I was awarded my PhD in 2002 from Greenwich University (London, UK) in the Applied Artificial Intelligence Group (AI Group), supervised by Professor Brian Knight (Brian Knight) . The research I conducted applied case-based reasoning (CBR) for the retrieval of experiential knowledge stored in a case library of previously designed castings in the foundry industry.
You are welcome to check out my work
in more detail below:
Title
of PhD: An Investigation of the Feasibility of a CBR Approach to
the Design of Sand Castings in the Foundry Industry
*** Download my thesis:
For ease of downloading, the thesis has been split into 4 parts . First of all, download to a directory the following 4 zipped files:
Then download this zipped batchfile: PhDThesisBatch
Again, make sure the zipped batchfile is in the same directory. Now,
unzip the files. When the batchfile (PhDThesis.bat) is executed, it will
join the individual parts (1 to 4), thus creating the complete PhD thesis
(in PDF format) which you can then read.
