LIST OF PROSTRATION PLACES MENTIONED IN THE QUR'AAN
It is a good practice to prostrate at the following places while reciting the Qur'aan:

* In all, fourteen places of prostration are agreed upon by all Muslim religious scholars and Ulama, while Imaam Shaaf'i suggests prostration at this place also.
The following invocation is usually recited during the prostration:
Sajada wajhiya lilladhi khalaqahu wa sawwarahu, wa shaqqa sam'ahu wa basarahu, tabarak-Allahu Ahsan-ul-Khaliqueen. [Sahih Muslim, Vol. 4, Hadîth No. 201]
