The Rain Dance - Although this file has been altered over the years, this was the first song I ever composed in MIDI, and one of my favorites overall. This was written for a saxophone solo piece.
Sonatina for Wind Quartet - My first attempt at writing for a wind quartet, in sonatina format. It's kind of bland.
Untitled Theme - I've been told this piece sounds like an action movie theme... I don't think so.
Mourning Song - I'm not sure what prompted this piece, but yes, there's references to Aaron Copeland's "Appalachian Spring" and Guns'N'Roses' "Patience" in there...
Ruins of Roslin Castle - This was one of the two Celtic-inspired pieces I wrote. This is more atmospheric, and less traditional than the other.
The Rowan Tree Trilogy - The other Celtic-inspired piece. This one is a bit repetitive, but is more like an Irish dance tune than the other. I love the Sligo flute part in the third section.
Canon - This is my first attempt at writing a canon. I started out with strings,but then decided on using a woodwind quartet.
Unfinished Xmas Medley - As the title says, this piece is unfinished, basically I just ran out of steam. I didn't know where to go next. Maybe sometime I'll pick it back up again.
Millenium - The beginning is somewhat futuristic. Again, I've been told this sounds like a movie soundtrack. I also feel this is my most cohesive piece to date.
