9/30/97--Bridges to Babylon, the new Stones album, is now out in stores. The video for first single, "Anybody Seen My Baby," is getting frequent play on MTV and VH1.

Stones announce new album, tour

8/18/97--Under the Brooklyn bridge in New York City The Rolling Stones announced a new album, Bridges to Babylon, and a tour behind it set to begin on September 23 at Soldier Field in Chicago. Bridges to Babylon will hit stores on September 29. Sprint gives customers first dibs on tickets

8/18/97--Sprint, the global communications company sponsoring the Stones tour, has hatched a wily scheme to get new customers signed up. They are giving preference to Sprint customers in ticket purchases. Current customers and new sign-ups are given a shot a purchasing tickets before they are made available to the general public.
