A LOVING TRIBUTE.
....DEAR BIRTHMOTHER.....
A special place is tucked deep in my heart .....Where you
will always be.
For born of you.....I tell you true.....How important you are to
me.
When first you caressed me so tight in your arms.....You prayed
to God above.
Then sang me your song.....of hope to be strong.....And told me
of your love.
You dreamed of a life you could not give.....And wanted so much
more.....
Than hardship and sorrow, in all my tomorrows.So grim is the life
of the poor.
You treasured my life, and therefore you gave.....a most
precious,
unselfish gift. A father, a mother..and even a brother..A family,
was your
wish.
You searched for those who prayed for a child. They would cherish
and
nurture me. With my loss you did grieve.....but truly believed..
Your love must set me free.
You told me to gaze at the stars in the sky.....And imagine all I
could be.
Determined with will, good fortune and skill.....I would go
wherever life leads.
You hoped I would grow with integrity and pride..And become an
honorable woman.
With compassion and courage..my life would flourish..Being
confident with all who I am.
I pray God holds you within His hand.....For without you I would
not be.
So happy and strong.....I truly belong.....In this life you gave
to me.
