Pale-faced Clubskimmer, Brechmorhoga mendax
A wheeled pair was photographed at Rio Vista Crossing in Spring 2003 (tg0; photos not yet posted. Another wheeled pair as at the same location on 10 October 2003 (tg, gl). Two possible individuals were observed on the North Fork of the Guadalupe 5 October 2003 (tg). Two were present at the low water crossing on Cade Loop at Camp Rio Vista on 21 October 2003 (photographed, tg).  Information on occurrence of this species also based on John C. At least one individual was present in a rocky field of Cowpen Daisy and Maximilian Sunflower at RV on 29-30 September 2002 and again on 1 October 2002 (tg). A single individual of this species was seen, but not photographed, in Spring 2003. If/when documented it will be a new county record. It has also been reported from Bandera County (Abbott 2003).

First located for Kerr County on 12 October 2002 at the crossing past the ugly house on FM1340 at what is now called Benson Crossing (tg; photo). Two joined pair were dipping in a puddle of water on asphalt after rains, at the Rest Area on east Texas 41, on 19 October 2002 (tg; photos). (also reported from Real, Gillespie, Abbott (2000); and Kendall, (Abbott)).
