The first page you have seen the signage for access road. That gives you an idea as to the degree of difficulties that you may encounter. This page will then show you what you can expect to see as a visitor to the compound of park's office. This park has one advantage over Sungei Relau. There was a canteen operator. There was no concern about having to prepare your own meals. As you will see, the set-up here appeared complete with proper class of dormitory and chalets. The 2nd sign below at a glance would indicate what is installed for you. As it is so remote, all you could see are care takers and workers. No outside causal visitors. |

First you do not get to see this one. I have taken it from the signage along the trunk road. They do not see the need for one at the Park proper.
A picture tells a thousand words. All there is to know! -what is available in this park?.
Continuing from the car park area, the main administrative office and followed by the canteen immediately behind this frontage.
There are more charges to be paid during your visit.
Same place -the car park, the office in front followed by the canteen behind.
The chalets
Side view of the dormitory
The frontage and the play field
The deep and slow flowing river
The dilapidated suspension bridge. Now to cross over, you need to hire a small boat.
The mosque and the Car park
From the compound, there was this beautiful track that led down to the river bank. The observations that I made came from a short visit. We were there for a day. Did not have time to check out the conditions and environment of the trail in the park proper. However based on the claims and also reflected in the leaflet provided by the Park. This destination was good for birders. they boost about having recorded 300 over species. That I could vouch. I saw quite a few my own.
Overall, for you guys who are hungry for adventure and at a loss as where could you go next. Then this is the place to consider. |
