1.    Dear God above who lovest us,
    Kind Father of everyone,
    All-knowing and all powerful,
    We praise thy name with heart and soul.

2.    We thank Thee for this glorious world.
    We thank Thee for every gift.
    The breath of life, our daily bread,
    Thy risen Son, our living head.

3.    We thank Thee for his sacrifice
    That gives us part in thy grace;
    The healing balm, the heavenly kiss
    When we return from deeds amiss.

4.    We ask that Thou wilt make of us
    All fitting tools in thy hand
    To show on earth thy ways above
    To those that Thou and we do love.
