Adoption...Wearing the other shoes

He looked at me......to say.
She is not........but your's.
A knife could not have cut me deeper.
I look at Sarah.......
With all the love, I hold within my heart.
A love so strong.......
I would lie my life down in a moment.
Yes; reality is true.
Bio-mom, I am not.
But, mother..I am!
For it is I.....who feels her heartbeat.
It is I......she finds love and comfort.
It is I.....who protects her.
It is I....that brings her joy, security, stability, and happiness.
There is no denning this.
This meaning I hold.

Star

(**Note-Star is a B-mom and became an A-Mom when she adopted little Sarah
recently. Now she is seeing 2 sides to the adoption story.**)
