SOORAH AL_KAUTHAR (A RIVER IN PARADISE)
| In the Name of Allaah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. | |

| 1. | Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise); [1] | |
| 2. | Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). | |
| 3. | For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), - he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter). [2] | |
[1] (V.108:1) Narrated Anas (radiAllaahu 'anhu): When the Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) was made to ascend the heavens He (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said (after his return), "I came to a river (in Paradise) the banks of which were made of tents of hollow pearls. I asked Jibrael (Gabriel), 'What is this (river)?' He replied, 'This is the Kauthar.' " (Saheeh Al-Bukharee, Vol. 6, Hadeeth No. 488).
[2] (V.108:3) Narrated Anas (radiAllaahu 'anhu): The Prophet (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said, "None of you will have Faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind." (Saheeh Al-Bukharee, Vol. 1, Hadeeth No. 14).
