnagelvin Area Hospital,  for all the help and support in keeping our son alive for us to enjoy every precious day with him.  Also to the Staff at Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children were Ben underwent his surgery to insert the tracheostomy at just 9 weeks old, weighing just 2lb,  with Professor Cinamond,

We  would also like to thank all the family for all the support they have given us throughout the past year, through being there when we needed them and doing fundrasing.

My Grandfather Ken Bates organised a vintage car run through Donegal which raised £1000.00.  So thankyou Grandad and Granny for that. The Donations were presented to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Altnagelvin Area Hospital.

Bens Grandfather, Liam Kennedy, also raised £500.00 from a staff night from Duffy's Bookmakers at the Brunswick Superbowl, Pennyburn, Londonderry.  Staff competed in a bowling competition and donated the winnings to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Altnagelvin Area Hospital
