Oh, how complicated
this journey can be!!

First, finding strength
while still wanting to flee.
Hopes of happiness
with a "storybook ending."
Then suddedenly your sraight road
appears to be bending.
What if the outcome
is not what expected?
Then how to act?
still calm and collected?
The thing to remember
no matter how it turns out.
You HAVE found what your seeking
now, you have no doubt.
So, I urge all who read
this poem of mine.
Make SURE you are ready,
for: Accept or Decline.
For whether "a reunion"
---happy and gay.
Or even a small voice,
asking "please go away".
NOTHING is written in,
in UNCHANGEABLE stone.
Love and concern,
has been effectively shone.
Later in life,
your road just may staighten.
Leading to the person,
you've been eagerly awaiting.
NEVER give up,
hold LOVE close to your heart.
Be sure you are ready,
before, beginning to start.

Thanks for the use of your poem!
