Tropical forest, in the eyes of  visitors coming from the temperate zones, is truly a welcoming sight. It is a constant Summer. But for those of us brought up around tropical forests, look forward to change  from the stale, warm and humid environment.

Plateau such as the land in Cameron Highlands offers such a change. Cool mountain air, the presence of uncommon vegetations, less piercing sunshine, persistently moderate temperature and constant humidity. These factors nurture a special climatic zone where many vegetation alien to lowland folks thrive!

The Mossy Forest is one such example.
