Use 800x600 Resolution... and use File -> Save As... and save
this to
read later. It is very lengthy and unless you are
on a constant connection (cable, etc.) you will get disconnected before
you can read this. Read it when not online
(unless you are always connected). Honestly, this is a very serious
page [No, it isn't] Yes it is [No, it isn't] Yes it is...
Now, look, I'm tired of arguing, just read [About what? An old fat
man's rantings on a fighting game engine tenure?
Not hardly.] Read it! I've got an orange... [Well, Alright then, since
you put it so "bluntly". (Orange you glad he's not
packing a banana? Let alone a howitzer in his back pocket like most
local "toughs" do).]
This page is being done as a reference of my time
spent
within the M.U.G.E.N. community. I am doing
this to give others a perspective from someone who does
(or did after I eventually quit) things
"my way" because I could and don't have to rely on
others
except Elecbyte (for the game engine, not
for coding). This is not an "I am bleeding well right
all the time page" or anything similar. This is my
take on my tenure in MUGEN and my thoughts on what
was/is/will
be as "I" see it or have seen it.
Ah yes, freedom from uncivilization that is the
"community".
Remember as well that much of this is
my feelings at the time things happened as well as my
feelings now. Both are thrown in and not
always explained thoroughly which is which. Past or
present?
But I digress, on with the show...
This page was also started before the "nDo" became
an
actual name and group. nDo stands for
"new Dev order" and is symbolic of a LOUSY idea. The
idea has been around a LONG time as well
(a BIG part of the fall of the TESTP forum as well and
oddly enough started by the same individuals it
seems). The constant claim of "I'm not nDo" by actual
nDo people is absurd. Why? Because if you
follow by thought and by deed (head and hand in the
Bible)
then you are part of the "group". A thief
does not wish to be seen as a thief but one who steals
from others is a _____ (A thief by another
name...). An nDo supporter naturally doesn't want to
be seen as a supporter so they LIE and try to say
they aren't or try to say "well, I wasn't a founding
member so I am not nDo." Wrong, by idea and deed
YOU ARE nDo. By posting under fake names, flaming
people
"for the fun of it", harassing people,
STALKING people (this is ILLEGAL, honest), destroying
message boards, allowing others to use your
admin/mod abilities to attack forums and individuals,
LIE about others, and so on... The "I'm not nDo"
fails on the most basic level of the fact that they ALL
went around saying how they supported what the
nDo did and was doing and ALSO were guilty of doing the
deeds THEMSELVES. Saying they
AREN'T is like saying Rommel wasn't a [censored]
because
he wasn't Hitler. This is THAT ridiculous.
Note, nDo are all members of a group known as MRev (Mugen
Revolution). The two are the same.
This is also NOT a news type page. This is my
thoughts
on my tenure in MUGEN and events
that have helped CREATE these thoughts. Read above
again
if you still have trouble understanding
the reason behind this (The paragraph that starts out
"This page is being done as a reference...").
This paragraph is mainly for the idiocy behind nDo
supporters
and their constant twisting and
just plain [blank] (notice I can't use BS or [blank]
anymore because they are THAT [BLANKED]
STUPID). Also, imagine trying to post this on a message
board "in response" to a question of
"who is GohanSSM2 and what did he do?" (and this was
started BEFORE that topic started).
Some people asked so I started this page and not as a
put down but an explanation. Also, on the
message boards I get attacked by MANY all at once (they
ARE cowards). Many of my posts
became LONG because I have to repeat the same idiotic
stuff to THEM OVER AND OVER
AND OVER AND OVER... I mean read this page and see all
the repitition from where they
all bring up the same lies and [blank] over and over
again... If they weren't so [blanked] dumb
this page wouldn't be so [blanked] long because I
wouldn't
have to repeat stuff OVER AND
OVER AND OVER... And it is always the same [blanked]
answer
too to their SAME [blanked]
[blanking] questions that I've answered the same way
for
eight and more [blanking] times. Read on...
Well, maybe a short digression here. I also need to
say
that M.U.G.E.N. is not really designed as
a game engine to "translate" other fighting game
characters
into a common engine. MUGEN has
been mainly used like this but is really an open end
system to create "original" fighting games
with. MUGEN isn't made to copy in Capcom characters or
DBZ characters or SNK characters, etc.
and make them all compatible with each other under
"one"
game engine. The truth is that MUGEN
is being designed as an open end "make your own game"
engine. You can do Witches, Minotaurs,
Dragons, Wolves, Chickens, girls, guys, geeks, whatever
you can imagine, draw and code. [møøses
too even]. MUGEN has definitely yet to see its true
bright
spot which is to allow creativity and
imagination of the end-user to flourish and not as a
"copy" engine. A few shared my vision but many
don't. Many wrongly see MUGEN as a copy fighting game
stuff engine, which it can be used as but
is not really being designed nor made for this purpose.
The copy ability does show some of the
usefulness of the engine but the engine's full
usefulness
will never be seen until there is a TRUE
MUGEN game made (of MUGEN, by MUGEN, for MUGEN and not
copied in any way).
My best idea for this was "Mythos - Legends in Time"
but also "Bar Room Brawl - The Game"
{hint: Imagine fighting at Hooter's} and a few more as
well. MUGEN works best as a full GAME
engine and not a COPY engine.
[Yeah right coming from a devout copier as yourself
Gohan.
All talk but no walk. You møøsér].
And yet another digression..., This is my ___th {I
honestly
have lost count now} edit so far on this
page. Why an edit? Because of the length and the amount
of information that is around, there is bound
to be stuff I forgot to discuss or include in the
previous
times and additions as well. I mean a year and
a half is a long time to remember stuff off the top of
your head and all. (Plus 37 and old age setting in
too...) I just thought as well that it might be a good
idea to try to put up some porno so you can think
better when you try to read this very lengthy
chronology.
Maybe if your [blank] starts working the
brain will finally kick in. Eh, wishful thinking but
I'll throw in some old pics from a long time ago that
used to be up at WoM for my releases. Then ReACtOrZ
went
to animated Gifs later on because of the
size of the pages and AniGiFs were smaller sized files
to deal with so it made for quicker page loading.
Kewl! I put them at the end of the doc for mam, I mean
memories. [mammaries, what was I thinking?
What a boob I is...]
And also another odd discussion... due to my coding
being
"Public Domain" I can not, nor can anyone
else, accuse someone of stealing it, OK. That is like
accusing someone of "stealing a drink of water"
from a public drinking fountain. Sad people. So
remember
from this that I have not nor am I ever
accusing someone of stealing my stuff. You can steal
from others however but mine is public domain,
OK. Using my stuff is different, but then, anyone can
USE my stuff but it can't be stolen. Case in
point: danil swaps his name for mine and redoes a
readme
for Gotenks. Did danil steal my Gotenks?
No. It is public domain so do as you wish (so long as
the copyright holders of the original do not
object). Did danil use my Gotenks? Pretty obvious. Did
he steal it? No. Anyone can do as they wish
with it so long as the copyright holders do not object.
Same goes for anything I post or have posted
in the help forums. Public Domain for GohanSSM2.
EVERYTHING.
As far as copyright discussion
as well... YOU CAN NOT COPYRIGHT A KEN BASED AT ALL ON
CAPCOM'S KEN. Capcom
holds THE copyright so YOU can NOT copyright it as
yours.
Period. No "it's my coding", or "I
cleaned up sprites", etc. because that will NOT hold
up in a court of law because Capcom also has the
rights to the moves of the character, etc. Same as
GohanSSM2
(me folks [and møøses too]) can NOT
legally copyright Bojack or anything derived thereof.
What is in the law is a set of statutes known as
the "Publisher's rights" statutes which can give
protection
to derivative works PROVIDING you have
DIRECT consent from the copyright holder THEMSELVES or
the material is Public Domain or
abandonned (and the last I knew public
domain/abandonned
occured 17 YEARS AFTER the death of
the copyright holder, hence unlimited corporations were
set up to provide unlimited renewal of
copyrights). You must obtain permission FIRST however
(unless abandonned or Public Domain). But
it is not a copyright but is a publisher's right.
Henceforth
the original Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry
is a copyrighted song whereas Johnny B. Goode by Judas
Priest is a published song (published with
permission of the COPYRIGHT holder). Same goes for
MUGEN
editted sprites too. If the sprite looks
like an edit of an existing character (like $' is of
K') then it also CAN NOT be copyrighted. My Sweet
Lord/He's So Fine is an offshoot of this and Mr.
Harrison
lost a lot of money because he copyrighted
My Sweet Lord which the COURT decided was too much like
He's So Fine to be a coincidence. When
in doubt, publish DON'T TRY to copyright. You can be
SUED for it, OK? I mean there is no doubt
George Harrison came up with the song My Sweet Lord
but...
There has also been an extension on
"fan-based" art over the internet but MUGEN characters
are not really covered under that either. You
can't advertise that you are a Capcom fan without
saying
Capcom. You can also use sprites as "fan-art"
to show your appreciation or like of a particular
person
or idea. MUGEN CAN be seen as fan art but
also CAN be seen as theft by some as well. It is easy
to tell that the MUGEN community are fans of
fighting games and as such wish to express their
fandom.
It can also be seen as someone trying to take
away from the profitability of an existing product
(therefore
an infringement). The game makers
themselves have been very kind in seeing this as fandom
and as such have sort of ignored going after
MUGEN creators like they avoid going after other fans
(I think in large part because the chars are
really THAT BAD as to add value to the original
characters
and original games so MUGEN is not really
a threat and more of "fanart" type stuff {so far at
least}.
I don't think I've ever seen someone that liked
a MUGEN character truly better than the original
character
it was made from. There's always
something missing or gameplay, etc...) The MUGEN engine
itself is NOT designed for the purpose of
copying other people's stuff and as such is in no
violation
of ANY copyright laws. The community,
however, has been guilty of using copyrighted material
not related to MUGEN itself. The community is
to blame and not Elecbyte. Elecbyte is NOT warez or
such
and also could at any time deny ANYONE
or EVERYONE from using its product. Period. Elecbyte
has also put into its docs that if you use their
product in an illegal manner THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR
YOUR ACTIONS. Elecbyte has only
SUPPLIED the product like id Software SUPPLIED Doom.
Some people used Doom as well to
represent previously copyrighted material and id
Software
as well IS NOT LIABLE for misuse. Plain
and simple, if Bandai says GohanSSM2, we don't think
what you have done is in good interest with our
company therefore... and I GohanSSM2 am dead in the
water
because Bandai HAS the right and I do
NOT. I can be sued if they so desire and I would LOSE.
Bandai could try to sue Elecbyte but Bandai
would NOT win in that case because Elecbyte did NOT
give
GohanSSM2 (me again folks) the right to
use copyrighted works within their game engine. The
wording
of the rights in the MUGEN docs is very
well stated. They have it worded like that for a reason
people. The reason is that if someone gets
permission to do a copyrighted work they do not wish
to deny that privilege but they also do not wish
to grant privileges that THEY CAN NOT grant. Therefore
they can neither condone nor support using
copyrighted works within their game engine. That is not
a go ahead but more a warning that they are not
responsible if YOU screw up but are also not against
things done with permission (or lax permission so
to speak). But whatever you do, YOU DO ON YOUR OWN
WILL,
not because Elecbyte didn't say
you couldn't, but because Elecbyte didn't say you
could!!!
[Another long winded one. Isn't the plural of
møøse,
möüsë? What a beguiling end to a long tripe about
rights. I'm a lefty! What's all this got to do with me?
Huh? I can see why møøses would be upset as
well. Most of them are ambidextrous I believe. All this
going on about rights all the time. When are us
lefties (and ambidextrouses) gonna get our fair shake?]
1. The Start: Bojack [sb2] - July 23/24, 2000
My first character. I was introduced to M.U.G.E.N.
through
a DBZ site known as DBZ 2057. It had 2
games up for download; one made by the site runner and
the other game was ME by MugeNow (mainly
EmuBoarding at the time). There were also the creators'
home pages listed with the games as well as the
link sites on those pages and those page's link sites,
etc. Finally I ran across TESTP (but after I had
started work on Bojack). I started work on Bojack
roughly
on July 15, 2000 (MUGEN v01.01.2000 was
the version used at the time.) The original name I WAS
going to use as my name was Anonymous4 but
I later decided to go with GohanSSM2 (Gohan Super
Saiyan
Man #2 - SSM2). Which was great with
"Why be just Great when you can be a Super Saiyan Man
Too" that I used as my sig in TESTP at
one time (and my place was listed as Corning, NY, USA
at one time as well). Gohan Super Saiyan Man
was a joke on a cross between Gohan of DBZ and Superman
of DC comics. Super Saiyan Man, faster
than a speeding Kamehameha, able to leap tall buildings
in a single Buuku Juutsu, more powerful than a
Genki Dama, who disguised as Gohan fights a never
ending
battle for truth, justice and the right to wear
odd looking stuff to "look cool". Why 2? Great Saiyaman
#1 is Saiyaman with the helmet. Great
Saiyaman #2 is Saiyaman with the headkerchief and
sunglasses.
I don't like helmets but have worn
sunglasses and a tie as a headband so close enough for
me. OK, enough foolishness, I released Bojack
through an e-mail post on TESTP on 7/23/2000 where I
roughly said something like "post your e-mail
and I'll send a copy. He has all but the C??? Buster
meteo move because that move doesn't look good in
MUGEN..." and I got 6 replies the first day. I e-mailed
all 6 but one e-mail ...12aol.com (notice no @)
didn't get through. I tried the 2 as the @ sign but it
didn't work so the next night I e-mailed the second
copy (with the possets in) to ...12@aol.com plus the
others that came and posted afterwards. (in a
week there was somewhere between 38 to 42 "my e-mail
is..." posts in the topic when ReACtOrZ
asked if I'd be willing to join his new site, World of
Mugen, and the link to the site was added to the
bottom of the message and no more "my e-mail is..."
posts
in it. Now for the real stuff, development...
My coding experience itself came from having a
TRS-80
Color Computer and no real cartridges
(except Orchestra-90 which is like a midi attachment
but not hardly a game cartridge) so I
had to code stuff myself using the machines' built-in
BASIC language to do anything. I made many
games myself and saved them on a cassette recorder (no
floppy back then, they existed but they were
$200 for the floppy and diskettes were $5 for 5 of 360K
5¼ with hub ring. So I used cassette since I
had one and many tapes as well). This was in 1981 and
later (I was 16 at the time...). I, at first, had
the CC which had only 8008 RAM in it (very limiting
because
it is not K or kilobytes but 8008 bytes
memory total - roughly 8K - that was it.). In 1982 I
got a CC2 which had 24K RAM in it.
Much better. I also added joysticks too. Some things
I did were a word Monopoly game (which I did on
the CC with 8K RAM), word processors for storing my
cassette
tape info and VCR tape info, a chess
piece plotter (definitely not enough RAM for a real
chess
game), and many other things... Later I
worked with QuickBASIC and did the Doom utilities on
the utilities page you see on this site. I had
some experience before by playing around with Doom
stuff
and the emulators I had found nearly a year
before so I was used to them as well. I found a site
(since abandonned) that had some tools on it
(MCM, SNESSOR95, others) so I got the tools and started
to work on Bojack. I never used a tutorial
and have never really sat down and gone through one
either.
I did refer many people to the Fallen
Angel tutorial site however because it had pictures and
words making it easier for many to
understand better. I ran across the site by accident
going through links like I did each night. I
put the link in my favorites folder with (tutorial)
after
it so that I knew what it was (same as putting
Mhz in parentheses after Mhz's site and other notes as
well. This made it easier to reference stuff
and then pass along the links later on in the Requests
sections. Also, I leave all the docs in the character
folders on my hard drive and used those to post links
with.). My stuff is/was/will be trial and error
mostly. With Bojack I played around a lot with stuff
(most unreleased until later) and did all kinds of
things that I didn't talk about (flying, throws,
p2states
- sort of with the Comet? Buster that I still don't
like and won't ever release and I've deleted the
remnants
of it now). I used the v09.12.1999 Kung Fu
Man files (only had the basic punch/kick 200, 210, 400,
410, 600, 610 states and the 3000 Wazaa
which I deleted anyway. Somewhere I found the version
of KFM that also had the "remove the
semi-colons to allow Kung Fu Man to break a block of
wood in the intro" which I based my projectile
moves from - state
1000, note also, Elecbyte had offset
25,-56 and not offset = 25,-56
in this state
which is now semi-coloned off as 'evidence'). The docs
for v01.01.2000 left a lot to be desired. Airview
crashed and didn't work so collision boxes were done
using debug mode and ctrl+C to turn on collision
boxes and then manually adjust the values by eye. That
was a pain but the extra effort was worth it at
the time (I learned clsn#default
because of this, which
does save space in the .air file). Scrap paper as a
tool? Why? Well you had to write down the rough values
while in debug mode and then copy that rough
info into the .air file. But that was long ago and a
place far, far away... I also added in the copy from
Kakaroto/The Necromancer/Omniscience's Piccolodb2 of
the exhausted/tired states. I saw this
Piccolo as pretty much a rehash of kuzu-bei's work
anyway
so I figured why not? This I did as a
deterrant to using others' codes. It was funny too
because
by using the copy of their codes instead of
my own (my own had the velset = 0,0 in it) Bojack would
just slide across the stage when he became
exhausted. Only 3 or 4 people asked about it (and it
was an intentional bug as well) so I took it out
later on. I don't think it ever turned anyone away from
copying or stealing though. I did try though.
The first road block, in Bojack, was that there weren't
any velset states that I was
aware of so I used
the statedef's velset
to set dash moves with (instead
of type = velset). Later I
did the type = velset state
which works much better. The next really big obstacle
was the big fireball and "beam" attack moves. I
wanted to make them both multi-hit moves because the
counter appearing idea seemed cool (and still
does). I found the projhits
value for projectiles and
added that to the big fireball (Grand Smasher) and it
worked well with the projectile code (code 1000 in an
early version of KFM). Then came the "beam"
attack move which I also wanted to be multi-hit as well
(same cool counter idea). I tried the Galactic
Buster ("beam" attack) with a hitdef and the numhits
value in the hitdef. That
made the counter appear
but not anything multi-hit so I decided to use the
multi-hit
projectile coding for the Grand Smasher only
adjust the velocity
of the fireball to be zero
(stationary
projectile). The first time I tried it I forgot to set
the x velocity equal to zero and a copy of Bojack just
appeared and went across the screen. oops!
Another oops! also showed up later, if I used the hard
anim for the get hit state
some characters would
slide out of the beam's attack area so I set the get
hit to light instead of hard to avoid this. Also, there
wasn't the fall = 1
in v01.01 MUGEN so you needed to
use "juggle points" to make a
fall. I also added
in the multiple states before for the warm up. Inside
these states were also HitDefs
at first so that if a
person just dashed into Bojack they would still recieve
damage although they would also stop the
Galactic Buster move from completing and would recieve
only 200 damage instead of the 250 or 750
damage if the move would complete (3:1 ratio in the old
days but changed to 2:1 recently). Why so
much damage? Because the big "hyper" moves were
portrayed
as massively damaging moves in the
shows so it seemed logical to make them massively
damaging
in a fighting game as well. These moves
also used mega amounts of energy which the person would
need to build up to acquire the energy to
use these massively damaging moves. THIS IS DBZ! This
is where power levels and such come into
play. A DBZ character without power and strength and
a fear factor (from their renowned damaging
moves like Kamehameha and Makenkansuoppo) just doesn't
feel like a real DBZ character. After
talking with many fans of the series I realized that
some didn't like the games produced by Bandai as
much (they liked them but...) because the big moves
weren't
as damaging. They did like the ability to
counter the moves though (which would require
"standards"
that I don't wish to make, to make this
stuff happen in MUGEN). Many DBZ fans like the higher
damage much better than a "game-like"
damage set. Why? Because they like causing fear in
others
just like they see when Cell gets annihilated
by Gohan and when Frieza blows up Planet Vegeta. Most
DBZ fans love massive power and love
getting the ability to use it. But like the show they
need to earn it. As a reference here let's look at
Goku... Goku starts the fight by sort of setting his
power level to that which is near his opponent's.
Goku then tests his opponent's strength out and
realizes
that neither he nor his opponent are using their
"full power". Both fighters then increase their power
levels and fight some more. At the lower levels
they have fewer moves and the moves aren't as damaging.
When the power level increases they are
more damaging and have more moves available as well.
This provides the drive behind DBZ character
making. DBZ is very power oriented and MUGEN has a
power
bar that just "begs" to be used for
something other than a hat rack or christmas ornament
hanger. Also, the Kamehameha is a last resort
move that Goku uses when he "has no choice". After
building
up strength and power then Goku "may"
achieve the ability to do a Kamehameha. There is always
a warm up to it (although it isn't totally based
off of energy levels it is not as effective if it is
not done by someone who has a higher energy level base
aka Master Roshi puts out the Fire Mountain fire with
it while Goku (being weaker) knocks off a
hubcap from a car with it. Hence the need to build up
energy and power levels to make the move
damaging and effective). [Now back to our regularly
scheduled
program (I hope).] Now to the Galactic
Buster again... My first release also was missing the
projremovetime value from the projdef (as
opposed to hitdef). I also posted the code on TESTP at
the time with this bug in it. Someone posted
later that "hey, the beam player doesn't disappear and
stays on screen". I went "oops!, I forgot to
add in the projremovetime
value...". What really
happened was that I had reverted to an older version
that I had done before playing around with an early
version
of my flying code (this
didn't work well at
all though because most things were handled by the game
engine in v01.01.2000 MUGEN and not
customizable). This is also why I had the "your
character
floats into the air once in a while bug". When
I went backwards I also went to before using the
possets
that I used to use. So... on the next night after
the first release I released the bug fixed version (the
true v1.0 Bojack). Only 5 people got the first bug
version and I re-sent the fixed version to them. I
deleted
the first version so this could be a very rare
release. I didn't include the stuff I was playing with
(except the anims for flying with the afterimages
are in there - I think 230 is the number of the anims
but it has been a while). Originally before the
fly codes all the Hyper type moves used the 'z' key.
Because that might cause problems with the
'z' key getting hit and not doing a hyper move but
taking
to the skies, I moved all the hyper moves
and such to other keys leaving the 'z' key open. I
always
had powering up reserved on
the 'c' key
so I never had to redo that stuff. Bojack didn't fly
until late October 2000 (v1.999) that I sent to
ReACtOrZ of World of Mugen fame... v2.0 was the first
release of the fly code and was the first few
days of November 2000 while I had started my war with
Silent Storm back in early September 2000
(and at the time I thought it was Infiinma and Kirby
playing games and that Silent Storm wasn't a real
person). I was getting very insulting on Mugen Dev
forum
at this time towards Storm (insulting, heck,
I was downright vulgar and obnoxious and was bypassing
censorship left and right with little warez type
spellings.) The fly
codes original fixable bug was
where
I had left out the ctrl = 1
line in the cmd file so
Bojack would just start flying at any time (even during
a move). There were a few other bugs that I
couldn't fix until the v04.01 and later version of
MUGEN
came out and put the 120, 140, and
51 states
in the common1.cns
file where I needed them to edit
them
to work with the fly codes. What would
happen is that during these states my characters would
just sink to the ground then pop back up to
flying. The base for the recent flying code was
Elecbyte's
v07.31.2000 common1.cns file
but since
updated for 04.01.2001 MUGEN (v01.01.2000 MUGEN had
very
few of the common entries IN the
common file so the coding didn't work worth [blank]
when
I originally tried it in Bojack in July 2000,
hence the original 24 hours). This same code could also
be altered to work like the
Hyper Dimension/sb3 free flight codes but I have been
asked by several people NOT to do it so I
haven't and won't. Doing the fly codes took 24 hours
in the first attempt and 18 hours in late october
for 42 hours making it the longest and biggest coding
I have and will do. This taught me the common
states though
(and how) and made me sort of elite
amongst
many other coders. I have very personal
knowledge of the workings of the common file because
I had to edit most of it to get the fly codes to
work. GameMakeAnim
states, make dust states,
etc. plus
the anim changes for flying / ground states...
The original November release also had Bojack stay in
the air EVEN on a knock down move. The stay
in the air after knockdown was tougher than letting him
fall to the ground was, but that is how I wanted
it back then, so I did it that way. The fly codes are
special in another way as well. This is where I
started using vars
(although I didn't release
anything
with var in it until the
Bojack fly codes in
november). Also, the character(s) are vulnerable when
going into and out of fly mode so it seems
balanced enough to add in as gameplay (it gives a
reward
but you are also vulnerable to attack to
recieve that reward too). This is about the time
(October / November 2000) of the
"Squallleonheart talk" I have about gameplay.
Bojack has and always will be my "guinea pig" for
stuff.
Bojack is also the character I started the 5 fireballs just tires me out codes -
I think in
January
of 2001. I also had a form of AI
using vars as well
and random with time
= 1 in the cmd
file but that won't
ever come out either because DBZ stinks with
AI because AI limits a character
to using only certain
moves while DBZ works best when randomly
done by the game engine. I
experimented with throw
codes
and p2 custom states with
Bojack (but
never released or will
release the Cosmic Buster meteo
version because I just never liked it so I
deleted it for good). If
no one noticed, the air
punch/kick
uses the Capcom SF II (non-alpha) type
moves (with double
jump left in). Bojack was my first
base done directly from KFM. Also the first
releases I did were
very bad as far as sprite alignment
went. I also ripped out many of the common sprites
in the 5000s
to save space because I figured
"they aren't used in the air file so aren't needed".
I added the anims
back in after the time of the fly
code
release (november 2000).
Update, update, update...
I also remember that at one time I put in a "fly
codes
doc" with Bojack and others on how to add
the codes to other characters. (sarcasm) This doc was
VERY ego driven and intentionally so. It was
sort of a barb in the side of Silent Storm.(/sarcasm)
Not only had I made a very original code but I had
decided that "I'm not here for fame so you can do as
you wish. No credit need be given".
(sarcasm) I mean how arrogant of me. (/sarcasm) And I
was told so by the community...
I also remember now (April 8, 2002) that originally
I
moved the 200, 400, 600 attacks
to numbers
220, 420, and 620
respectively. By doing this I became
a stinker to 'AI' people because there
wasn't a state 200,
400, 600 which was normally
reserved
for punches. P2stateno became
less effective this way. Sneaky huh? This was also
started
in July 2000 before 'AI' (Artificial
Intelligence) became 'popular'. Has since been changed
back to accomodate Ginyu's
Body Exchange coding (and that was the only reason it
got changed back). I remembered this
for some reason when updating Dabura to v5.9.
Flashbacks...
[I remember flashbacks. They come
from eating that pointed three leaf grass. That stuff
makes you more hungry. I avoid it now.]
Most damage values and gameplay issues were decided
with
Bojack. Your first release is also not
usually your favorite either. Why? Because they are
your
unfinished "guinea pigs" and you move on to
something you like better. I chose Bojack because he
seemed an average character and he wasn't done
the way I felt he should be. It isn't a case of better
but a case of preference. I like things a certain way so
I make things that way since MUGEN allows it. Open
endedness
is part of the greatness that is MUGEN
because I can do it the way "I" want. Because others
like a certain thing doesn't make it better, just more
popular (I'll deal with this in the Maximum Frieza part
I hope, scene 21). Bojack was released on
July 23, 2000 at the TESTP forum with an "e-mail me for
it" post. The v1.0 was released on
July 24, 2000 with the projremovetime and posset bug
fixes. Also, the original did NOT have the x,y
combos nor a throw move (I needed to find snap and
p2getp1state
value for the hitdef - I knew
p1stateno and p2stateno) After a week I met
ReACtOrZ
who came up with the World of Mugen site
that had a huge stock because ReACtOrZ put a lot of
effort
into getting stuff for the site (including
making some of his own bgs and creating his own music
- he was in a band too, Juno ReACtOrZ, that
did techno style music). I remember WoM and the first
time I saw it with just Bojack and Guile on
there. It was pretty bare but later on WOW! that site
was HUGE! I liked the arrangement because I
know I stink at dealing with others and because I
didn't
want to bother with doing a site of my own
(and still don't but my stuff is HUGE now as well by
itself - 70MBs of MUGEN stuff) At the time of
Bojack I started to hang out in the TESTP forum in the
Help area. I couldn't help too much but when I
could I tried. It wasn't for name or anything but
because
I thought "if I can help then why not?" I was
learning myself but also knew that there weren't many
people that could code from scratch on their own.
There still aren't so I should leave it to the "I use
so and so's as a base" crowd (yeah, base and then
some...). I tried to convince quite a few to "do
it
yourself because you are missing the experience" but it
has fallen on deaf ears MOST of the time (very few
exceptions).
Many sprite problems still exist within
Bojack's .sff file because of the day/sunset
stages
in the original game. This page is also about that
"experience".

2. Cell (normal) [sb1] - August 1, 2000
My second offing (and not as developed as my first).
He
was done but not done well... He was
released only on World of Mugen (and not by e-mail).
Both ReACtOrZ and I advertised the
release on TESTP in different topics (which I continued
for a bit until I finally got used to ReACtOrZ
doing the release stuff, I remember my "and my next WiP
is..." post I posted at TESTP and the is...
was a site link to check out my next WiP - not a WiP
picture post, This was after the release of Majin
Buu I think. It was a good post because it increased
site hits to see what was next. At the time most
people just put pics on their site and linked to them
instead of go to my site to find out...) Nothing new
to begin with but I had planned to add in the Energy
Drain type attack but I released him before finding
the lifeadd
trigger. This was the first "update"
character
after I found the lifeadd
trigger and did the
Energy Drain attack. This was the beginning of what I
called the "Pow Wows" and it started with the
discussion of "how do you add life to a character's
lifebar?".
This topic started AFTER I released Cell
but before I found the lifeadd trigger. I also feel I
need to state that I never started these "pow wows"
but I always thought it was odd how they related to
what
I was doing in my characters. I still think it
is odd, and you? Now for a story... Maruta also
appeared
in this topic and when I found out the
lifeadd trigger I e-mailed him about it. He e-mailed
back that he had found it earlier (I think he said 5am
but it could have been 9am). I e-mailed him back
noticing
the difference in our time zones and told him
that I had found it out at 5PM (or 9PM) that day so
technically
we sort of found it the same time but he
was the first because he found it at 5am (or 9am). I
never talked to Maruta before or since but it was
fun that time. I also thought that maybe if there was
an earthquake or something at 9PM my time I
might be able to warn him before 9PM his time but then
I was just thinking silly (like I usually do). I
didn't even know Maruta had made any characters (or
helped
someone who made characters more
correctly); I just thought it was good to talk to
someone
that was a half day away. On TESTP I also
felt this "you shouldn't post any codes" feeling on the
board. One time however there was a person
(Willoughby Jackson I believe) that posted a problem so
I asked him if he could
e-mail
me back
about it and he said "no" because he was at
work and might get caught so I
asked him if he could
post the coding then and he did on the TESTP
forum and I helped him out
with it. That was one of
the first times that coding was put up on the
board. Sorrowedge usually made
"e-mail me for the code"
posts when he figured something new out. In the
first release he has
the steady powerup like in the
original game (but
no button powerup. I put the code inside the cmd file
because it didn't seem right
in the cns file in the -2 states. The good old days [or
were they?]. The docs
of MUGEN were so
incomplete in
v01.01.2000... [The docs needed boats or was it catsup?
Perhaps a little salt maybe?
Nope it was
møøses, definitely møøses.
(or is it mëëse?)]
3. Majin Buu (Buu3 originally from Majin Buu and sb3) [sb3] - August 9, 2000
My first throw
release (but I didn't advertise it as
such).
This also marked when I did the changestate
based on if they hit the opponent then he would flop
up, if Buu missed the opponent he would just
stand after the move was over. It was one of the
dashing
moves but I can't remember the name of
it (so many names). I also played around with the
velocities
of multi-hit projectiles to tweak them to get
the full hits if possible. The throw release wasn't
that
much of a biggie to me because I had played
with it before but it was a big improvement. Also,
during
the making of Buu I was in New York City
on one day to take my grandmother to a Yankee game as
a birthday present. MUGEN is just a game
and Life comes first (and I post this quite a few times
to people but the Yankee game was my basis
for saying this - now you know). My second release at
WoM. Coding was set inside the throw
codes
just to see if others may take it. The first character
with a kind of "copy protection" that I had thought
of (I think). Just involves adding useless values to
the code and see who does or doesn't read the docs
and just "copies" from others. Anims still messed up
(and would be until my big update in october I
believe). Buu3 (Majin Buu) is a predominantly
projectile
character. The little toss move was added in
later on (2001). I believe this is the character where
I started releasing "patches" to convert to use with
new MUGEN (v06.27.2000). Honest, v06.27.2000 MUGEN was
released in July 2000 and didn't have
many people using it until v07.31.2000 added the random
select mode. I don't think it was much
because of the "Storm scare" that others didn't just
go to new MUGEN with their characters but it was
more a case of "everything is for v01.01.2000 MUGEN and
those don't work with v06.27 and later
versions" so many of us went with "patching the
characters"
until more characters were available.
Mhz's Autofix program was and is a godsend for this.
Note also, during this time was a post at TESTP by
another creator named Thundergod who was working on his Spiderman at
the time. Like many of us
at TESTP, he wanted something unique and he had thought of doing the
'web slinging' differently. So
for several weeks we both hammered out a code using angledraw, Atan (we knew side a and b but not
side c's distance which led to
a discussion about logs and square roots and trigonometry and such.
It also led to a discussion on SC
values since the trig
functions could result in division
by zero. SC
values are values that are
undefined in MUGEN and would cause a crash / error. Also a
discussion on
converting radians to degrees
since MUGEN uses radians by
design in the trig
functions. Which
brought up the use of pi and
more coding discussions..., by this time, Thundergod and myself were
about the only posters in this topic since it was pretty much
mathematically over most people's
heads at this point). This post was funny too because NeoGouki
popped in and said "hi" and I asked
if he wanted to join in and he said something like "Nah, way too much
math for me" then disappeared.
But we did get a version working only to find out that it was TOO MUCH
math and caused a slow
down making it more choppier animation wise than if just using several
disconnected sprites. So the
angledraw coding was dropped
(but a couple others used it for 'cannon' type launching projectiles).
But it created a HUGE interest at TESTP in the character release. Pow
Wow at TESTP, "How to
make a character
do something one way if they hit the opponent and
another
way if they miss."
4. 20 (Dr. Gero) [sb1] - August 12, 2000
Nothing new except sprites. He had the Energy Drain
type
attack from the first release though.
Another note is that the shotgun sound and the original
laser beam were from different sources
other than the game itself (shotgun sound still
remains).
The energy drain attack sound was
made using what is known as modulation. I took the
sound
and raised the pitch by increasing
the frequency (Hz) to make the higher/lower sounding
"bee" sound. The new move was the
"shoot 'em in the back" shotgun blast that originally
was done by removing the clsn2 boxes
to make
him invulnerable during the move. Very cheap and
underhanded
especially when you could do
it again and again... Great Broli/Psycho Shredder
killer.
Since been reworked to use playerpush
but Android 20 was released during the golden age of
"cheap" - DarkMasterS' Onslaught/PS/
Satan-Son... My contribution to cheapness. Now time for
the uncentered sprite story. The reason
why I started going to sprites centered on the front
foot is because like that (as opposed to
centered like Elecbyte suggests) is because DBZ is
becoming
airborn and aligning sprites by the
front foot makes them pivot opposed to flip around.
Pivoting
looks more natural so I went with
that. At the time there were (and still are really)
very
few characters with throws because it takes
a bit of sprite editing to get the throw pics (and I
know from experience on this, hint, hint...).
Now since more throws are being used I am going back
to centered sprites again (now as in at
the present time not now as in starting back when with
this charcter but as in around August 2001.
Someone also commented on being able to spin around and
bypass getting hit because of the
non-centered alignment. I didn't really think or know
about uncentered in that way but that is
also another side effect. The reason was because of
aesthetics
- appearance issues). Pow wow
discussion "How do you get your player past [passed]
the opponent without pushing the opponent?"
5. Android 16 [sb1] - August 15, 2000
Later became a supposed thorn in other people's
sides.
Why? I don't really know but here's another
story... Android 16 didn't take too long to do (14
hours
all together) but I took a short cut in the
Rocket Punch move to speed up the first release. Later
in october/november I reworked the
Rocket Punch codes. TESTP Pow Wow "Boomerang
Projectiles."
Also, I believe that at this time is
when Gatlinger asks "how do you do a multi-hit
projectile?"
and I explain it sort of like I did above
in my Bojack discussion (with the Numhits doesn't work
like projhits does wording)
but then El Cliente posts some "you messed
that up" nonsense and posts crap that made no sense to what Gatlinger
had
posted. A portal into things to come... The first
release
contained the opposite sign to make the projectile
appear to come back but it wasn't a true "boomerang
type
projectile". The boomerang codes came out
in my coding frenzy of october/november 2000 and the
reworked version of the Rocket Punch took 2
hours (really an hour and a half with a half hour of
beta testing it). The only bug was at first I didn't
have the time trigger and the projectile hung at the
edge one time. The code was very simply done and
didn't have the nothitby
nor the hitoverrides because
Android 16's Rocket Punch didn't need them.
Android 16's hand was indestructible (so to speak) so
it didn't require any clsn2 boxes.
I posted this
code on Mugen Dev forum in november 2000 in the coding
section. I believe it may still be there
(maybe not). The commotion, I don't know but the
reaction
from Kirby was "well, I decided not to do
a boomerang projectile now" and later on Sunboy said
something to the effect of (not actual quote)
"when you posted that up at Mugen Dev it was like
slapping
us in the face". I had waited 3 months for
the rest of them to get off their duffs and research
helpers. They didn't so I did.
Helpers are what
drives the revised Rocket Punch. I used the
incompat.txt
(not imcompt2.txt) and saw the reference to
helpers in
that. I had seen bigotry before towards DBZ
in MUGEN but this character really started
"ferreting" out the bigots. At one time (after the
release
of the revised Rocket Punch codes) this was
"the most hated" character in MUGEN. Then came the Li'l
Gohan crack about sprite number, then
came Ginyu, then came Recoome... Android 16 was the
first
most hated though... Why? You figure
it out. It took myself and a few others 6 months to
flush
these guys out. Why? Because a group of
[censored] bigots hate DBZ (and a group not ALL).
That is why. Makes me wanna use the N
word honestly. A friend of mine [censored himself]
actually
did use the N word when he saw their
posts
(along with the word stupid in front of the N word).
Then along came Majin SSJ6 Goku and
their
tones changed all of a sudden. But, oh well... Racism
is racism and my friend knows I'm seen
more as
a "savage" than a "[censoredy]" in the real world but
even
he saw the racism. Just my spin
on events
though not like it is reality.
6. Dabura [sb3] - August 23, 2000
The downward projectile and the "freeze" move. The
Sword
Cannon was the odd move but I didn't get
it to work quite right until november 2000. It used to
go down VERY SLOWLY and then disappear
WAY above the stage. I could have remedied it by using
offset and making the sprite
low in the .sff
file but by waiting I found the projheightbound value
that allowed the downward movement passed the
"zero line" without exploding. The Spit Ball launched
a projectile which "froze" the opponent when it hit
for either 6 seconds or until hit by you. This didn't
use a palfx like the recent
version does (gray stone effect). The
recent
palette changing version of the Spit Ball move was lifted pretty much
from
the NEW
MUGEN docs which tells how to make a black and white
palette. The recent version also uses a p2 custom state (throw) which
is
more suited to this move than a straight forward projectile is. This is
a "projectile throw" type
move now but was originally just a projectile
move with a BIG pausetime in
it.
One of Dabura's moves still uses the sprite skip to
make
him move during a move. Dabura was the last
character I offset the sprites to do this with. Pow wow
at TESTP was "How do you make projectiles go
other than straight across?"
7. Gotenks SSJ3 [HD] - September 1, 2000
This character was a dramatic improvement in MUGEN
for
me. Hyper Dimension characters have
more sprites and more moves but also look odd since
most
have bent over postures that make them
look like they have bad backs. I remember ReACtOrZ
making
his personal icon from the Galactic
Donut frames. I learned palfx from Gotenks. I also did
the Rolling Attack (I believe it was in the
anime as Rolling You Attack though). The key to getting
this one to work was making a gap between
the clsn1 and clsn2
boxes so that Gotenks wouldn't push
the opponent out of the way while rolling
along on a multi-hit attack. The animations from the
Rolling attack came from another move (actually
the jump top anim rotated 3 ways) and I took the
animation
and rotated it in PSP to get the 4 different
rotations for the move. I also learned to copy Majin
Buu's move into this one for the Rolling Thunder
Uppercut. Gotenks was a sort of cut and paste code from
other stuff I had done before. (The Galactic
Donuts move was pasted from Dabura as well). I started
getting recognized with this release and started
getting many e-mails asking me to "help" (well, they
asked for "help" but really wanted someone to do
it all for them). TESTP also was on its last legs (it
would die on the 8th or 9th I believe of September).
After TESTP closed down I started getting 12 to 17
e-mails
each day asking for "how to" and "would
you fix this" and mainly "Please can you convert this
to new MUGEN for me?". I didn't mind the mail
at all but many of the requests took a while to do
leaving
me with less time and less patience as well. I
was really running myself (and ReACtOrZ as well)
ragged.
Most of the time was not in doing the stuff
but in e-mailing it back over a 56K (48000 really)
connection.
Gotenks was pretty much a coding rehash
for me except the palfx
in the Galactic Donuts. I also
added the if your power level is higher you get
more for the energy (Kamikaze Ghost Attack and Shine
Missile). Also, this is where I used palfx
for the
first time (in the Galactic Donuts move) but the
Galactic
Donuts was an update of the original release I
believe. The animations for the Volleyball smash are
in there (as well as the air win pose) but are
still unused. Why unused? Because I have done so many
oddly coded moves that I wish to leave
that for someone else to figure out eventually. A year
later I post help on the ZGTeam forum so that
Cyanide can finally be the one that does that move (I
posted the coordinates as
well as a description as
to how it should be done but Cyanide HAD to do the
coding
himself which means it is HIS codes and
not mine for once. Terrific!). I also stated at one
time
that I always thought the move looked odd
since in the Volleyball Smash part you bounced off the
side of the screen and most stages look
"open" making it look odd. Volleyball Smash is a nice
and different type of move (DBZ games have
many odd and different moves), just not for me. Nothing
really new though. In the Pow wow
department (the last ones at TESTP) were 2 new ones,
"How do I get my character to go below the
floor (MK)?" and "How do I do Fatalities (MK)?"
8. Li'l Gohan [Sega] - September 8, 2000
Released still on World of MUGEN but released just
as
TESTP closes up their popular forum and
revert back to Bravenet. This was really released on
NiteTek before the "Storm hunt down and
kill missions". The post was "Rare DBZ character..."
and then a pic of Li'l Gohan. Many people had
been posting "rare DBZ this and rare DBZ that..." but
this character WAS a rare find. Many
people had asked if a "baby Gohan with the dragonball
on his head" character could be made
but I kept saying "from what sprites?" I was playing
around with the Sega game in story mode
and lost a match. Lo and behold out comes "baby Gohan"
so I take screen shots in Genecyst
and sent one to ReACtOrZ that night. The next day I
ripped
the character and compiled all the
sprites (about 6 hours) then some other time (about 2
hours) going through old episodes looking
for sounds and moves. Problem was that the pic was big
and the character was small. Pow wow
on NiteTek, "How do you make a character smaller?". The
post started AFTER the post about "how
did you get him so small?" in the release topic. I left
shortly after joining NiteTek though because I
just couldn't stand Storm at all and his constant
"everyone
sux but me" junk (sound familiar?). I also
saw all those stupid posts by Storm in the Help Forum
after Necro posted "I'm going on vacation for
a couple weeks" and also during this vacation there
were
posts by The Necromancer (in name only
I believe) saying how "correct" Storm was. This made
no sense to me and I got very tired of Storm
messing up posts by posting garbage that was useless
like "watch your capitalization in your select.def"
junk. It made things more difficult in the help area
of NiteTek and I also could see Storm "flaming
mad" that I (a DBZ person) was correcting him "in
public".
So it started... Then came the post by his
"buddies" about "DBZ sux" and my post afterwards about
"Can't we all just get along..." and Storm's
"I ought to ban every DBZ person on the board" and my
"I boycott this place..." Then Storm popped
up at TESTP Bravenet and I bashed him badly including
many funny posts such as "Silent Delusion"
and the "Toilet Scrubber" posts to name a few. Then
Storm
went to Dev where he was greeted with
open arms by most of the staff and NASTY flames by
myself.
But back to Li'l Gohan. He was a
really short character and not a real "fighting"
character
from one of the games. The main problem
was trying to get 14
sprites to look like a real
character
(not an easy task). There weren't any posts at
the time about "How many sprites to make a character?"
but in retrospect it kind of started the
"how many" discussion. I got replies like "10% done"
and "beta?" but he was and is finished. The
real Gohan with the dragonball on his head only had 2
moves other than punch and kick same as
this one. But with 14 sprites (and 5 VERY CRUDDY hand
drawn sprites) I needed to make the
kicks/punches, walks, get hits, jumps, crouches, intro,
win, and 2 special moves. The tough part
in coding was the Energy Shield (cruddy) attack.
Because
of the way MUGEN works in the
guarding state, I had to rework the code many times to
get the damage to register when blocked.
A few releases didn't have damage in them for blocks
on the Energy Shield move. The other
part was the sprite size (way bigger than most
characters
and even a bit larger than Capcom
SF size scale-wise). Took me 8 hours start to finish
with about 4 hours on the stupid Energy
Shield move added later after the first release until
now - drawing those crappy Shield graphics
took 1 of those 8 hours too. Was released as a
v01.01.2000
version and a v06.27.2000 version,
each different (the Energy Shield in the 01 version had
colored lines but wasn't solid, while the
06 version was solid and brown (yellow with ,A in the
air file)). My first Sega char as well. The
sprites are all recolored too since the original
sprites
were not colored well (done in December
2000). Also I added the channel = 0 to the playsnd
value
of his Head Butt Attack making this
the first "move" I used channel = 0 on (I did use
channel
= 0 for the power up sounds at the time).
Li'l Gohan is also still the only character to use ONLY
a steady power up (like in sb1 games).
Li'l Gohan could never control his power in the show
and can't in the MUGEN char either.
But this is a 'mini' character that uses MUGEN's built-in scaling codes.
9. Android 18 [sb1] - September 13, 2000
Nothing really of note here. The Butt bounce (or
whatever)
was an up and over type move but
nothing here worth noting. Android 18 was my next
release
slated after Gotenks but I happened
across Li'l Gohan playing around in story mode of the
Genesis game and thought "This is a rare
opportunity for something different" and a couple
people
had asked if someone would do a
Gohan with the Dragonball on his head character before.
Li'l Gohan had me put Android 18
on the shelf for an extra day.
9 1/2. The coding (and update) flurry of october/november 2000
During this time I added the fly codes, adjusted
damage
values, reworked the power up
coding,
reworked sound coding,
redid clsn boxes, did the power
reset coding (set power to zero at the beginning
of every round), added afterimages to dashing attacks,
guard.sparkno = -1. I claimed
at one time that it
was the war with Storm that created the flurry. Not
true.
"Well then, what started it?" I had a
conversation on Mugen Dev forum with a person asking
if I could redo some things in my Hyper Buu
to make him more playable between 2 people. The most
notable request was the "could you redo the
powering up part?" that he asked about each time and
each time I resisted a bit but Squallleonheart kept
asking if I could in a well thought out way. I got his
e-mail and sent him some reworks of the power
code for 2 to 4 days (been a while) but the last
version
is the version that I use now where the sound
stops when the button is released and the sound starts
when the button is pressed AND when the
player gets hit the SOUND STOPS - a first at that time.
Squallleonheart got me to think a little bit
more about gameplay than just piling in wild and
different
codes like I had been doing. Storm was
really just a coincidence and his "cockiness" didn't
really make me "get off my duff and code better".
Squallleonheart did that and oddly enough also is that
Squallleonheart is a good friend of Storm as well.
During this time I also have strictly DBZ MUGEN only
but I have converted some non-DBZ characters
from old to new. Around late November 2000 I started
grabbing as many characters as I could and
converted the old characters to new MUGEN because I
started
getting many requests for many different
characters (Gundam Wing, etc.) . At this time (2002)
I have probably from 1200 to 1300 different
characters and nearly as many backgrounds plus numerous
(around 15 or more) screenpacks all divided
up into original game directories to make it easier to
keep track of them all. [Who said that about rabbits? Well, I never,
(at
least not on a saturday)].
10. Hyper Buu [HD] - October 1, 2000
Big release. Candy Munch - yum, yum. Using a p2
custom
state and a blank anim
to blank out
the opponent. The coding is messed up internally (and
intentionally - not mistyped) to prevent others
from "figuring" out how it works. Chew 'em up and spit
'em out (:lol). Later someone said that there
was a character named Fernandeath that had done a chew
you up move before but it wasn't
advertised in the "english world" of MUGEN. Still was
a biggie for ME, MYSELF and I. I had
said to myself as well that if I couldn't pull this off
I might as well give up on Hyper Buu because
without the Candy Munch Buu is kinda lame to me. I also
made the Candy Munch a 10,000
damage murderer (and at first a 2950 power drainer then
down to 2100 then now up to 5,000
- my highest now since it's instakill on steroids). The
Candy Munch is great for those you TRULY
hate. Just avoid them, build up power then chew them
up and spit them out. This is also when I
make new MUGEN only characters and I don't supply
v01.01
characters anymore. The Buu Bomb
was another move but it used a stationary projectile
with the ,A in the air file
for transparency.
Other moves were the 3-way and multi (5-way)
projectiles.
Lots of new stuff piled in for good
measure. Was my best release until Ginyu (maybe still
is, I don't
care).
11. Complete Cell [sb1] - October 13, 2000
There's a Perfect Cell in sb1? To get the secret
characters
in sb1 you need to enter a code. Many
thought there were only the 8 characters in sb1 and
that
the other 5 you had to get by fighting in
story mode. Kakaroto had done a sb1 Trunks but that
wasn't
available too long after I had
started myself (around August 2000) so many didn't know
that existed. Nothing spectacular here
either but he did have the beam AND projectile at the
same time in the Super Makenkansuoppo.
Text intros start becoming popular because of
EmuBoarding's
Trunks around this time. I had
experimented before with a different type of text intro
(using explod for EACH
letter) but decided
to scrap it because "what language would I use?" and
I don't want 50,000,000 e-mails asking to
do the intro in portuguese, etc. If I was doing a stand
alone game fine. I'm not, so nope, no way,
no how. ReACtOrZ goes with AniGifs on the characters
page of World of Mugen with this
release. No more screen shots but now little AniGifs
on the site that you can play with. Cool!!!
12. Kid Gohan SSJ1 [sb1] - October 16, 2000
4 days? The multi-hit punch attack was different in
that
I used numhits and made the hitdefs take
a little longer to hit so that you didn't need a
counter
type move to break the many hits. Later this
was the character that I uploaded as a demo to explain
to Sunboy what I meant by multi-hit
beam
attacks
(Sunboy said he had one in Cyclops, honest).
Kid Gohan SSJ1 was the one I broke away
from using Bojack as a Guinea Pig for. He had 2 beams
(Kamehameha and Masenko). This was
in January at the start of the Sunboy wars at
M.U.G.E.N.
Being forum. Multi-hit HitDef,
yahoo!.
I had put the idea aside and forgot about it for quite
a while but brought it back up when thinking
about Mega Piccolo for some reason. I then went shoot,
use vars (and I didn't use varadd in the
beginning either because I didn't think of that yet).
I used an "accumulator"
{<- coding and math
word for add one (or how ever many) to itself then
resetting
the adder and adding more later on}.
Thus came the growth of modern coding for me. My
stationary
projectile coding worked but
wasn't what I was wanting. With the HitDef, the move
wasn't cancelable (unless you hit the
character themselves, hint, hint) with a projectile and
also I could adjust the pausetime to make it
more life-like (life-like being if the move doesn't
connect
then the move is short but if the move
connects it gets drawn out. Why waste energy doing
something
that didn't work opposed to "I got
them; let's nail 'em"). By not using a clsn2 in the
beam
itself, the beam itself became uncancelable
yet the character had the clsn2 box so the character
had to be hit and NOT the beam. See also
27 255/256 (mega Gohan) for a coding update on this.
This was done before though using
pausetime in the hitdef
(or projdef) There had to be
a way to make multi-hit HitDefs
and I found
it. Yahoo! Kid Gohan SSJ1 was kind of lackluster though.
13. Cell Genesis [Sega] - October 26, 2000
I started slowing down. ReACtOrZ was also having
problems
and didn't have as much time so many
times the World of Mugen site was a few days without
updates. Didn't bother me though but I was
kind of cranky because of the Storm wars. Cell Genesis
was my first REAL Sega attempt. He didn't
have much but getting the Makenkansuoppo (Special Beam
Cannon) to work right was different
(using projectile
not HitDefs). Well, he also
was the
first "guarding type" projectile
I did as well.
Originally, I used a helper
which allowed projectiles
to pass right through the Energy Wall but if the
other character moved into the Energy Wall they would
get hurt. I later changed it to a stationary
projectile
move. Not much here either. Well, I do
translate
the p2dist trigger into the
beam attack with
this release to make the clouds appear where the
character
is standing. Why so long? I hadn't thought
about using it in an Explod.
I had only thought of it
in the cmd on throws and the
energy drain/zapper
attacks. The difference between p2dist and p2bodydist?
well, one uses the center point as the point and
the other uses the center point and the WIDTH
perameter.
If you wish to know which is which then
"Read the Docs!" This sort of becomes one of my cries
to people. Not because of mistakes or "easy"
questions but because I start seeing an overabundance
of copied stuff since "Necro does it this way".
I start trying to preach about doing it yourself and
the benefits of it but I'm blind (physically and
metaphysically) and the community is deaf
(metaphysically
squared). Well, physically I'm blind and
people think I'm an idiot (blind to the world) and you
can't hear anything through a message board on
the net you "see" it (aka deaf) and deaf as in can't
seem to listen outside your own world (meta deaf
squared). Easy is the word. Necro immortalizes this
with
Broli (a rehash of an existing character).
Heck, most of MUGEN starts becoming rehashes about this
time (and wanting full credit too).
Everyone "doing it" is not directly The Necromancer's
fault but I start seeing Necro take credit for
stuff that isn't really his. This starts to upset me
so I send a very child-like letter (sounding like an 8 to
10 year old) asking Necro about it. For a short while
Necro posts that it isn't his fly code but sort of
diasappears except to post how to copy so and so's code
into "my" stuff posts in the help forums (and
there are a lot of these posts now which I try to
ignore
or post my "you are missing the fun of
discovery" type posts). World of Mugen is still around
for this release. I remember because it was
around holloween and I had been using a pic of myself
(a real pic) on the boards. I was going to change
to the pic you see at the top of the pages on the
boards
on holloween night saying "look, I've taken off
my mask" (going from a real pic to the cartoon pic) but
alas my phone company messed up and it was
a couple days before it got straightened out so I
missed
that one. World of Mugen is gone later on (I
think ReACtOrZ leaves in mid December). razorgolem
takes
over the message board and cbronner
does the site (for about a month). ReACtOrZ said he had
some major personal problems come up and
he had to leave because he no longer had any time any
more. I also know that he used to get some
really obnoxious e-mails from some of the World of
Mugen
inhabitants. I still wish him well but with
this I now had to do my own site adding to the extra
load. I chose Angelfire because it was 50MBs and
seemed stable enough. Angelfire lasted until February
2001 when I moved to Fateback and FortuneCity
then on to FortuneCity by itself (March 2001) where I
now reside (and am happy as well :) ). Why
bring it up now? Because of the holloween story. I also
started using Angelfire at this time to hold the
images that I posted on the message boards (and a small
site as well). Can someone say REALLY
CRANKY!!!!!!! [Really cranky? Nope gues snot <---
typo
or word play, I'll decide. ca-ching.
Heads. Oh drats, typo. {"it's really word play"} Quiet
you or I'll post your aaaarrrgggghhhh.
Well, maybe I won't post it then. Alright?].
14. Goku SSJ1 [sb1] - November 1, 2000
Nothing new. Rehash city and sprite replace. Learned
EnvShake
doing the intro.
15. Vegeta SSJ1 [sb1] - November 7, 2000
Same as above. Boring... (but needed to be done).
15 1/2. Matt Hannon - December 2000/January 2001
During this period there came an individual calling
themselves
Matt Hannon. He actually was/is/will be
Matt Hannon. This is a very BAD incident that reflects
VERY POORLY on the MUGEN community.
Matt Hannon was an individual who had shut down several
people's MUGEN sites and threatened to
shut down more of them in his "crusade against stealing
from the 'real' companies." If you are going to
make a point go after the "big names" to do it.
NeoGouki, and many, many others had
their sites shut
down and/or hacked. Before this time
I had said that I would "never post at Dev(il) forum
again". But
this became a special case and I felt
I had to try something. What had happened was
someone had
used an internet connection program to see
who was online at Dev forum when Matt Hannon
logged
in and then trace the ip. Problem is that
you can't be sure that someone else isn't
"faking" an ip as well.
There is a foolproof way to
mask
your ip address so that this program sees you as
something else (ask a
few who use it to get passed
the EZ-Board ip banning. You should know who these
individuals are...).
Also, there is another
(however
slim) chance that a person has logged off and
another may just log on to
get the previous person's
ip address. Anyway, Jin logs on to Dev forum and
makes a couple posts then
leaves. Another person logs
on a while AFTER Jin has left and uses Jin's ip
address. My guess is that
Matt Hannon masked his ip to
frame whoever (Jin happened to be whoever).
I will tell you now also
that on day two of my finding
out about Matt Hannon I figure out who he
REALLY is. Matt Hannon is
REALLY an old TESTP motoslave
poster who used the handle
Steve Bannon on TESTP's forum. I
talked to Steve Bannon
a couple times and possibly once by
e-mail (his e-mail was
mhannon640@aol.com and I
remembered
because of the Hannon/Bannon
rhyme there - maybe
mhannon 604 but I'm pretty sure
640).
The real Matt Hannon also has a hacking
handle he goes by
(The Incredible Hulk) Which the
Hulk's
secret identity is Steve Bannon. Make sense
now?
Hannon/Bannon/Hulk. I also know that if I post
what
the true identity of Matt Hannon is that
many will make the situation worse by trying to "get
revenge". Which is why I waited until around
november 2001 and then start revealing the TRUE answer.
At the Dev forum (around january 2001)
I post how it is Deux, Dark Sun, and Silent Storm
behind
this "Matt Hannon" thing. I mean shoot it all
makes sense right? Storm really had nothing to do with
Matt Hannon and ACTUALLY tried to help a
couple who had been affected out by giving them web
space,
but by me saying "Storm", it was more of
a rant against "the enemy" than any REAL facts (which
was true). I believe Deux may have (and
probably still does) know the identity of Matt Hannon
and his involvement with trying to frame Jin
really ticks me off. Deux had previously made some
deals
with Steve Bannon on TESTP to get some
"hentai" characters (which Deux's weakness was porno).
Deux left a little while after the Hannon
incident ended as well. Dark Sun(boy) is a big "let's
hang Jin" fanatic as well. After my BIG "Matt
Hannon is Storm, Deux, Dark Sun" post, I get a bunch
of "nitpickers" trying to dissect my false
accusations. This was my plan (in a round about way).
I post utter nonsense, they "nitpick" at the
nonsense, I expose that their evidence is faulty, they
laugh about it and don't try to look at the truth.
Now, this "plan" isn't going to get Jin "off the hook"
but it will give a distraction for a while from the
constant Jin is the anti-christ Matt Hannon flaming.
In order to get Jin off the hook I would have had to
post the truth which would mean BIG TROUBLE and even
more MUGEN site closings and such after
a "hacker war" broke out in which everyone loses. By
waiting until november AFTER the anger
subsided it became safe for the truth. Back in january
2001 it would have meant DISASTER and many
more innocent people would have gotten hurt in a
"revenge
war". I also believe that Matt Hannon
knows I knew who he was and probably got a big kick out
of my "Matt is Storm..." post I did. Comedy
CAN WORK WONDERS on people. Matt disappeared shortly
after that post. I think Matt also realized
that I knew who he really was and remembered him (he
didn't post much except a couple requests - one
being Yohko's site url and another being Shadow
Watcher's
site url and a couple Hi Deux posts "out of
the public's eye" and some long rants LIKE [not exactly
like but similar in writing style] RRRRRR
made about how MUGEN is stealing copyrighted stuff and
IS ILLEGAL...). As far as Storm, Deux and
Dark Sun... I'm not sorry in the least for falsely
accusing
ANY of them. Storm did however try to help
people out in earnest and didn't really deserve my
drawing
him in like that. It made a good laugh though
(and in the rebuttals I made to the nitpickers some
truth
came through as well saying that 'they are just
believing someone who's evidence is very questionable'
and 'unless you were the one who ACTUALLY
got the evidence PLEASE DO NOT SAY YOU KNOW when you
obviously DO NOT know anything
other than what SOMEONE else says...' The main someone
else seemed to be Deux. Dark Sun also
was being a jerk as well (normal then as it still is
now...). Storm I hate(d). This is not really the story
but more the explanation to CLOSE this chapter of
MUGEN's
long history of "flame the wrong person".
Speaking of which, why do other "coders" seem to try
to say "Gohan can't code" up until I post "Yeah,
right, try doing it yourself WITHOUT using codes as
a BASE or ALTERING from them." They
then disappear for a bit then TRY IT AGAIN. Then comes
phase II which involves me saying "If I
can't code then where is the coding coming from?" or
"What bugs? - Explain please.". This history page,
the old Rant page, and the Design page all sprang up
from this stupidity.
My character's moves have many things unique to only them so they are stolen from?
Bugs? When do they crash or not behave properly?
Against
Sunboy's Cyclod (piece of badly coded
[blank]), that explains it. Try using a REAL character
and
see if it happens. What? you did and it didn't
happen. Must be something else then huh? Idiots. Then
the "well, I'm a coder and I use debug mode."
And my "you are more likely not reading the docs
properly
and CAN'T CODE if you rely on debug
mode to 'get you through'". I rely on knowledge. Do my
moves work? Then what's the REAL problem?
Jealousy that you didn't discover it first? I don't
code
through debug mode and HONESTLY most I
know, that use debug mode when coding, use (or more
likely
steal) other people's coding. EVERY
TIME. My throw moves work well (better than all of the
'naysayers') and lately I bashed HBK via
e-mail on Sunboy's post of stupidity about my throw
moves.
During Recoome, Sunboy stated that the
p2 Bindtime
error caused the character to "float on
top"
when thrown. Now, I recently told HBK
(3-5-2002) to try a couple things in Recoome. First
change
state 900,1 the line sprpriority
from -1 to
just plain 1 (remove the negative sign). Now run
Recoome again, does the opponent appear BEHIND
Recoome now? Now, in state 920,4 change the velset x
and y values from .25 each to zero each. Does
the "floating" stop? It does? (sarcasm) Must be my
mistake
then and not yours... (/sarcasm) I also told
HBK he's listening to the WRONG people and asked him
to answer 3 questions or else not to bother
e-mailing me again. He didn't answer ANY of the 3
questions
but e-mailed me about how "crappy" my
stuff was. I don't have to say this but really look at
the amount of time and the lack of quality in his
Batman, Austin, and Mike. I'm really sweating his
opinion
fer sure. (Hahaha). Of course Mike does
have Jin and AngelMyst coding in it, otherwise...
Heartburn
Kid (and Ragnarok, Soldats, etc.) show me
da money or better yet shut it until ANY of you can...
(WITHOUT STEALING OR TAKING FROM
OTHERS' IDEAS...). Bleating sheep...
[But honest, it is my code. See the hoofprint right
next
to Gohan's coding. That proves it is mine. Gohan
doesn't use a hoofprint. I do. "You may now
møøse
da bride".]
Note to others... If you ask I usually try to
explain.
If you try to accuse me of something, you make a
fool out of yourself. Try asking first, OK. Most things
and decisions on my characters are easy to
understand if you think of them as "strategy" type
characters
and not "fighters". My characters are
made for decision making and not reflexes. Mine aren't
"press a then b then c combos" but are designed
for which move should I use for this or that situation.
Should I stay with more basic moves or try
gaining more power (but become vulnerable trying to
build
up power). I understand why many "don't
like the gameplay". It is because most fighting games
revolve around reflexes on the buttons instead of
actually picking a move to do (making a logic choice).
Try to think of it this way. In the DB shows
(DB/Z/GT) does Goku usually win by (A) punching/kicking
really fast or (B) by using his head to decide
which move he knows may be appropriate for the
situation
he is in (or create a new technique)? I made
DBZ characters NOT fighting game characters. Although
DBZ does fight it is more STRATEGY
oriented leaning away from button mashing and more
towards
move strategy which is why most *ahem*
Capcom users can't figure DBZ out. It is based on
THOUGHT
not REFLEXES. Thank you... (85% of
all stupidity seems to stem from this and this is why
I prefer most other games to Capcom games. I'm
not a sugar-eating, button-mashing three year old. I
prefer to think problems through rather than just
reflex actions. I also like games to last and not to
be so damaging that the match is over in 3 seconds or
less. Most Capcom MUGEN characters cause WAY too much
damage to be enjoyable to either play
against or play as for me. I've seen many Capcom
characters
end a match in 6 moves or less AND in
less than 8 seconds. Not good at all. There's no
gameplay
in that, just win/lose in a short period of time.
Games should LAST a while I think. I prefer kuzu-bei's
Broli to the v06.27 Necro Broli. Much more
'balance' to kuzu-bei's Broli. This is such a
broken
record issue record issue record issue record
issue...).
[I wish Gohan would push that needle on the record
player
over player over player over...]
16. Mega Piccolo [Sega] - January 3, 2001
This was my first release in a long time without
World
of Mugen and ReACtOrZ.
A new step up (and now my own site as well). I did the
x,y combo system in Mega
Piccolo first. And
then the Energy Drain type attack (again), 2 beams,
etc.
Oh yeah and the double kick attack
where he
fire kicks forward and then back afterwards for another
attack. Most attacks are the same in some
way shape or form. This was released about the start
of the Sunboy wars. Also, after this is the
Willoughby Jackson "crusade". In this crusade
Willoughby
hassles DBZ people (not all people) who
Willoughby thinks are suspicious or MIGHT be stealing.
This culminates in a post by DJ Kakaroto at
NiteTek forum. Willoughby accuses DJ Kakaroto of
stealing
sprites when in reality DJ Kakaroto had
e-mailed SSJ Trunks (who ran the site the sprites
appeared
on) and had recieved permission to
advertise for a coder for some characters on the site
that had "I'm looking for a coder for these"
underneath the pics. Willoughby makes an arse out of
himself then goes back and edits his posts later
on to not sound like the arse he was. I still do not
like Willoughby because he doesn't seem to "check
things out" before jumping the gun most of the time.
Of course I get accused of jumping the gun but I
end up being correct about jumping both Willoughby and
Necro about this "crusade" (especially since
Necro is so freaking guilty of "copying" stuff which
is so hypocritical of the "crusade against copying in
DBZ"). I could go on for days as far as how messed up
this [blank] was but it is pretty stupid. I tried
MANY times to reason with Willoughby and get him to use
some "common sense" on this.
My points:
1) This is a MUGEN issue not just DBZ. Please try to
make
this a more universal crusade and
not a "witch hunt" against any group in particular.
Willoughby's
answer: No. I hate DBZ now.
2) Copying is really "stealing" as I believe you are
saying. Please use "use without permission" because
copying with permission is fine with me and the other
creators so long as they have permission.
Answer: No. I'll still use copying (this did change in
march/april 2001 though after Kaga and Rone
cornered Willoughby again on this).
3) Please ask people if they have permission first
before
you go accusing them in public of
stealing (or "using without permission" which is what
I ask to be used instead of "stealing" because
it makes more sense and fits the description better).
Answer: DJ Kakaroto incident involving
Talon19 coming in and insulting DJ "[blank]rotto" for
something
that wasn't DJ's fault. DJ had
asked for permission to advertise from the site runner
SSJ Trunks about promoting for the
WiPs. Should have all been handled by e-mail instead
of the big spectacle it became.
4) At the time (and still yet) there are far more
Capcom/SNK/misc
"warehouses" than DBZ
"warehouses" but this is a DBZ problem? Get off the DBZ
kick and make it more universal
so that "I" could join as well. Answer: No.
[5) No møøses? I'm insulted now!]
And on and on it went for a few months until
Willoughby
AND Necro disappeared around
May 2001. I had cornered Necro as well for his
involvement
in the "crusade" and his "copying" as
well. For some reason my popularity really plummets
(insulting
Necro? Am you is crazy d00dz.)
Because of the crusade effort though (and some other
knowledge I have) I DO NOT LIKE NECRO
NOW AT ALL. Close to hate but not quite. I just can't
trust Necro to be honest anymore and Necro
just appears to be a glory hog from others' hard work
anymore. I don't like that. In his recent "Piccolo
rework" WiP list I see all of Ssonic's Piccolo's moves
in the "to do" list section and it turns my stomach
on Necro as far as he is just using others to make
himself
look good to others. This is what the REAL
"crusade" was supposed to be against. Turns my stomach
still. That and the counter stuff which is
from Sorrowedge (Read the docs!), etc. It really isn't
Necro's Broli or Necro's Piccolo, etc. It is a
group effort but Necro gets full credit (and his readme
for Broli is very vague and I believe this is
intentional just as the kuzu-bei = beta tester [not
coder]
that appears in Piccolodb2 when quite
apparently the fly code and the dash back and forth
attack
codes - plus many others - originated from
Broli and Zangia respectively done by kuzu-bei. Beta
tester? Oh well. Turns my stomach. Mistakes
get made but it shows someone's character as to how
they
get corrected. Ted Geisel made a mistake in
his movie credits and took out full page adds to
correct
the fact that the singer [Thurl Ravenscroft -
Tony the Tiger's original "They're Great!!!" voice man]
was accidentally left off in the credits and
apologized most sincerely for the oversight. This cost
money for the adds but it wasn't about money
but about credit for what someone did. Ted Geisel made
a BIG effort to make sure that people knew
about the incident and mistake in the "How the Grinch
Stole Xmas" cartoon.). Necro's stating that the
fly codes aren't his would be free (except connection
charges) but yet never get done. I have apologized myself at times as
well
for "jumping the gun". (But I wish to say at this time as well that I
shouldn't
have really apologized to Sorrowedge or Orochi Herman
because what happened was neither mine nor their faults. [Huh?
Shouldn't
have apologized? What for?] I don't take back the apologies but I feel
I
need to explain this: Well, someone has been hacking
the forums to make it appear like Sorrowedge and
Orochi Herman are flaming people at night but changing
to non-flames by day [and they aren't on-line at night as well.
Hmmm...].
Case in point is the post Sorrowedge posted that was changed from "No
one on this forum will be able to understand this
except
O Herman" at night to "only people who
make Orochi will understand this" by day on M.U.G.E.N.
Being forum. Sorrowedge didn't change it
but I did try to apologize later to Sorrowedge for
flaming
him. 2 other posts by Sorrowedge were
messed with and 4 posts by Orochi Herman have been
messed
with as well. My guess is that someone
needs something from these people so they altered their
posts to get ME to flame the posts then changed
the posts back later on AFTER I had flamed them. I know
who was doing this but I'll let the two guys
involved in this try to figure it out. Shouldn't be too
hard. Do you (Sorrowedge and Orochi Herman)
know of anyone that may have wanted you to help them
out with coding to show up some "jerk" who
was "badmouthing" both you AND them? Think hard.
Describe
anyone you know?) Now back (yet
again) to our regularly scheduled program [whatever
that
is? The møøse clüb I believe]... Most of the
time Necro ignores correcting people posting "Necro's
fly codes" and such making me think he wants
credit for it. I have also had a few talks with Necro
and at times he seems to think they are HIS codes
as well. Plus the "Oh, I could do it if I wanted" type
post I got back at one time on Necro's taking credit
for the codes. My answer was and still is that kuzu-bei
came up with the process by himself and didn't
have the reference Necro has now. Kuzu-bei deserves the
real credit for the codes since he also came
up with the technique as well (as far as I know but
there
is that Maid San character that was around
back then - February 2000 I believe). Anyone can edit
or embellish stuff but sitting down and plowing
through the docs and using your noggin to problem solve
takes determination and a strong willingness to
solve the task at hand. Sure NOW you could derive
something
similar to kuzu-bei's codes but look
different. In reality however it would be based ON
KUZU-BEI'S
work. Would the fly codes exist now
if not for kuzu-bei? Chances are NO. I haven't seen
many
outside myself with coding talent like that
(and kuzu-bei as well and KGenjuro {who doesn't do DBZ}
and Masquer {ditto as KGenjuro} and
not too many others also - very small group here.). I
did do my OWN flying codes however not based
at all on what was done before so I do know what is
really
involved in that kind of ORIGINAL
UNDERTAKING. When Necro came back with the "I can do
it now" answer about the fly codes I
decided it was time for me to really start thinking
about
quitting. Angry with Storm then Sunboy and
SICK of Necro. Time to start packing up and heading out
but then I remember that "coding archive"
dream I had a long time ago and thought "Why not one
last shot..." because VegetaGokou asks for help.
I have since taken down the page; however, because I
really see no use in it anymore. No one wants to
do it themselves just "copy". That wasn't the purpose
of the coding page so down it came. Also, in
February 2001 I left MUGEN completely. I had been
hacked
and I was ROYALLY PO'ed at the entire
community of faceless fake name users. I know who
hacked
my EZ-Board account (and who has done
many others as well. And I also know the names of those
who also know who he is but use his hacking
skills when it suits them so they won't talk as well.)
I came back though after seeing a post by Lord Nite
and VN Artist at NiteTek forum about how things were
"different" then since I had left. I was long gone
at that time but then I thought "one last try..." so
I came back (then have left but for good this time. Just
the site and my e-mail and no more publicity...). I
can't
stand being associated with so many mindless
idiots and very few "bright spots" that never post. I
don't post now as well (except on a former MUGEN
board since gone non-MUGEN under the name TheAceMan.
[oh, the board name, you thought... fat
chance I'll say that now]) I was recently banned from
Mugen Dev as well and am very grateful to
Warpticon for finally banning me. Rules should be for
ALL and I wholeheartedly agree with that. I
broke the rules many times before at Mugen Dev but
never
got banned. Infiinma posted "why are you
banning me?" and got banned for it. I called Silent
Storm
about a quarter of all the dirty names in the
book and I never even got a warning! Not good! But that
was in october/november 2000. I'm happy
now and wish to actually retire after my last projects.
Still WAY more wrong than right in the MUGEN
community but that's everyone else's problem now.
Either
deal with a bunch of idiots or quit.
[My choice is to be a møøse and down with
peøple. Peøple make too much of a fuss about life. Us
møøses can pøøp on your new
shag carpet and care less. Such a wønderful life ït

Be a møøse!]
17. Captain Ginyu [Sega] - March 25, 2001
Tied with Hyper Buu as the longest character worked
on
at 28 hours altogether. Another thing is that
I e-mailed razorgolem during this time and he came back
with "what was that?" referring to the
Body Exchange move.
At the time (and to many still)
switching
places is very odd looking.
Mega step upwards and another problem. Others had been
working on a Body Exchange
type move
but hadn't had total success with it. Secret is that
they needed the facing
trigger to offset blah blah
blah blah... [No, realï, I heard from the
møøse
across the street that because of the coordinate
system
being based off the center
axis that if you go toward
left you subtract whereas if you go right you add.
Odd how you could use the facing trigger to say whether
a character was facing left or right and
whether you add or subtract the p2dist X coordinate
values.
Of course he is only a møøse and what
do they know about vector
and coordinate geometry
anyway?
Not much apparently.] The Body
Exchange code
also rewrites p2 vars (a no
no) but in
order to return the characters back to where they
start it had to be done. The day after release I found
a bug in the code and redid it in 4 hours to use the
yucky explods
(that remained there until recently). For
the original code I spent 8 hours on a saturday
just before release and brainstormed the code out. The
problem with the original code? p2facing
value.
Man, what a bust that was. Anyway, also in Ginyu was
the first off-screen dash move.
Talk about
piling it in again. Also the Big Fireball uses explods
to move it around before it gets sent on its way.
They remove on gethit.
The Sunboy war heats up but
Sunboy
releases SNK-Capcom. I need to state
that my releases aren't for competing but are really
just for fun. I honestly didn't try to compete with
anything Sunboy did or was trying to do. Just doing
releases
that I had said I was going to do in
October/November of 2000 in a WiP list. Of course
hardly
anyone sees the Ginyu topic because a
horde of Sunboy supporters (and the dork himself)
proceed
to flame the topic until it gets deleted from
the Dev board (not moved to the bin but deleted within
a week of it being posted). I take the high road
and DON'T flame the retards piece of crap that has
nothing
but a rework of 8in1's character change
coding in it. Compared to Sunboy's piece of crap
released
before (called Cyclops aka Cyclod)
SNK-Cap is a masterpiece because at least SNK-Cap can
walk and doesn't dance around invulnerable
like a fruitcake when computer controlled. Big flaw in
SNK-Cap = throws. SNK-Cap
looks like crap
when thrown or in a p2
custom state. Do I heckle the
tard? Nope. Why the delay in release? Try
updating 17 character's beam attacks and adding extra
anims, etc. Character updates caused the delay
and not waiting for Sunboy's release. Wait, not Sunboy,
but Myst1que. What was I thinking? I
really liked my comment on his name (that he was too
obtuse to acknowledge). I said something like
"Myst as in the myst between your ears" and he said
huh?
and pulled a stupid dictionary entry out.
Then I laughed and said "no, I'm playing on the word
mist (or vapor) you idiot." or something similar.
The 1que or "eek! a möüse" would be just too
much for his little mind so I left it at myst between the
ears... Pity really... OOPS!!! Also in this release
originally
was a bug as well. I have done many
p2 throw type moves
by now but there is a bug in the
off-screen move. No changeanim2 state so
the character stays in whatever state they are in when
attacked. Oh well, Sunboy finds something
but it isn't what it appears. It isn't really a bug but
how I wanted it. I think afterwards though that
"hey, if someone is in the Kamehameha move when hit it
would look ugly" so I do go to the
changeanim2
state. The reason is because Ssonic's (and
some others') don't have the 5000 anims in
their .sff files and disappear when hit so I didn't use
a changeanim2 to try to
compensate for these
characters but like I said about the Kamehameha bit...
Sunboy sees the copy protection however but doesn't realize it as such
(anim = in the statedef which causes the illegal action error but no
problems in gameplay since it gets ignored unless
someone
has the state in their character - very
unlikely since it is state 344 or something similar).
Eh, well, if you want it to look better against
Ssonic's characters (or SSJ Trunks or others as well)
then just semi-colon out the changeanim2
states in the throw and the off-screen move so that
those
characters don't disappear on you when
hit to go off-screen or when thrown. Just a suggestion
from an "idiot". Also, Sunboy believes he
found a HUGE bug here as well. An int/float error
appears
in debug mode so the idiot jumps on
it saying "You need to floor your vars." (not
ceil/floor
but only floor, there's also stuff in exp.txt for
"rounding" numbers to ints if one reads). I reply back
"I don't use floats in my vars
and
ALL my vars are ints".
Dopeboy throws a freaking fit
yet again... Guess what... the thing causing
the int/float "error" is not only harmless (and doesn't
affect gameplay at this time) but is also caused
by the p2dist
in the explods (that I
started back with
Cell Genesis). It was caused by a float value in
the velocity(s) of the hitdef which carried INTO the
p2dist as the character got
pushed by the
velocity(s) causing the error NOT VARS. What a dope.
You'd think he'd check something out
first before making an arse out of himself. NOPE!!!
Dumboy
CAN'T CODE!!!!!! It shows many,
many times that someone else is doing the coding for
him because Sunboy only seems to know
what he is told and NOT from any experience. My guess
is Orochi Herman, Shadow Watcher,
Sorrowedge, (and of course Jin Kazama and The
Necromancer
- especially Necro aka MUGEN's
original "Copycat" then take the credit later). I also
do sense a kind of conspiracy of "accept us as
the coding gods of MUGEN and all others outside our
group
shall parish" type attitude now. Just a
feeling but a feeling I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING!!! I need
to state that my codes aren't from anyone
except myself and Elecbyte supplying the engine and
docs.
I plug out all the coding and work out all
the bugs (if any occur). But like I said above "I'm the
idiot". MUGEN community sux... (all politics,
no brainz). Note also: I sense being ostracized not by
the powers that be but by LIARS that are
politicking and HACKING the powers that be. Screw the
establishment though. The Earth DOES
revolve around the Sun. The world IS ROUND. And
GohanSSM2
can definitely code and this page is
a testament to that. If I couldn't code, the notes
above
on "failed attempts" of old wouldn't exist. I
HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE I HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO
HAVE
THAT
KNOWLEDGE, not because of someone else's say-so. A vast
deserted wasteland appears now where
once a community stood. I had left in late January/mid
February but returned to an empty community.
I never post at M.U.G.E.N. Being forum again however
after my "I'm done" flame. I had been
hacked and shouldn't have returned but did. I do know
what had happened though and WHO HAD
HACKED ME (and who HAD me hacked). You won't listen nor
believe it so I just won't bother
with you OR ESPECIALLY THEM. I do know and THEY KNOW
I KNOW AND GOT SCARED
AND LEFT FOR A WHILE (hint, hint...). Now after they
think I'm totally gone they are
reappearing once again December 2001/January 2002
(hint,
hint...). I am also NOT the only one this
has happened to but I am the one they fear since they
know I CAN CODE in programming languages
and COULD get back at the whole lot of them easily!
That
is childish same as all hacking is. I
start saying as well at this time that I have a clear
conscience (and I do) but MANY of MUGEN
DO NOT! No one comes forward and no one pushes the
hackers
to come forward (although a
couple might have if I hadn't asked them not to). I
despise
MOST of the community NOW (with this
release and still yet as of now) and trust VERY FEW.
Also, many know I was hacked and also DO
NOT COME FORWARD (even in privacy). I understand some
but others wanted the hacking as well
and think it is "funny". Well, sooner or later "you'll
get yours too." guys. But not by GohanSSM2
because as I said "That stuff is CHILDISH and beneath
me. I have a clear conscience. Many others
DO NOT!". Many feel threatened since they know and fear
they may be hunted down by this crew
as well "if they speak about it.". My post counts were
huge but are now GONE. Many see this and
realize "Gohan's not kidding, he was hacked" since I
got my old name back but it was a total blankout
on my account which couldn't be done without the
account
BEING HACKED!!! Only EZ-Board or
a hacker could do this and I have not enough experience
with cgi or html to cause this therefore...
How could I get the account back? Well, I used
EZ-Board's
back door on the account to get back
my old account before the hacker had a chance to change
the backdoor on the account. It took two
tries to get it however but I finally got the HACKED
password sent back to MY e-mail and used that
to regain my account back. LUCKILY I was on-line when
hacked or else the account (and the
name GohanSSM2) would have been lost for good. I post
as TheAceMan4 at M.U.G.E.N. Being
forum while this is going on as well to try to inform
others what is happening and to expect some
possible flame posts but not from ME. I also notified
razorgolem (who was running the World of
Mugen board where I am a mod) that my account was
broken
into and someone MAY have
gotten the password or access to the board because of
this and to keep a look out. I stayed around
for a little bit but just left, within a week or two
of the hacking, from MUGEN altogether. I was
furious and really needed to cool down. As I said also
I do know who did this and I do know it is
NOT Sunboy or his minions (but some may know now after
the fact since they are mutual "haters").
This HEAVILY thins out the MUGEN ranks. MUGEN just
about
dies in mid-february 2001. My
war cry for quite a while becomes "[Blank] MUGEN. Let
it
die" now after I return. The only
good result from my returning was FINALLY getting
banned
from Mugen Dev forum late
(november/december) 2001. I try to say I care a few
times
but I really don't anymore. I have
become VERY BITTER (and still am).
18. Recoome [Sega] - July 3, 2001
Reason for delay, it sunk in that my eyes were
really
bad and needed a rest after visiting my eye doctor
in february, so I rested for 3 months. My eyes were
20/30
(or was it 20/40, oh well) with glasses and
there wasn't any way they would ever improve. My eyes
are beyond +7.00 diopters in both eyes and
glasses only go up to +7.00 diopters. Just a matter of
waiting till the big blur happens. The more I push
my eyes to see smaller pixels the worse they will get
(and headaches as well will become worse too).
My eyes are like looking through glass Coke bottle
bottoms
and if you do that long enough you'll see
what I mean by headaches. Because you try to constantly
squint to see better you get a headache from
straining too much. Hence, "you need to not look at
small
objects or small print". Hence, MUGEN.
Now for Recoome and the ever present "You need to learn
throws and vars" tossed at
Sunboy as well
as "I'll always be better than you Sunboy" both which
I HAVE said and say again. Why? Because it is
really true because I have done so much playing with
the game engine and the coding itself that I know
it cold anymore. Sunboy doesn't and it shows with the
constant mistakes he makes trying to accuse me
of "faulty" coding. The p2bindtime error causes the
character
to float on top of Recoome is just plain
funny and ridiculous to a knowledgeable coder but it
shows the lack of knowledge by the community.
My answer of "no, velset
in the p2 custom state causes
the floating and sprpriority
causes the on top part
of it." was met with stupidity by a bunch of tards who
know even less it appears than Sunboy and Storm
combined it seems. That is just sad. I honestly do not
use debug mode and haven't since airedit works
and I don't need to adjust clsn boxes by eye anymore.
I knew (and know) what causes the error and
explained to the community that it "In no way affected
playability." But what a bunch of [blanks] the
community is made of and Recoome proved that. The topic
was flamed and deleted from Dev forum in
2 days (or less maybe). Sunboy also releases Blackheart
at this time which is his best work but that also
has some major problems as far as the coding being
bloated
and the -2 states overloaded
to the point of
major slow down plus the overpowering damage values
making
him cheap and ineffective gameplay wise
but a nice surprise because something new looking was
done. Now enough of the foolishness for now
and onto something better. Recoome had 3 throws and one
should have had the EnvShake
but I'd
forgotten it. Oh well. Recoome also has the Ballet
Poses
(Invincibility mode) that
actually had a real bug
in it. Does Sunboy and the tards find the bug(s). Nope,
they see stupid messages on the screen in debug
mode and act like idiots. The bug(s) were 2. First, in
all the characters with throws, the time value
caused the opposing character to jump down to the
ground
if the character was grabbed while Recoome
was in the air (or whatever character was used that had
a throw and all had flying except Li'l Gohan who
also didn't have a throw). The bug was fixed AND found
by me. The other bug was in the Ballet Poses
invincibility mode because there was a coding gap that
allowed a tracking type projectile to get through
and attack through the coding gap. The gap was fixed
by using time = 2 instead of time = 1 for the
NotHitBy but
no one noticed this, why? Because tracking
fireballs weren't commonplace (or in my stuff)
back then. Instead I get a bunch of boring repitition
on p2illegal bindtime BS.
None of it was, or is, true
and it was all crap to the point of me exposing code
copying secrets that actually help expose Sunboy as
something else (aka Sunboy got busted later). Now, the
stupid p2 bindtime and illegal
action stuff are
not
anything causing any problems other than messages on
a screen that shouldn't be up when someone
plays a character anyways. Those messages come up
because
of my coding knowledge (not lack thereof)
and shows the community's lack of knowledge in not
checking
things out (yet again) before jumping to
wrongful conclusions (Storm am grate, Jin is Matt
Hannon,
Sunboy is a coder, etc. It is just sickening).
If ANY of the idiots had asked in private instead of
on a public forum I would have said what was up
(except to Sunboy and the minions of course who
shouldn't
know this stuff so that they can be caught.
Hint, hint... YOU DUMB DORKS). MUGEN made a bunch of
arses out of themselves yet again so I
gave up. Recoome is where I just gave up on a bunch of
idiots because you'll never learn I guess (or if
so then when? Because tomorrow's too late for me now
- read above at the start of this rant now see
eyes and see IT IS TOO LATE). [Blank] the M.U.G.E.N.
community
now. I care less (and post less as
well). Recoome's Ballet
Poses code is actually derived
from an as yet then released 5
fireballs in 8
seconds and you're
tired out code. This is my first
public
release of a -2 state accumulator
to time a
move that is universal (can be done in combination of
other moves so it belongs in the -2
states). This is
released at the time of Blackheart because of my break
I took. Also notice that the "You mean like
YongMing's Vice" comment was made in late January and
SNK-Capcom was released in March while
Blackheart was in July. What a piece of garbage and a
lousy liar. I left Mugen Being in February (and
flamed the crap out of it as well). There's no way I
could have posted on a Blackheart topic since
Blackheart wasn't even around then when I was at
M.U.G.E.N.
Being at the time. Also, the reference
Sunboy made was for helpers
which Blackheart doesn't
really use and he also referred to slots for the
helpers and
when they get hurt, blah, blah, blah...
What
a liar, fraud, etc. But please follow him dopey
sheep because I don't want you and your stupidity.
Plain
and simple. If you wish to talk fine. If you
wish to be lead around or told what to do then go to
Sunboy (or whoever). I don't like sheep people
(sheep themselves are fine because they are after all
SHEEP but people acting like sheep are not my
preference). Enough of this. Time to move on again.
[What,
the curtains?... Can never have too many
of them you know but as far as those
møøses...
We apologize for the remark set forth by this møøse
basher, we don't know who let her in these pages but
the offending female party that made that
comment is being searched for and will be punished
thoroughly
by being tied to the bed and... Well, you
get the general idea I hope.]
19. Mega Frieza [Sega] - July 13, 2001
So much for relaxing (and I'm paying for it now as I
write
this). Mega Frieza introduces (well in my
world at least) the use of helpers as a tracking
projectile
with the Destructo Disc. Like Android 16's
Rocket Punch, I don't use any clsn2 boxes because I
don't
want the Disc destroyed (explanation in
readme). Other than that I have made some stages
(February)
and have made musics as well (March or
April somewhere in there). I start my old habit again
of doing chars in a hurry. [Geez, going blind above
yet no mention of Harry Palms or Igonna Jerkovsky. What
is the world coming to these dayz.]
19 1/2. Sometime in July/August/September I helped
Komodo
with an sb1 game project he was
interested in. I used some codes I had set aside (using
Bojack at first) in case a project came up and I
wanted something different. After a while, Sunboy and
company just got to be such arses that I just
added in the 5
projectiles and you are tired out codes
to everything I had done. I was JUST going to
use them in Komodo's game but oh well... But better yet
is that Komodo decided to start making
characters himself (and didn't release the game that
I know of). I ought to e-mail him though because
the screenpack is a good release as well and he might
want to do that in lieu of the game.
19 3/4. All during 2001 comes coding flurry #2.
During
this time comes many coding breakthroughs
that have resulted in much better working characters.
The multi-hit HitDef
january/february 2001,
The stop sound of
sounds not using channel 0 (sometime
in july/august 2001), the tired out
from
too many fireball
codes (january or february 2001,
released
in july/august/september 2001),
improved fly codes
in april 2001 (much thanks to
Elecbyte
- they didn't supply any coding directly
to me but put in the common
states I needed in the
common1.cns
file so that I could correct the
drop down to the floor problem that was unfixable
prior),
off-screen moves (march 2001),
tracking
projectiles
(july 2001), adding power ups to the sb1
chars (october/november 2001), took out all the possets (related
to the fly code update), the get hit
(fall) sound codes, and so on...
(vars/throws...
Hahaha, not hardly) It is 2002 now... Even with my
breakthroughs
I'm glad I am not KGenjuro. After
releasing his J'Dar II he must be tired of all the
"will
you do this for me?" type e-mails you get when
you make something unique. J'Dar II draws from the
"this
started out as a shooter game" mentioned
in Elecbyte's docs. KGenjuro made MUGEN into a shooter.
Cool+++! and gets my vote for top code
fanagler (or is it fanagaller? Spelling/Vocabulary, I
tell you.).
[Please, if you are avert to looking at ALL CAPS and
YELLING
skip ahead passed all this YELLING
about CAPCOM MUGEN JERKS in this area. I am not all fun
and games and I DO NOT WISH
TO GIVE PEOPLE (AND [BLANKS]) THE WRONG IDEA. I do HATE
but for good reason...
And now for the book of the Holy Flamethrower, Chapter
5, verses 1 to 99999½].
Well, before the Capcom rant was the 'everyone sux'
post
at Mugen Being forum. Well, let's
see, I get hacked, insulted, backstabbed, and harassed.
Yup, everyone sux. [Blank] youz and [blank]
MUGEN. Bye. 'Nuff said... (february 2001). And looking
back I should have stayed gone as
well. A coder in a copier world. No future in that.
The "Capcom is the very dirty bottom of the barrel"
post
at ZGTeam forum. Do I sugar coat
everything? Do I only remember the roses and not the
thorns? Not hardly. I had said many times that
I didn't like Capcom gameplay but that was also my
opinion
and my choice. I didn't say "All Capcom
sux" and such back then, but in this post I DID AND
WILLINGLY.
I had just plain had enough of
Capcom whiners complaining all the time that their
GARBAGE
was too wussy-like to stand a chance
against a DBZ character. (of course not because DBZ is
NOT Capcom and PLAYS differently so the
big deal is? I think that most of the Capcom [blanks]
are
so insecure that they think that in order to be
"the best" like they wish to "think" they are; they
need
to "win" matches against ALL other genres and
characters. That is not what makes best. The problem
also is that most DBZ characters are a little bit
more "balanced" and usually have more moves plus have
the GETHIT sprites and don't tend to flicker
as much as Capcom, etc.) I had had enough of Storm and
Sunboy and all the other [BLANKS] that
make up the Capcom MUGEN genre. (Wait, Silent Storm
didn't
make Capcom characters. Well, he
did make a couple private releases of Storm from X-Men,
etc. but he was also ALWAYS professing
his undying love for Capcom. Capcom am grate. Capcom
am bets. Street Fighter Third Strike I help
maked its to. I work Capcom as tetser). They sux
royally
and whine about it constantly because they
always COPY OTHER PEOPLE'S STUFF AND PEOPLE ARE VERY
SICK OF IT!!!!!!! Most
Capcom stuff is very simple and requires VERY little
coding knowledge to pull off. CAPCOM
DOESN'T HAVE FLYING OR BEAMS, ETC., but what it does
have (throws, bird/skull/dizzy states)
have not been done (all reward and no penalties. NOT
GOOD!!!), and as such requires nowhere near
what it takes to do DBZ or SNK. (Sunboy proves this
with
his sad rendition of Vegeta at this time as
well. And others IN CAPCOM have proved this as well
with
chars like Dark Chunli and Evil Ryu and
Evil Ken which take Capcom sprites and juxtapose real
SNK/DBZ gameplay underneath to make the
character actually DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN BUTTON
MASH!!!!
This Vegeta HAS
NOTHING IN IT AT ALL JUST LIKE CAPCOM!!! The evil/dark
characters are loaded...) At this
point I wish to say also that there are VERY RARE AND
VERY FEW exceptions but why single out
people to get attacked by the mongrel hordes that ARE
the CAPCOM [BLANKS]? Capcom [BLANKS]
constantly say DBZ sux but yet never answer the
question
of "who's characters are you trying?". Or
the everpresent "Because they are cheap and I always
lose with [insert lame [blanked] Capcom char
here]." To which the reply is that DBZ is not Capcom
and uses something known as "gameplay" and
"power management" and "move management aka far away
attack vs. up close attack" and other
foreign terms that Capcom DORKS never think about. DBZ
IS NOT WUSSY STUFF LIKE RYU
AND KEN, ETC. but has replay value and NOT CHEAP COMBO
[BLANKOLA] AS THE ONLY
GAMEPLAY. DBZ is more intricately designed so therefore
beyond the grasp of a button mashing
CAPCOM IDIOT. You need to do things like plan ahead and
such instead of JUST BUTTON
MASHING. DBZ has not nearly HALF as much theft as this
genre does especially when you put
Necro over with them where he BELONGS! OK! MOST CAPCOM
MUGEN PEOPLE ARE THE
VERY BOTTOM OF A VERY DIRTY BARREL. THEY ARE THE
[BLANKS]
OF MUGEN. THEY
ARE THE ONES WHO KEEP TRYING TO GLOAT while the rest
of us were just trying to have
fun!!! So many egotistical [blanks] involved in Capcom
MUGEN character making. I don't see
anywhere else with so many [BLANKS] like in CAPCOM
MUGEN
making. Do you see it? (sarcasm) I
mean all the time there's non-Capcom MUGEN people
constantly
posting how great they are. Right?
(/sarcasm). There was NEVER ANY EGO [BLANK] UNTIL
CAPCOM [BLANKS] STARTED THEIR
[BLANK]. [BLANK] CAPCOM MUGEN [BLANKS] (roughly
99½% pure [blank]). The stuff is usually
missing
MAJOR sprites, etc. yet they WHINE all the time about
everyone else trying to say IT IS
EVERYONE ELSE!!!! It isn't!!!!! It is you, the Capcom
MUGEN [BLANKS], that are the problems.
There weren't many problems until the Capcom [BLANKS]
showed
up and tried to claim stupid
superiority with LAME ARSED GARBAGE that was (and is)
nowhere near advanced as the rest of
MUGEN because Capcom stuff is SIMPLE in design and the
company itself KNOWS THIS because
that was the plan TO MAKE THE GAMEPLAY SIMPLE because
most people who like to FIGHT
don't think very good so it NEEDS TO BE SIMPLE IN
DESIGN
because the target audience
fighting games shoot for (dullards) rely more on
reflexes
than brainpower. DBZ isn't like this and
STINKS in this type of ideology. DBZ is supposed to
require
THOUGHT and planning not BUTTON
MASHING!!!!! Most Capcom MUGEN people lie, cheat and
steal and expect people to LIKE YOU?
OK so people like liars for a short while until they
find out the truth. THE TRUTH IS THAT THE
CAPCOM MUGEN [BLANKS] HAVE CHASED OUT NEARLY ALL
THE
DECENT
PEOPLE OF
MUGEN TO THE POINT WHERE MAINLY FLAMERS, THIEVES,
LIARS AND CHEATS
REMAIN. MUGEN wasn't about better, best or any of that
[blank] when I started way back when. It
was about having fun and the ability to be able to have
that fun. I HATE MOST CAPCOM MUGEN
PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE TAKEN THE FUN OUT OF IT FOR
MYSELF AND MANY
OTHERS!!!!! Capcom MUGEN [blanks] have pretty much
destroyed
MUGEN. Storm, Sunboy, and all
the rest of the [blank] flamer crew reflect and
strengthen
this belief. OF COURSE THE REAL
REFLECTION OF THIS IS THESE [BLANKING] [BLANKS] USING
DBZ NAMES
TO FLAME
WITH when they are really Capcom [blank]'ers
hiding behind fake
names trying to frame DBZ people.
WELL,
YOU ARE RIGHT THAT MOST PEOPLE IN MUGEN ARE IDIOTS
BECAUSE
MANY
PEOPLE THINK THESE ARE ACTUALLY DBZ PEOPLE.
These are the Mugen
Devils and Mugen
[blankers
] (named from Mugen Dev and Mugen Shank). Most DBZ
people
are non-english speaking
and VERY
FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TO OTHERS!!! They may not know
"correct"
english but
they do
behave themselves UNLESS PROVOKED. THE CAPCOM
[BLANK]'ers
HAVE ALSO TRIED
TO SLIDE
THIS IN BUT THEY AREN'T GOOD AT THAT EITHER BECAUSE
MOST
WHO
DON'T
KNOW ENGLISH WELL USE CERTAIN KEYWORDS BASED ON THEIR
CULTURE
WHICH
YOU IDIOTS DON'T KNOW (and it shows too hahaha, right
Dr. Gerogason)!!!!! CAPCOM
MUGEN [BLANKS] HAVE GONE TO SUCH LENGTHS TO BE
SUCH [BLANKS] THAT
I HATE
IT!!!!! I
CAN'T EVEN STAND CAPCOM STUFF ON (OR NEAR) MY HARD
DRIVE
ANYMORE.
Capcom MUGEN cruds are the VERY BOTTOM OF A DIRTY
BARREL
because I have caught
them playing [blank]'ing games many times on many
people because
you MANY PEOPLE ARE DUMB
and believe these [BLANK] LIARS... [BLANK]
YOUZ..... I'M DONE....
YOUR PROBLEMS NOW
(HAHAHAHA). Or somewhat to this effect. Shortly after
I also tell ZGTeam to go [blank] themselves
because they are idiots. This is also a continuation
on my hatred because I KNOW WHO HACKED
MY EZ-BOARD GohanSSM2 account and why it happened as
well. Do I deny this? Not hardly
because these idiots are actually listening to a bunch
of liars and are destroying themselves and I
WANT NO PART OF IT OR TO SEE IT AT ALL!!!! I also know
that eventually ZGTeam will get
hacked to death or join in as part of the hacking team
that IS Capcom MUGEN people because they
trusted these liars who have constantly said in the
past
that they wish to destroy DBZ. Which brings up
another statement I made in roughly february 2001
during
the Willoughby crusades. I said at the time
that I WAS DBZ. At the time I was too. Everyone else
had left from like 20 people who were learning
to code on their own and the others who were "copying"
nearly 100 people just plain left DBZ and
MUGEN (also many SNK and some Capcom as well leave.
Most
of MUGEN walks out at this time.
Goes from roughly 800 people down to 230). Later on I
see some of the DBZ people involved in the
Quake III BFP stuff though but it says a lot going from
100 down to 1. Most also WILL NEVER
RETURN, EVER!!!!! Even NOW long after all this [blank]
started
I HATE CAPCOM MUGEN CRUDS
THIS MUCH AND MORE. I have seen them cause nothing but
trouble and play [blank]ing games
constantly. I can't stand them or MUGEN anymore so
[blank]
it. I'll just pretty much keep to myself
now and [BLANK] THE COMMUNITY that allows this [blank]
to
continue... I officially start kicking
the dust from my shoes like the Bible says I
should and move
on elsewhere... (let Sodom and Gomorrha
burn or whatever, I'm not looking back to bother to
find
out). I have looked back though and it sux like
salt pillars in a desert. I am not wrong for leaving.
Only wrong for not doing it sooner. It is a wasteland
and won't ever recover. The only hope MUGEN has is to
become MUGEN ONLY and shake off the
"copycats" completely (no more DBZ, Capcom, SNK, etc.
just MUGEN). And of course Capcom
characters look better now. No one else is releasing
anything new because, guess what, most of it has
already been done now (except Capcom who lags WAY
behind
and has only had VERY LITTLE
talent involved in it. Capcom is just a bit too simple
for most to bother with. Not that great a challenge
like a Last Blade, or Samurai Shodown, or Queen of
Heart,
or DBZ... type character is. Most I know
got bored with it including myself as well. Simple
moves.
Nothing to really DRAW you into it. No
coding challenge to speak of. PLAIN. Just rip, sprite
and sound replace for KFM, and play with
combo settings. (sarcasm) WOW! I'm impressed!
(/sarcasm).
But sadly, MANY haven't been able to
do this either for Capcom MUGEN characters. Too sad
indeed.
And my final spin... It shouldn't be
Capcom/DBZ/SNK but should be MUGEN. I didn't start the
[blank]'ing bashing but gosh darn it I tried
to do something about it (and at first I went
after Mortal
Kombat bashers not DBZ... Chew on that
[BLANKS]. And while chewing I also posted before at
NiteTek
that I preferred Samurai Shodown,
Queen of Heart, and Last Blade MUGEN characters to DBZ
but still prefer EVERYTHING over
Capcom MUGEN. I don't really hate Capcom the company
but I just didn't like the fighting games
except SFII - non-alpha which I started a Chun-Li from
and just got too bored so I quit. Just punch/
kick and 3 special moves. Nothing difficult at all and
VERY BORING VERY QUICK so I quit very
early on. When? Well, Android 16 was the base I used
for it so it was a LONG time ago. There was
a WiP pic at one time at World of MUGEN, and stupidity
e-mails shortly thereafter until I announced
I quit working on it. I never got stupidity e-mails
working
on DBZ characters so I'm glad I quit that
way as well. I was using DOS' Screen Thief screen
capture
program and was going to use SNESSOR
to get sounds with and the PC version of Street Fighter
II). [Note: If you feel disjuncted here go back
to before the paretheses then back to after the
parentheses.>]
YOU DIDN'T LISTEN AND REFUSE
TO TRY. You deserve what you get. GARBAGE FROM LOSERS
LIKE YOURSELVES!!!! NO
ONE SHOULD EVER PUT UP WITH THE DEGREDATION THE MUGEN
COMMUNITY
DISHES OUT. Case in point. Sunboy flames character
maker
for (whatever, take your pick, he does it
constantly mainly because he always feels threatened
like a panty waste thief waiting to get caught so
accuse the guard of being the thief while you walk out
with the crowned jewels.) Myself and 2 others
see the attack and then proceed to attack Sunboy for
"being an arse and flaming". Community jumps
myself and others for "correcting Sunboy" because "We
know Sunboy is a jerk but can't help it, but
we hate you." Now, WHO THE [BLANK] IS GONNA JOIN A
COMMUNITY
THAT SUPPORTS
FLAMING? (and not by placidity or complacency but by
actively searching out those against flamers
and publicly supporting those who do FLAME others like
Sunboy, Storm, etc. You are [BLANKS]! I
have YET to see any of you correct Sunboy publicly for
being an arse yet you say it many times but
DO NOTHING PUBLICLY, NOR DID ANYTHING PUBLICLY IN
STORM'S
CASE, TO SPEAK
OUT AGAINST IT!!!!!). ONLY [BLANK]ING MORONS LIKE
YOURSELVES!!!!! THE MUGEN
COMMUNITY SUX.... I HATE IT!!!!!!! I am tired of
fighting
a bunch of total MORON ENABLERS
who admonish those who attack those who attack others
yet do nothing to those who initiate the
attacks. (I can think of a million reasons to leave and
not one to stay...). It may have been a depressing
reply I wrote when Mattasaur went to leave but it was
and is ALL TRUE. I see nothing to stay for and
just wanton destruction and debauchery by those
involved.
Dust storms aplenty. A vast WASTELAND
created by its own evil hand. Shake it off... Move
on...
1,2 skip a few 3,4, skip some more 99, 100.
[Such language from a professed møøse
lover
or was it professor møøse luver? I forget nowadays.]
20. Vegeta sb1 [sb1] - July 17, 2001
Just a sprite swap of Vegeta SSJ1 without the ground
shaking
intro (just like the original game). Took 6
hours to convert sprites and redo (undo really) the
intro.
21. Maximum Frieza [sb1] - July 19, 2001
Scene 21... (No, it isn't scene 24, you søn
of
a silly persøn, scene 24 is the old man from Monty
Python's The Quest for the Holy Grail movie you ninny.
This is a MUGEN history/diary type page not
some farcical romp through the english countryside with
some king crowned through some farcical
aquatic ceremony and not crowned through a mandate by
the masses).
Right, now back to the show...
2 days? and what... as Kirby said (not a real
quote),
"what does that spinning upwards move do
anyway?" My reply, "it is for attacking others in the
air" Kirby again, "I can't use it to hit anyone.".
My sentiments exactly towards those who play Capcom
characters
most of the time. Anything
they don't know must be dumb, not I don't know this so
I must be dumb; like the truth is. Stupid
people. And about the preferences and not better
statement.
I made a statement at one time that the
difference between my Maximum Frieza and White_Fox's
Freeza 100% Maximum power was that
White Fox's Freeza was Capcom MUGEN style gameplay with
mainly kicks and punches and
oversized attack sparks. My version was more DBZ
gameplay
oriented and if you needed a good
example why DBZ isn't as good Capcom gameplay wise then
compare these 2 characters. It wasn't
meant as a mine is better post but was done to try to
show why Capcom DBZ just doesn't gel as well
as a REAL DBZ character. It still holds true and no
hacking
(or logging in as fake names to get more
votes) can hide the real truth. Why Capcom dopes are
interested in DBZ that they continually say they
hate all the time is beyond me. Stupid squared to the
nth power. I guess they just got tired of getting
their arses whooped so they came up with Sunboy's wussy
Vegeta that is easy to beat on and is
designed not to fight back. Very few Capcom people,
mostly
Capcom idiots in MUGEN. No brains
required to play Capcom fighting games I guess. I
played
them and got bored quickly. I moved on to
SNK and QoH and DBZ games. Less boring repitition and
more variety. That is my opinion though but
when someone tries to say I (or others) are idiots
because
we like something, well, it speaks well for the
community as a whole since no one spoke up about it
until
LONG after I kept yelling about it and the
damage was done by chasing out most of the intelligent
people in the community leaving THE
FLAMING IDIOTS behind. And now for something
intelligent
to offset the lack currently exhibited in
the community. Oops! Sorry! Ran out of time but maybe
after the møøses get sacked. No, reali, a
møøse once bït my sïster...
(The
Quest for intelligent life in the MUGEN fighting game community
continues. I mean shoot it is a fighting game and
people
come wanting fights [and møøses too]. What
does a DBZ sod want? Bloody freaking world peace? Go
sux a lemon. All seems lost when suddenly
aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhh)
22. Trunks sb1 [sb1] - August 1, 2001
nothing new here just continuing on with ALL the sb1
chars.
23. Piccolo sb1 [sb1] - August 19, 2001
Added the NotHitBy
and HitOverride to the tracking
projectile.
I had been fighting off the use of
tracking projectiles
because it gives an advantage to
those who have them over those who don't have
them. It is a guaranteed hit. Cheap. With the
introduction
of the 5 fireball and tired codes
and the fact
that sb1 characters really need something to spruce
them
up a bit. I finally give in to the tracking
projectile
urge and update the previously released
characters
that had them in the originals to have them
now as well. I release the updated olders with the new
Piccolo sb1. Also, this is the cornerpush
release.
In all honesty, cornerpush
is not needed in Piccolo sb1
because he looks best when he pushes himself
backwards when the opponent is up against the wall. I
do worm some information out of Sunboy with
this however. Sunboy states that he asked Shadow
Watcher
about cornerpush on my
statement of I use
-5 to offset the 5 of the hitdef. The truth is that,
yes, it should be zero like Sunboy had stated but it is
also true that Sunboy had to ask Shadow Watcher and not
rely on himself. Very interesting... Not really
though when you look at Orochi Herman and Sorrowedge
fingerprints throughout Sunboy's work (if it is
his outside the messed up helper states?). Shadow
Watcher?
Hmmm... Possibly? Sunboy would know
but I ain't ever gonna ask. I hate liars like Sunboy
and Storm... Always a mess to clean up and deal with.
I was wrong however to say that using zero was wrong
so I apologize publicly for what it is worth. I do
not apologize for the result I got however and I am
still
going "it figures." I know from experience not
"asking Shadow Watcher". And this is easy to figure out
as well. Either it does or it doesn't. No need for
a second opinion I feel. Like I said "very
interesting..."
[And very insecure as well on BOTH SIDES.
Let it go Gohan. They believe something they can not
let go of right or wrong. They want something to
be whether it ACTUALLY is or is not. Let it go... It
is politics not reality... (Twilight Zone theme plays
in the background)]
24. Goku sb1 [sb1] - August 22, 2001
Kaioken mode,
tracking multi-hit projectile... small
character
with many advanced tricks. Kaioken
mode is a bit
like SSJ mode except that it is
short-lived
and drains energy after it wears off and hurts
the one doing it. In kaioken
mode you are stronger and
faster and have access to greater power (full
power bar). Multi-hit
tracking projectile is a combo
of the multi-hit HitDef and the tracking helper code
for a really nasty surprise (Mega Spirit Bomb). Check
out the rave reviews at Mattasaur's site (hahaha).
<--- All characters have multi-hit tracking
projectiles,
etc. What a waste of space. Well, Mattasaur and
company wanted a pubic (I meant public, really, it's
not like I said go milk a møøse or something here)
site. [No realï, pre-pubescent is more like it.
So bleeding childish. I think pubic was a setup realï. Had
to be.]
25. Mega Goku [Sega] - August 27, 2001
Taiyoken (Solar
Flare). Using the bgpalfx
stuff and
now
I'm going shoot, other than angledraw
on the
beam attacks (which I won't do because homing beams
would
be really, really, really super cheap) I'm
low on stuff to play with.
26. Mega And. 18 [Sega] - October 19, 2001
So I slowed down finally. A bit late though since my
eyes
did deteriorate a bit again. The hit
the ground
attack and continue
from an air attack was done on Mega
And. 18. This is the move you do "in the air".
Android 18 does the attack in the air and when she hits
the ground she continues the attack on the
ground in a crouch attack (from air to crouch hahaha
sneaky).
26 1/4. November/December 2001?
Add button powering up to sb1 characters. Makes sb1
characters
much more "balanced". I use the
power up anim from the Sega game for this.
26 1/2. January ??, 2002 3 sb3 cloud stages
Big deal. Also go to the power = 5000 energy levels.
Gameplay
is much, much better now.
26 3/4. Gotenks SSJ3 and Hyper Buu redone [HD] - January 24, 2002
Just added in tired animations. You get them from
beating
the snot out of your character with the other
character using combos (and HD is loaded with these...).
27. Mega Gohan [Sega] - April 15, 2002
Combined the off screen dash with the fireball to
create
the off-screen fireball (and
put this in the new
versions of Cell Genesis, Mega Goku, and Mega Frieza).
Still not yet released or done yet. I'm as far as
the demo is (about 90%). I still need to center certain
characters and am waiting for the new MUGEN
release for some common state updates that need to be
done. Waiting is good though (for me at least)
but not too long or the stuff will never get done by
me (anyone else volunteer?).
27 1/2. March 2002 - Who is GohanSMM2 topic.
This is sad and silly at the same time. The answer
to
all this is just a couple questions that need to be
asked.
1) If I am such a bad coder then why is it when I
ask
the ones accusing me to attempt the "easy" codes
themselves they ignore the request or try to belittle
it? If the codes are that easy then shouldn't it also be
easy to replicate them (without copying)? Why all the
rhetoric on this? You either can or can't. It has
been over 9 months now since the origin of this
challenge.
My bet is on CAN'T. And yours? Soldats
FAILED miserably as did Ragnarok Nemo. It was very
pathetic
AT BEST. I wish I'd saved that junk
to add it here and TRY to explain what was totally
[blank]'ed
up on EVERY attempt and what was
WRONG
and poorly coded and WHY it was done poorly and what
was 'screwed up' based on a "coder's
knowledge" not some copiers' [blank]ola. So much was
missing in terms of 'critical states' and 'critical
ideas' that ALL the codes were TOTALLY worthless or
didn't
perform the proper task. A good joke
was the 'Sound echo code' crap. In order for that to
work the KO sound would need to be 11,0 (not
mentioned by Soldats) but this would not work well
either
(especially with 'short KO sounds'). I mean
the list of [BLANK] would make another page in and of
itself
and the explanations of WHY it was
[BLANK].
The messed up 'Broli fly code' he posted including
state
1500... (not sb type like mine is,
which mine is MUCH tougher since you need to
alter the common file,
not an easy task even for an
accomplished
coder). The really screwed up attempt at a 'boomerang
projectile' code. That was
pathetic (and mostly
incomplete as well). And on and on... There was not ONE
thing worth a [blank]
[socks can be poorly
darned and the 'not worth a [blank]' seems appropriate
here]
and not missing KEY
ideas. Copiers always seem to be such [blanks].
I can code, watch... And
then just a pile of copied
[BLANK] or simple stuff
to try to [blank] people who don't know much. That
[blank]
works on new
people and of course other
copiers 'gotta protect their fellow copiers
regardless'.
Pathetic. If someone
saved that garbage I'm very interested in it...
(my e-mail's at the top). I found
some of it though. Here
was my reply... {} stuff is to mark what the
discussion is about since Soldats' post
is missing and just
pieces remain here. The
[quote][/quote] denotes Soldats' ACTUAL WORDS POSTED
on Mugen Dev
forum...
**********************************************************************
You need some info Soldats... (Soldats)
You have LITTLE CODING KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER AND HAVE
NO IDEA. PERIOD.
http://members.fortunecity.com/gohangsm2
Now to rip you a new one... (no, wait you already
ripped
an SBD - Silent But Deadly). PU!!!!
Let's review this shall we...
{fly code. In a later reply he posts Broli fly codes
with
state 1500, no less, and added a
'slow down' to them. Big whoop. Copying is copying.
Anyone
can add stuff to
someone else's stuff but to come up with it from
scratch...
That's my point here.
Not copy and add but MAKE it YOURSELF LIKE A CODER and
not COPYING
like a COPIER/XEROX MACHINE! Dense...}
[quote]Easily done with velsets/veladds and physics = N[/quote]
And this keeps the player in the air? how? There's
also
the sysvars, etc.
(I won't give all the info on this). You need to
ACTUALLY
modify the
common file in many different ways you can't even
imagine.
Try it
yourself though and see... (Your way doesn't work
well).
Mine doesn't
just float around like the Broli codes (kuzu-bei).
Bi-level
not freestyle.
Geez...
{Multi-hit HitDef "beam" attack}
[quote]Simply use multiple triggers (such as
trigger1
= AnimElemTime(1)
= 0 ||
AnimElemTime(2) = 0).[/quote]
No worky that way. Try varadds and varsets. Try it
your
way however and
see the opponent slip away... UNHARMED if you use vels
in the hitdef
(you are missing a lot here). Also, this code set up
the multiple hit tracking
projectile
later known as Goku sb1's Mega
Spirit Bomb
(this coupled with
tracking projectiles
not to be confused later with
returning
(boomerang)
projectiles).
Also, my option allows for the ability
to have a 100 second
hitdef and
only 50 hits. Your idea is totally screwed
in that respect...
All or nothing coding and not very adaptable. Try
again...
{Tired out fireball codes}
[quote]There are multiple ways of doing this, none
of
which are that
advanced. One way to do this is to simply use a
variable
to count how
many fireballs have been thrown, and when that variable
reaches a
certain amount, a ChangeState triggers to go to the
getting
tired
state.[/quote]
No, there isn't... The codes enable if 5 fireballs
are
used in an 8
second period
of time... Try again. Try that 8 seconds
timer (without
cheating.) Yours is REALLY simple and not what was
mentioned.
Try again (and again...)
{Get hit sound coding}
[quote]Very simple to do involving the Random
trigger.
Example:
[State -3, GetHit Sound]
type = PlaySnd
triggerall = (Time = 1)
&& (Random = [300,500])
trigger1 = (StateNo = 5000)
|| (StateNo = 5010) ||
(StateNo
= 5020)
value = 30,11;gethit sound
channel = 0[/quote]
Hahahaha, try this... (your way works EVERY TIME YOU
GET
HIT WHICH IS
ANNOYING!!!!!!! This triggers on the fall states. Also,
this code doesn't trigger
multiple times on a multi-hit attack... like yours
would
and therefore yours would
sound like [blank]).
[State -2]
type = PlaySnd
trigger1 = var(9) = 0
trigger1 = GetHitVar(fall) = 1
trigger1 = GetHitVar(hitcount) < 2
trigger1 = time = 0
trigger1 = alive = 1
value = 3,6
[State -2]
type = varset
trigger1 = GetHitVar(fall) = 1
trigger1 = time = 1
trigger1 = alive = 1
var(9) = 1
[State -2]
type = varset
trigger1 = stateno < 5000
trigger1 = time = 1
trigger1 = alive = 1
var(9) = 0
Talk about out in LEFT FIELD, you aren't even in the ball park here...
{On the KO echo coding...}
[quote]Um, this doesn't involve any coding. It's one
of
the options
under the [Data] parameter in the character's CNS file
(KO.echo = 1 for
echo).[/quote]
Yeah and try that option, hahaha. See how well it
works
and sounds...
Notice no mention of sound
11,0 so that this code would
even WORK.
Try this (and using a program to create the echo sound
separately and
add it in as sound 3,10). The sound will NOT happen
again
on a multi-hit
attack and at the start of the next round var(10) gets
reset to zero so
no extra varreset is needed. (Hint, hint...)
[State -2]
type = PlaySnd
trigger1 = LoseKO
trigger1 = time = 1
trigger1 = var(10) = 0
value = 3,10
[State -2]
type = varset
trigger1 = LoseKO
trigger1 = time = 1
var(10) = 1
{Body Exchange
coding. Ummm, this is freaking
ridiculous.
Go see
Ginyu's 2000 states to figure this one out. This IS
PATHETIC.}
[quote]Use a PosSet[/quote]
For body exchange? You being silly or what? That
works
fine for moving
your character to where the opponent is but what about
the opponent?
Silly!!!!!!!
{Boomerang Projectile coding. Android 16's Rocket Punch}
[quote]Have the projectile
be a helper. Then simply
use
VelSets and/or
VelAdds[/quote]
Who came up with this? Hahahaha. I waited 3 months
for
a bunch to
get it and they couldn't. Took me two hours. A LOT more
to it than
velsets and veladds however. I can't wait until
it
sticks
at the right side of
the screen or refuses to return and on and on... Try
it yourself (without
cheating or copying!!!!!!!!). So much ESSENTIALS
MISSING
it seems.
{power up coding}
[quote]Again, easily done:
[State ####, PowerAdd]
type = PowerAdd
trigger1 = Command =
"hold_x"
value = 4
As for the sounds, just use a PlaySnd and StopSnd[/quote]
Hahahaha!!!! Do you even understand anything?
Obviously
not...
Go to my page. Your powerup code is missing a
[blank]load
of
features (sound for one). And "hold_x" Why? Just use
"x" and
stop being a wiener...
{sound stop coding for non channel = 0 sounds.}
[quote]Look up StopSnd in the docs. It's nothing profound[/quote]
Ah, yes it is... You see ONLY channel = 0 is stopped
by
the game engine.
I can stop ANY channel (without using the All sound
stop).
NO ONE
ELSE figured this out before I did... (or since it
seems).
The sound
STOPS when in a gethit
state not just a 'stop the
sound'
at the end of a
move but the channel
= 1 or higher STOPS when the
player
GETS HIT.
If you'd have gone to my site like asked you wouldn't
look so foolish...
{off screen dash attack}
[quote]Use a ScreenBound controller. And then have a ChangeState trigger
if the player is off screen
(FrontEdgeBodyDist/BackEdgeBodyDist).[/quote]
Don't forget the p2
custom state... Trigger not
needed
(and wouldn't
work properly on THE OPPONENT!!!!). That's right
[blank]nuts,
try the opponent not Mortal Kombat stuff you ninny...
YOU
NEED TO VISIT MY SITE... (Brawk, Polly wanna cracker.)
{off screen projectile attack}
[quote]Can be easily done by having an invisible
helper
that's off
screen and simply have that fire a projectile.
My point in all this? I don't care if Gohan stole
code
or not (I don't
think he ever did), but you talked about it as if his
coding was/is the
greatest thing ever.[/quote]
Wrong idea... Using a p2 custom state projectile and
then
screenbound on
the opponent (in the p2
custom state). I'm not THE
GREATEST,
BUT I
have taken a LOT of wrongful abuse from COPYING lamers,
like most
MUGEN coders that HAVE coded stuff THEMSELVES. Code
copiers
seem to get treated like gods however, go figure...
Works
like the off-screen
dash only using a projectile as the "launcher". You
really
need to visit the
site... Your lack of knowing what these codes do is
killing
your chances of
being able to do anything that doesn't make you look
FOOLISH...
{And finally}
[quote]Ummm, yeah... [/quote]
My thoughts exactly!!!!!!!
NOW, GO HERE......
http://members.fortunecity.com/theaceman4/mugen.html
You obviously have no idea what I or anyone else is
talking
about...
Also, freeze coding (opponent gets frozen in place),
et cetera...
This is ridiculous... When you get to the site look at
the BOTTOM of the
design page. There you will see a LONG list of stuff
to check out. Check
the stuff out FIRST, THEN run your mouth (or more
likely
realize what a
fool you are being and slip into oblivion!!!!!!). Also,
check out the
HISTORY page as well. Lot of stuff there (that showed
up here as
well...).
**********************************************************************
There was also Broli's fly codes posted later in
their
entirety with a 'slow down'
added. Copiers... I tell ya. Because of that 'slow
down'
Ragnarok Nemo acted
like ALL the other coding was nothing compared to
this...
Dip[blanks]... I think
the [blank] above proves my point well enough. That was
all BS by Soldats...
ALL OF IT... REALLY, not one code worth an undarned
sock.
And copied
no less... Soldats was insulting himself not me in
that.
I couldn't post at Dev
at the time (still can't). My offer of "try it yourself
without copying and
cheating" still applies... I mean this was BEYOND
pathetic
here...
2) If I have copied ANYTHING outside the obvious use
of
the common file for the base for the air
coding and the fact that "what you gonna do about just
plain punch/kick coding because it is all roughly
the same anyway" then let me know. Using the common
file
can't be avoided since "common states"
must be manipulated to achieve the Super Butouden fly
coding. Lots of funny stuff had to be written to
make that work like the original games. So, if I copied
from someone outside Elecbyte (and the
obvious of MY OWN) then who?
2.5) As far as the "similar coding" issue. Tin made
Fernandeath
a while before I made Hyper Buu but
both use an "eat them up" type move involving p2 custom
states. Neither is remotely the same. Every
time I have seen 2 different people do the same type
moves they have used different methods (and the
states appear in WAY different orders because one will
think of explods first while
another will think
hitdef, et
cetera. The order WILL be different because
of thought patterns. That is a gimme. If the
order is identical or NEAR identical the code has been
copied except in VERY rare simple coding like
dashes and such which are pretty basic anyway and have
FEW states to arrange.). One person may
use explods,
another may use helpers,
another may use
a projectile, et cetera.
Another thing to observe
is that NO ONE GETS GREAT OVERNIGHT. A person needs to
learn the coding process and that
takes a while. Those that START OFF with "terrific"
seeming
characters usually have used someone
else's coding. There is so much trial and error
involved
that it takes A LONG TIME to figure many
things out. A person who gains experience however will
eventually be able to "make some wild and
crazy stuff" but someone who starts out using other
people's
stuff doesn't gain this experience and later
on they have to START ALL OVER AGAIN. Also, those who
copy have to rely on those they copied
from for updates as well (and usually help to get the
codes to 'work right'). There are good excuses for
this like "I don't speak english very well" or "I'm 10
and we haven't had any real math yet". The other
excuses are "I'm lazy" or "I can't do it." Of course
no one can do it if they NEVER TRY and are
LAZY. I never expect geniuses or "master coding" from
ANYONE starting out. I usually expect to see
basics with "a move or two" thrown in as
experimentation
and a TON OF UPDATING as they learn
more. Copiers tend to just dump release stuff then
either
dump release more or disappear from the
scene. A "dump release" is a release just DUMPED on the
community by someone who knows they
can't update it because they just copied other people's
stuff in and haven't got much of an idea what the
coding is just that it makes them do stuff. MUGEN is
LOADED with tons of "dump releases". VERY
FEW tend to stick around and update their previous
stuff
for the new versions that come out. This is a
BIG guage as to who is REALLY coding and who the Xerox
machines are. I have been around. Of
course some non-english speaking people may not
understand
what they need to update. Those can end
up as dump releases as well. English speaking CODERS
don't tend to dump release though (unless they
quit because of the constant BS of the non-coders
saying
how great they are, or get sick of being stolen
{sorry, borrowed or adapted} from). Coders just tend
to quit or update... Which category do MY
'naysayers' ALL fall into? (A) Coders (B) Copiers and
non-coders {non-coders are those who post
like they could make something yet never release a
thing}.
3) If I can't code then WHO did I get the coding for
my
original moves from? I mean before Captain
Ginyu, no other character "knocked the opponent off the
screen" or "switched places with the
opponent then switched back". Before my Normal Cell
update
no characters "drained the opponent's
life and added it to their own" and on and on... Before
Li'l Gohan there was no scaling of sprites
using the game engine and not a paint program to scale
them beforehand... I mean COME ON
PEOPLE IT IS A LONG LIST HERE... (Oh wait, I figured
it out. I can't code because I didn't copy
from TESTP or the NEW Kung Fu Man (or Visual Kreations,
VK) like everyone else. That's all that
seems to make sense here. They always seem to try to
say you should do it like so and so's... without
saying any names in public to get caught from. CODERS
ALL DO IT DIFFERENTLY AND NOT
BECAUSE A GROUP SAYS DO IT THIS WAY... Copiers form
workgroups
to share their 'learned
tricks' from other people's hard work. Coders do things
themselves and don't need to form
'workgroups' or share ideas because a coder wishes to
'discover the idea on my own'. There's no
coder's union or that kind of stuff; just a general
consensus
of who has and can do it, and those that
RUN THEIR MOUTHS trying to convince 'n00bs' that they
can). In a recent e-mail (march 2002) I
just came up with another spin on this. I mean someone
actually thinks that coding is what makes a
character more popular than another. If a person is
MORE
POPULAR then they are therefore a
BETTER CODER. Gee (haha, used one of his fake names
here),
now we ought to open up a site so
people can vote to see who can code and who can't. This
simplifies a lot of things. I mean gee, all this
time I've been using my head to make original stuff
work
when I really just needed to have people
'believe' that I could code because I was popular. This
is OUTRIGHT pathetic. 'Voting' or 'believing'
someone can code based on 'popularity' or 'gut
instinct'
is ridiculous. Coders aren't created by people
VOTING that they can code or can't. Politics leads to
popularity not 'coding abilities'. Geez. Coders
aren't created by popular opinion. Popularity is
popularity
and coding is coding; neither is related to the
other. Popularity doesn't mean a coder and being a
coder
doesn't mean popularity. Usually the opposite
because the trend has seemed to be that those who can
code get flamed and quit. Then the copiers tend
to wait a bit, then take the coder's stuff and become
'popular' with it. I wish the cycle would stop
because MUGEN has lost many great coders and has pretty
much built up a nest of 'popular' thieves.
Good coding takes a combination of many talents but the
prevailing talent needed is what usually gets
referred to as 'brainstorming'. This is why I also KNOW
the difference between a coder and a
non-coder. This is only understandable by those who
'know
the score' on this. Coders recognize other
coders whereas noncoders can not. I am very TIRED of
a bunch of noncoders trying to put their
wooden nickels in to 'who can code and who can't'. If
you are not adept at coding yourself you CAN
NOT tell who is or isn't. A coder always has a type of
signature in their work UNLESS the coding is
COPIED. Coders get 'in a rut' and problem solve certain
ways. These ways show up as 'style'. Each
UNIQUE coder develops their own 'style'. This style
shows
up in copied coding as well, but many
copied codes shows that it is copied by the 'lack of
a constant style' throughout the coding. This style
evolves as the coder's abilities evolve and depends
upon
usually the order of 'key discoveries' that
further enhance the coder's abilities. Coders are
different
and share different traits than copiers. A
coder's comraderie is the 'joy of discovering new
frontiers'
whereas copiers share in the 'joy of figuring
out how so and so's [fill in the blank] code works.'
There is no common bond between a copier and a
coder that I've ever been aware of, so I have always
tried to say a copier is a copier and a coder is a
coder because there is a BIG difference in idealogy
between
coders and copiers effecting different
labels. My list of 'achievements' is a long one but
each
runs into the other. As one discovery came
another ability was expanded and then that ability
enhanced.
There isn't a 'Bam! you can now code.' It
is a steady learning process. But learn this well
please:
Popularity NEVER means coding ability. If that
were true all coders would evolve by being voted coders
rather than using their 'brainpower' to achieve
the knowledge required to gain abilities. This idea of
POPULAR = CODER is idiotic at best. He is SO
POPULAR so he MUST BE A GOOD CODER!!! That is such
horse
hockeypucks. And the worst pile
of 'horse hockeypucks' is this scenario: Coder creates
original code. Group of copiers takes code and use
it in character (not giving credit of course like
usual).
Coder complains. 50 copiers constantly flame said
coder so that coder quits. MUGEN community sees large
attack and believes group of copiers trying to
say 'HE (the coder) asked for it because HE was being
a jerk'. Community = idiot sheep. So MANY
losses (Conversion World, myself, et cetera).
Now, also, I'll say what I feel were my greatest
accomplishments
to
myself and my former coding challenges (in historical
order):
1. When I got the throw code for Majin Buu to work.
(v01.01
MUGEN
- The docs were VERY incomplete back
then.)
2. Hyper Buu's Candy Munch.
3. Super Butouden fly codes. (Bojack)
4. multi-hit hitdef beam attack using vars. (Kid Gohan
SSJ1)
5. Ginyu's Body Exchange.
6. Kaioken mode. (Goku sb1)
3.5) The "we didn't say you couldn't code (a lie).
We
meant that you don't code well." My question is
where? Be specific here. Every time someone has said
something here it turns out to be bogus. What
code is crappy? What code doesn't work right? I can't
help those that generalize (or can't answer). A
few have eaten their words on this one though.
Politics.
I post it so it MUST be true... Sheep following
the wolves... Until I laugh at them getting eaten...
(note there are AND have been errors and coding
"faux pas" and I had said such but OTHERS seem to have
to find these and NOT the whiners).
4) With the end of #3 being said. Who do I have to
prove
anything to? I'll honestly answer this one
myself. NO ONE except me. I have done what I have done
and know how it was done and what was
involved in doing it. That is what this page is to
show.
The only person I need to satisfy and prove
anything to is myself. Talk is cheap so say what you
will (Fastway anyone?).
5) To most of the ones attacking me. Will you be
honest
about who started the attacking? I attacked
Silent Storm (after he attacked others) and Sunboy
(after
he attacked others). The rest of you started
with me and I gave it back to you (which you definitely
didn't nor don't like). The other exceptions
were WilloughbyJackson and The Necromancer (during the
"crusades" when they attacked others for
'being DBZ') and Artisto16 (via e-mail for being a
cocky,
pompous arse and trying to talk down to me).
6) And speaking of the crusades, why is it that I
seem
to have been the only one able to get people to
stop copying from others? I definitely should be the
one to leave the community for that... The process
for this is easy but takes time and patience. All that
needs to be done is to say to the copier "you'd be
surprised what you could do if you tried." As well as
"you are missing half of the fun. It is like solving a
great mystery." and "No one's perfect but you can never
blame someone for trying." and "wouldn't it be
nice NOT to have to wait around for someone to stop
scratching
their butt and e-mail you back..."
plus "Oh that feeling when you finally see that
projectile
work right darnit." Coding it solely by yourself
is probably the greatest thrill in MUGEN. I know (Tandy
BASIC and QuickBASIC as well...). "It feels
great when you finally realize that you DON'T have to
rely on others to do things for you." But there's
always the ones that don't wish to grow up and stay
babies.
Waahh!!!! Mommy change my dipey...
(and there's others who are just plain too lazy to
bother
to even try it. After all, some other dope will
code what I want and I'll just take it and say it is
mine. REALLY IT IS MINE! AM I A LIAR?). If
Willoughby and Necro had consulted me and LISTENED they
would have realized that the "crusades"
were a bust. Flaming and yelling is NOT the answer.
Pride
and shame are... But truly "knowledge is
always the key".
[Always the same old rhyme. There once was a
møøse
from Nantucket...]
27 3/4. March 2002. More gameplay stuff.
Decided to go with a 'charge up' type cmd entry for
the
tracking type projectiles. I
feel the added wait
will justify the 'automatic hit' effect of a tracking
type projectile. Not publicly released yet though. All
but Goku SSJ1 (because I figured that Goku SSJ1 needed
an edge with this) and Goku sb1 (because
there is already a pause in the tracking projectile).
By having to charge 'down' first for 50 ticks it in
essence creates a 'wait state' that allows a 'free
attack'
by the opponent. Just more gameplay tinkering
stuff. Definitely 'no coding breakthrough' with this.
Thinking about using it in freeze moves as well but
the freeze moves do have the timers so that they can't
be done over and over again but only can be
done once and then you have to wait. I think I'll just
stick to the tracking moves. Redid the Hyper
Dimension 'island' stages to use multiple windows
allowing
for the bottom half to scroll while the top
half remains stationary. Normal - tile - velocity -
window.
27 7/8. March 2002 part 2. Mine and other people's stuff.
I need to get my arse moving. Back log of stuff
right
now is:
Rework a character for someone (SSJ modes).
Kami with Cartoon King.
Katie390 and the change form (Mad Cow/Bunny) stuff
(oops!
forgot a LONG while back).
I probably forgot something...
I started posting on the MUGEN message boards again.
E-mail a bunch of people. (Exotrope is a royal pain in
the arse lately. Mail server's been
down several times and at
least
one time a week since xmas 2001).
Try to find someone to learn how to code so that they
can carry on for me when I leave
(so many secrets that would
disappear).
Which reminds me... VegetaGokou and the Coding
Archive...
That might work...
Update, update, update... (off center MUGEN stuff and
possibly the defs in the stages
to add in game info - no
coding
messups that I'm aware of and maybe add in the
fortunecity site link in the
char txt files and the stage def files. MAYBE.)
Finish my WiP list (Mega Gohan (90%), Mega Vegeta
(.2%),
Trunks Briefs (.2%),
Krillen (.2%), Goten (.1%),
Kid Trunks (.1%), Cell Junior (.1%)). Note:
.2% = move list worksheet plus
big portrait, .1% = move list worksheet only.
Oh yeah, and play Empire Earth, Age of Empires II - The
Conquerors, Warlords: Battlecry,
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms,
Corsairs, Earth 2150, Submarine Titans,
The Wheel of Time, Carnivores
Ice Age, Hexen II, Turok, Turok II, Quake III Arena,

- Arcade Hits I & II - Missile Command,
Age of Empires - Rise of Rome,

I & II & III, Forsaken, Descent 3, Descent Freespace (and
add-on),
Freespace 2, Front Page
Sports:
Baseball '98 (1904 season sounds good). Man, I need
to retire from MUGEN on this
list alone... Here's a list of my PC games
game

And, of course, eat, [blank], work, and die...
(everyone
dies eventually but it seems to be a
LONG process for me).
[Gohan is lazy. Gohan is lazy...]
27 15/16. Late March 2002 till... Posting on boards again.
Don't ask me why. A funny thing about my sig now.
First
Gabba Gabba Hey is from The Ramones'
song "Pinhead" - I don't wanna be a pinhead no more...
Gabba Gabba Hey... D-U-M-B everyone's
accusing me... The other part of the sig is "Confusion
say 'He who hesitates must pause'" is from my
sophomore year in high school. I used Confusion as a
penname a few times. In 7th - 8th grade I used
the name Zilcho (but the name Zilcho meant nothing to
me - zilch, nada really). Confusion was more
of just stating the obvious like Confusion say 'that
which goes up goes up and that which comes down
comes down.' or Confusion say 'That which is, exists.'
Or Confusion say 'If at first you don't succed,
you may end up going O for 2.' Or even Confusion say
'Existence is not meaning of life. Buy a real
dictionary, please.' Or even more Confusion say 'Why
so many questions?'. And Confusion say 'If tree
fall in woods and no one is around, how do you know
that
tree fell? Hmmmm....' And another
Confusion say 'If train leave Osaka going 60 MPH and
another train leaves Tokyo going 70 MPH and
are both due to arrive in Hiroshima at 7:30PM do you
buy a different ticket, buy extra insurance, or
just crash like a fool?' Or Confusion say 'If you have
4 apples and you give Jane 2 apples, does Jane
go on a date with you?' And Confusion say 'If you have
4 apples and you give Mark 2 apples, where
does black eye come from?' And yet of course Confusion
say 'If you have 4 apples and you give
mother 2 apples, you have Oedipus complex.' Confusion
say 'Man need to be Wise like potato chip.'
Confusion say 'I need car made of scrap, where do I go?
[Yugo]. Like I said, where do I go? [Yugo]...'
Confusion say 'If Who's on first, What's on second, I
Don't Know's on third, Because is in left, Why is
in center, Naturally is in right, Today's pitching,
Tomorrow's
catching, I Don't Give A Darn is at
shortstop, then How is there room on the team for a
designated
hitter?' And of course Confusion say
'One who finds answer must first look for question.'
Confusion say 'Man who talk to self usually get no
answer. Weren't you listening?' Confusion say 'Orange
you glad I not use banana jokes?' Confusion say
'If you buy chewing gum for 50 cents from store and
give
cashier fifty dollars, does cashier meet you
out back after work?' Confusion say 'Which bird faster
- African, European, or Duzzshee Swallow?'
Confusion say 'If one plus one is two, then where baby
come from?' Confusion say 'In old age, memory
is the second thing to go. I forgot what's first.'
<--
I used to have this last one in my old sig only without
Confusion say.
27 31/32. nDo and the rest...
No surprise here. They aren't out to help anyone
just
to destroy stuff they don't control. Isn't it amazing
that this group is made of people like Kirby, Infiinma,
and so on...? They have no point except
destruction. nDo (new Dev order) is worthless just like
its member list. These people can't be bothered
with anything and feel everyone else shouldn't be
bothered
with things as well. THEY JUST DON'T
CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEMSELVES. That sums up nDo
and ALL of its member list.
Anyone who is helpful or nice to others gets attacked
by this trash. They are just that worthless and
useless. They've always been that way... They attack
others and then blame the staff of the board for
'not being there to stop them'. No staff can be there
24/7 and they also bypass banning anyway (which
is definitely NOT the board staff's fault that they are
HACKERS either). The fault lies in the attackers
NOT the board staff. If nDo didn't attack like a bunch
of rejects there wouldn't be any 'problems'. A
bunch of lying, troublemaking trash. That sums it all
up.
27 63/64. Mega Gohan will be released as part of v5.9 updates.
All chars getting updated to v5.9 now. v6.0 is
reserved
for WinMugen updates (and I already know
there WILL be updates to the common (aircodes) file.
I also got notice from someone that my stuff
doesn't work in LINUX MUGEN. I already know this. There
is also a HitOverride bug in
the p2stateno
of a statedef
leading to problems anyway. I hope that
gets fixed in the WinMugen version otherwise I
may be stuck at v5.9 (and DOS) for quite a while
longer.
The p2stateno bug is a killer
for my stuff.
I know, my stuff is so simply coded (hahaha, not
hardly,
THEY can't replicate it without copying like
Soldats' 1500 states that were posted on Dev {or should
I say kuzu-bei's}. I did it from scratch and
most shows that because it exists NOWHERE else. I also
UPDATE my stuff. Copiers can't really
update other than fixing animation bugs or correcting
'trigger errors' or adjusting get
hit velocity values
and such that arise from copying codes. If you do it
from scratch, you don't have 'carry over' errors
from other coding and don't have to worry about
changing
ALL the values because you CREATE all
the values yourself. Updates come from either 'gameplay
taste' {I want the air hit to go -5 in the air
instead of -3} or from learning new tricks that you can
add in {tired out fireball codes}).
Copiers aren't
evil or anything but it is usually much more fulfilling
to say 'I did it myself' than to say 'Uh oh, so and
so just updated, what do I need to change now?' or
having
a 'dump release' that you can't do anything
with and then people bother you about 'why doesn't this
character work?' My system hardware doesn't
like LINUX. I used to use DOS 5.0 (then 6.0 then 6.2
then 6.22) and Windows (3.0 then 3.1 then
3.11). LINUX wouldn't be difficult for me to use but
my hardware is another story and I'm not about
to create my own drivers just to try and run ONE game.
Not worth it for me. I play Empire Earth and
such more than MUGEN now anyway. Also, Elecbyte has
said
that they went to LINUX because the
tools were there and the features were there NOT to try
and 'get rid of those who can't code.' Shove
Shank and the Devils and nDo who try to peddle this
nonsense. Elecbyte isn't trying to exclude people or
anything like that. They are just trying to do what
they
feel is best for the game. DOS doesn't support
multiple joysticks. Both Windows and LINUX do. Windows
costs cash though. They asked and
people came through. LINUX tools are free (or very
inexpensive).
Simple math. I hope Elecbyte tries
to continue BOTH versions even though I can't use the
LINUX one. I can see dropping DOS support
as well. The only thing Elecbyte is doing is trying to
improve the game and its gameplay not include or
exclude a group of people. If the include/exclude was
the case then Elecbyte wouldn't put MUGEN on
their site and then go around and chastize people on
message boards for 'not following the Elecbyte
wishes'. I have to say that it seems Elecbyte's wish
is to make a good game that most people will like
to use. You don't get a WIDE audience of testers by
excluding
people. If it was that case they'd just go
to private betas and not change platforms. Sunboy and
the rest peddling this nonsense are IDIOTS. I
don't call them idiots to put them down or nothing it
is just the lack of truthful logic that merits this
label time and time again. They speak illogical, poorly
thought-out [blank] to get people upset and also
to try and degrade everyone except themselves, who they
believe to be the true 'intellectual masters'.
If they really are so smart then why do they constantly
post idiotic garbage trying to say they are
smart? Truly smart people don't have to say OR prove
it. It shows. I left the boards and they became
'idiot havens'. Must be Sunboy is that smart, geez. I
also try not to go around calling others names and
such UNTIL after they earn it. All those saying that
Elecbyte changed to LINUX to get rid of 'the
losers' are total idiots. Private betas would do that.
See IDIOTS... Not as a putdown but because
THEY EARNED THE LABEL TIME AND TIME AGAIN...
[Møøse
earned their labels by being
born into intelligence. There is also another group
that
wishes to be just like us too, the
hïppøpøtämøøsës.
We're just so famous.]
27 127/128. Found an old update for v5.0 characters
so
I thought I'd place what I
write down 'updatewise' here.
guardflags
fall = 1 on
third fireball
center sprites on axis
posset throws
slow down some throws
readjust clsn boxes
poweradd + damage vals
varadds
redo trackers
fireballs
energy steal delays
var 19
var 21
strong kick/punch
power values down to +5 on power up chars
delete state 747
guardflags
gotenks, mpiccolo, mgoku snds
All written on the back of scrap paper.
Side note: I never finished the center sprites until
just recently (but need to redo clsn
boxes and realign
hit sparks as
of April 8, 2002). Var 19 and 21
got
deleted.
Not included: Even to this day I still haven't
bothered much with 'heavy, medium, light' for most
moves
on "get hit" states.
27 255/256. April 14-15, 2002. Mega Gohan and v5.9 releases.
All characters now center aligned. I've been holding
back
the AfterImage cancel code
for over a month
now. I believe that is the last bit of 'normal
game-like'
coding I'll need but who knows? I mean I can
add coding to increase the hit counter when a multi-hit
move gets blocked but that seems cheap on the
counter. Do a HitAdd
with a value of 1 with a trigger
of moveguarded but like I
said 'cheap on the
counter'. Also, guard.dist
= 330 to allow guarding from
across the room. Also knew about time
= 0
problem for multi-hit
'beam' attacks. I kept waiting
for Sunboy to try and 'guess' the answer but too
late now; he don't wanna talk no more. Because time was
equal to zero it prevented the opponent from
being able to block the 'first hit' and also disabled
guard state with the 'first hit'. {hahahaha}. Shoot, too,
I knew there was another 'add-in'effect for v5.9. This
is also the version where most tracking
projectiles
now have a 'charge up' time by holding the down
key/button
(except Goku sb1 and Goku SSJ1 because
sb1 already had a pause and SSJ1 needs a little extra).
Makes homing/tracking projectiles much tougher
to pull off now. All part of the reward/penalty system
of gameplay. Sure the 'tracker' is a guaranteed hit
BUT you have to get the time to launch it now. Also,
found an OLD 'bug' from the v07.31.2000
crouch that used to be handled by the game engine. I
added a state to the common
(aircodes.cns)
file in state #11.
On another sad note, the war with
the jerks is either nearly over or just beginning
again. My vote is on 'just beginning'. After dealing
with ShoShingo on the Bloody Teardrops froum (and
elsewhere previously), I can honestly say that it will
never get settled. Also, another note on the last post
about "one word". All the [blank]'ing, etc. was put in
that
post to see who else is waiting on the sideline to
jump in on this. ShoShingo is too inexperienced to go
this alone. It has also NEVER been allowed to be
a one-on-one so something is up. Posting anger will
hopefully
bring in some of the 'shadow lurkers' on
the Bloody Teardrops board. My LAST sneaky, subversive,
underhanded act with THEM. They
THINK they are right but I know for a fact they are
DEAD
WRONG. I also left ShoShingo with a
question to which the answer is just ONE word. That word
is dignity. To explain the answer: Dignity
is what a person who achieves something acquires. But
I will only post that if you don't know what this
means, I can not help you ShoShingo. Sunboy and the nDo
and the Shank crew are all totally lacking in
any dignity whatsoever. Nothing is beneath them and
their
lying, manipulating, scheming ineptitude. If
they weren't so inept they might actually try to
achieve
something constructive instead of constantly
trying to destroy what others have achieved (or just
outright stealing or hacking stuff to get it). This is
and has been beyond pathetic for a LONG time now (even
before I got involved with hassling Sunboy
and crew back). This also isn't a joke but I have been
trying to treat it as such MANY times. Pretty
much, joke's over shortly. Too many have been hurt and
attacked and have left because of a group of
lying, manipulative, deceitful, subversive vermin. This
group HAS NO DIGNITY and attacks those that
have dignity. People like Infiinma, Jared, Kogason,
etc.
are all pretty much worthless as anything that
isn't used to start a fire with and then toss in the
trash. Read the top part of this page again and think
about 'fun'. A bunch of indignified, no talent losers
have done their best to take the fun out of MUGEN
for many. Many have left and will NEVER return. Where
is the 'fun' in that? SSDD... I'm going into
the 'no more secrets' mode now. This WILL get very
interesting
VERY fast. Just asking the 'right
questions'. Also, I will be working on REALLY building
a decent 'how to code' site explaining ALL that
can be dealt with. All these little coding secrets will
soon start flooding like they 'used to' before I got
stabbed in the back 50 million times by no talent
losers.
There will be NO doubt shortly (especially after
the 5.9 releases and such). I expect to see a whole
pile
of bullstuff in the release topics to kill the topics
off just like before...
NO DIGNITY WHATSOEVER...
[Møøses are dignity. Just ask a
möüsë,
or a hïppöpötämøøsë.]
28. Mega Vegeta [Sega] - Just started.
28 1/2. After update. Post at The Arcade forum.
Shoot, I forgot all about the odd coding for the
tired
out fireball codes. I did a reworked version but I
still plan on using the old 'messed up' version. Until
Slack86 had posted about it, I had forgotten. Pretty
much I redid the function of the vars for the reworked
coding and stuck up the rework on my FAQs
page. The rework uses 6 vars though but is easily
adaptable
with MOST characters using the old
system. Instead of just var(17), var(19) and var(20),,
var(15), var(16), and var(18) are also used now
as well.
28 5/8. April 20 - 29, 2002. reworks & fixes.
After an e-mail with SSJ3 Vejita, I finally got some
useful
info. 7 chars updated but the v5.91 were
because of SSJ3 Vejita's e-mail. He said (in different
words) that the opponent would be stuck and
unable to move after the off screen dash attack. MAJOR
bug. But, the fix was simple. Just change
changestate to
selfstate in the p2 states. Only 3 chars
affected, Recoome, Ginyu, and Mega Frieza yet
there are ALL the Sega characters that have these
moves.
(sarcasm) Darn my copying ways (/sarcasm).
I mean shoot, in reality, if I even copied my OWN code
all the time this would have been in ALL my
Sega characters. The second part was v5.92 and was
because
of a trigger = var(12) = 0
line that needed
to be removed on the p2
state and this affected Bojack,
Majin Buu (sb3), and Mega Android 18 which
I had somehow overlooked in a previous update. v5.93
was a rework so that Android 16's Rocket
Punch move was more 'handless' friendly. Now when
Android
16 gets hit while doing the Rocket
Punch move he takes damage {LifeAdd and
GetHitVar(damage)}
but does not go into the usual gethit
routine but still stands there with the arm off
animation
even when being attacked. Looks more 'lifelike'
this way. This also demonstrates the 'hitoverride throw
bug' mentioned in the LINUX docs but also
present in the v04.14.2001 DOS MUGEN. Throws do not
register
as hits because of the hitoverride
used in Android 16's Rocket Punch now (which also means
that the off screen Sega character dashes
and off screen projectiles will not register damage
while
Android 16 is in 'Rocket Punch' mode). This is
a bug in the game engine and has been mentioned by
Elecbyte
in the docs of the LINUX version (but
was present in the v04.14.2001 DOS version as well).
V5.94 on April 29, 2002 - this is a sound fix for 3
characters that SSJ3 Vejita noticed were 'high pitched'
and 2 others that I remembered as well. The 3 he
noticed were Cell (and Complete Cell since they use the
same snd file), Majin Buu (sb3), and Piccolo1
(sb1). The two I also remebered were Android 20, and
Kid Gohan (sb1). All v5.94 is is a sound
adjustment to keep them, as SSJ3 Vejita so eloquently
put it, from sounding like "smurfs". I still kept
the altered 'tea whistle' sound for Majin Buu and just
slightly lowered the pitch of Android 20's Energy
Drain (from 14000 to 12500 isn't really that big a drop
in sample rate). I also included the new rework
for the tired out
fireball codes inside as and20new.cns
in this version of Android 20.
28 7/8. MaxiMUGEN board. Went public around April 25, 2002
Slow start. Who knows... A bunch of morons on other
forums
going around and saying use Ragnarok's
MEE and that Sés stinks. May they ROT IN
[BLANK].
Ragnarok's piece of [blank] is just a front end
for
Elecbyte's sprmaker. MCM by Sés is an ACTUAL
PROGRAM.
How any MORON thinks
Ragnarok's
front-end is better than Sés is beyond retarded.
That's like saying the Doom-It utility is
better than
writing Doom itself. If Ragnarok is so [BLANKED]
[BLANK]'ING good
at coding why
doesn't he write a [BLANK]'ING
program OF HIS OWN INSTEAD OF RIDING ON Elecbyte's coat
tails? I've talked toRaggingdork before and
know he couldn't do hex file editing so Ragnarok
is a WUSS
as far as being even considered anything NEAR a
coder. Ragnarok's MEE is but a front
end utility and
can't standalone. Sés' MCM is
an actual PROGRAM. Also, I don't believe Sés can
run LINUX either
(not 100% sure). How is he
supposed to work with something he can't test on? In
order to see if
something works or not you need
to be able to run the program. Last I knew LINUX was
NOT very
language friendly AT ALL. Sés is
definitely NON-ENGLISH. This WHOLE DEBACLE just cements
the cake on the retards in the
community. Raggingdork needs to leave in the shame he's
created for his
loser arse and take his trash
butt buddies with him (and Inflamer as well). I hope
the community starts
coming together shortly
because the [blank] needs to hit the fan on a bunch of
losers.
After ALL that
Sés has done for others and a bunch of
NO TALENT JACK[BLANKS] HARASS HIM. SOMEONE
STICK
A FORK UP
RAGGINGDORK'S [BLANK]; HE'S DONE ALREADY. I imagine
when
Sés
can run the new versions of MUGEN he
could support them with MCM. I feel however
with the
[blank]enine behavior of Raggingdork and his
butt buddies that Sés may be done now.
I don't blame
Sés one bit either. Like I said, with all that he has done for others and to get all this [blank] from
a
bunch of NO TALENT JACK[BLANKS] is beyond
pathetic. Maybe Sés will just take out english
support though (which would be a shame but...). I doubt it
however; I'm pretty sure Sés is near
finished
with the [blank] like everyone else who does a [blanked]
thing for people. Hey, I already left
these places because
of this [blank]. Created my own place in
fact... MaxiMUGEN.
28 15/16. Mega Vegeta released. May 3, 2002
3 new moves. The Jumping Double Flame Kick is where
you
go up then return to the ground again
kicking all the while. The Reverse Shoulder Smash is
off screen but uses the playerpush
to pass by the
opponent then bash 'em in the back to send them off
screen.
Finally, the throw Punch Air Punch
Ground move
which is pretty odd looking but works,
throw
the opponent up in the air then punch them
to the ground while in the air. Not spectacular which
is why I've never been fond of doing meteos.
Meteos aren't that difficult, I just don't like their
looks most of the time. Instead of an already planned
out move, I like where you mix and match to make your
own. v591 - centered the homing
projectile
projectile so that it works properly. v592 - Forgot
about
the air to ground of the Punch Air Punch
Ground move, now after the move BOTH characters are
returned
to the ground if done while Mega
Vegeta is in the air. Both updates done on May 4/5,
2002
respectively. Update for Vegeta sb1 and
Vegeta SSJ1 done on May 5, 2002 as well. Had the time
set to 70 for the var and 30
for the sound on
channel 1.
Changed the var time for the
Big Bang Attack
to 30 (state 360). Also, the updates to the
beam attacks a while back were because Baby Bonnie Hood
made a comment about the attacks not
being able to be blocked a while back. Just took a
while
to sink in on that. It was coded alright but the
engine wasn't able to detect guarding since the trigger
started on time = 0. By
making the time = 1 the
engine could detect a guard block. Like I've said also,
the HitDef beam attack coding
is what makes the
Mega Spirit Bomb in Goku sb1 possible. Without the
counter
developed within this coding, the Mega
Spirit Bomb would not be possible.
29. Trunks Briefs [Sega] - Just started (May 5, 2002)
29 1/4. The destruction of Dev forum. May, 2002
The forum didn't collapse due to bad management. The
collapse
was due to the fact that a purpose for
the board was not clearly stated previously. According
to K3nShin AND Visual Kreations, the board
was created as a place for new people to go and get
some
help on learning to code REGARDLESS of
their inherent abilities or LACK THEREOF. The board was
not made to be 'elite' but to be helpful. A
bunch of RETARDS, however, have taken it upon
themselves
to wreak havoc on the board and the
people therein. The adminship of Dev has learned a
lesson
about leniency but also unfortunately still
has a few of the [blanks] in its own ranks. The
following
need to be taken AWAY from the board as
well
since their agenda is against the board's. These are
Orochi Herman, The Necromancer, Cabbit007,
N64Mario plus members Samanosuke of the Saito Clan,
DarkOffspring
(aka uncle daddy and aunt
mommy had a baby named DarkOffspring, the inbred), and
Mattasaur is still floating around there
as well. Surprising how ignorant and selfish people can
be. Herman's real goal was just to have the
board to himself. He has that but is really running a
ghost ship. There are no new people coming to the
board and most of the old standards have left. Unless
the rest are taken out, and someone else brought
in, the board will die off shortly. If that happens,
that leaves my forum. I don't want that because that
means more headaches. I have NO problems helping most
people (nDo and butt buddies thereof are
the exceptions) but I do know that the [blank]holes
will
come to destroy the forum over and over again.
Slack86 was my choice for an admin because he is very
good at finding their junk and banning them on
the spot. If MaxiMUGEN was to become the forum after
Dev's collapse that would mean a huge load
of retards posting under 500 fake names to lie, cheat,
and steal from everyone else and try to chase
people away. That would bring a huge burden down on me
and the staff to deal with these lamers.
Well, VK and K3nShin, I'm making an offer to help bring
the place back where it should be if you are
really interested. O Herman is just doing the same
[blank]
as Kirby (aka Miss Papaya Kid) was doing -
hassling and harassing others. I am banned from the
board
and O Herman knows I am a threat to him.
Without K3nShin or VK seeing my stuff in public (and
what others running the board are doing) there is
no other way. If I were to get someone to post the
truth
on Dev, they would immediately be banned and
the post deleted by O Herman. I won't be able to post
either since I am banned and DEFINITELY a
major threat to O Herman. I would rather keep Dev going
honestly. Much easier that way but a near
impossibility unless the TRUE admins of the board see
what has been happening. O Herman is nDo as
well (but when the big boys showed up he played a FAKE
about face but has since returned to his
hating old self). What is lacking? Well, for new people
to feel comfortable they need a place to ask
questions without being judged if the questions are
worthy
or not. That no longer exists at Dev. People
need a place to ask for stuff to learn from. That no
longer exists (go to google). Instead of Google, how
about encouraging someone to make a TRUE link site
where
your links won't be trashed because the
person running the link site doesn't like you (aka
Heartburn
Kid's mishandling of K3nShin for banning
HBK when HBK was {and still is} in the wrong). I used
to be the one helping new people before.
Without me there, Dev is a [blank]. That isn't my fault
nor is it my wish. My problem wasn't with the
board itself but the [blanks] who were left to wander
free and hassle others (the Mugen Devils). People
who were/are Devils are: Silent Storm, Infiinma,
Ragnarok
Nemo, Kirby, Sunboy, ShoShingo (Dead
Panda Guy), Orochi Herman, Mattasaur, Heartburn Kid,
and on and on... These are people who don't
help anyone and complain if someone asks for help.
These
are all people who have no business even
being around a HELPFUL forum but are good at running
[blank] boards. Whoever [blanks] the most
wins with these idiots. I guess when you have nothing
but [blank] to go on, you take your [blank]
seriously. Being, Shank, and Dev (since end of 2000)
are [blank] forums at present. Dev has a
possibility but only if someone is willing to really
take the time to help people out again. I am offering to
help only because it will fall to me again eventually
anyway. Whether Dev or MaxiMUGEN is the
admins at Dev's decision (if they ever get a chance to
decide). People used to be able to get help
before, not anymore (or faulty, useless [blank] from a
bunch
of copiers who don't know jack [blank]
about
coding). The board has been failing since
november/december
2000. There have been many
questions
left unanswered since then. No one wants to go to a
board
where they ask for help and get
nothing but
flames and [blank]. Not my problem YET, but soon to
be I feel. Dev is all but finished
unless the final USELESS straws are cast out.
The mass bannings also got
rid of many useful people
in addition to the
useless ones. I'm surprised that O Herman hasn't
unbanned
them YET (and said it
was to teach a
lesson). They should NEVER BE unbanned and a few others
need to join them. The
ip addresses need
to be undone and just ban the ones who seem 'fishy'.
No passwording except in the
admin area as well.
Oh yeah and someone used a program (?Buster) to hack
the password to the admin
area on Dev.
Another person GOT (not stole) the password from Legato
B to his account (since they
were banned
themselves but conned the moron formerly known as
Skuld-Chan)
and also the password
to the forum
to delete posts with. THIS person was... (I know who
but ain't saying YET). The password
wasn't
stolen. Someone had a definite use for it and used it
to clear their defamed name so to speak.
29 1/2. The MajinSting incident. May 2002.
A person named MajinSting committed suicide.
Originally
it was posted that MajinSting had died (with
no explanation). After the unexplained post a group of
retards proceeded to post how it wasn't "my
fault" while saying it was a "joke" and that MajinSting
wasn't really dead but posting under another
name (which they have yet to find because it doesn't
exist since MajinSting actually IS DEAD). This
was pathetic BEYOND pathetic. All the post was made for
was to let many know that MajinSting had
died to those who might be interested and also to those
who knew about his problems. MajinSting can't
let anyone know because he's DEAD. A public post was
made just to announce his death to the
community. The post got turned into a debacle of "I
didn't
do it" and "He's not dead"... It was a
disaster to the family and friends of MajinSting to say
the LEAST. No one really blamed them
(nDoites) in the first place (at least any who knew
what
had happened). The ones who blamed them for
MajinSting's death were none other than THEMSELVES. I
am sorry for the family for now posting this
but I need to stress some MAJOR faults of a lot of
[BLANKS]
in MUGEN who need to learn to shut
their [blank] mouths and that the world doesn't revolve
around them and their [blank]itude. MajinSting
was dying of cancer and most likely in a tremendous
amount
of pain and KNOWING he was going to
die. Now think about this, it was only posted that
MajinSting
had died, NOT that people were to blame
but as a PUBLIC NOTICE since only MajinSting knew who
he talked to. Also, to protect the family
from having to see what happened in print, it was
decided
to post ONLY that he had died (for obvious
reasons explained above - CANCER and a suicide that
resulted
from CANCER, geez). It was not
actually a sad day either because he was supposedly
hurting
very badly and his death was probably sad
in that he was gone but glad because he also wasn't
suffering
anymore. So a mixed blessing so to speak.
I was not directly involved and did not know him but
I have been around several who have suffered
and died because of cancer and it isn't a pretty sight.
My condolences to the family but also a wish for
closure on this. What MajinSting did was NOT for
attention.
What MajinSting did was NOT because
he was a coward (he had more to live for than to die
for). BUT in order for others to understand they
have to experience it themselves and see it themselves.
There is no honor nor lack of honor in what
MajinSting did and it is up to God to decide NOT me nor
anyone else. Since when is that any fault of
Nuse II or Kogason or any other moron? It wasn't
because
of some moronic "take my stage down" BS
but because of something known as REAL LIFE. No one was
blaming these morons but they felt the
need to prove themselves to not be the cause when NO
ONE said they were. Sunboy, Nuse II, and
many others were involved in this, the lowest of all
MUGEN [blank]. Turning a person's death into
freaking politics. Instead of asking what happened, a
group of morons turned it into a circus sideshow
and debacle. Instead of any remorse for past
indiscretions
there was only gratitude for [blank] well
done. For those that had any doubt, MAJINSTING IS
DEAD!!!!
There is no debate on this and it is not
a joke nor was it a joke. It was turned into a [blank]
sideshow
and I am still [blank] PO'ed beyond belief
on this. Judge not others lest ye yourselves be judged
and judging from this, God will have his work cut
out for him. All he needs to do is apply the same logic
to them as they have applied to MajinSting and
many others. Do unto others... I am judging you guys
myself now as you have been deciding to judge
others ONLY I will be giving the third degree from now
on. Do unto others... You will get what you
deserve from now on! I warned you guys before, NOW you
[blanks] will learn to avoid me at all
costs from now on. I was nice before but no longer. I
now play for keeps and will destroy all those
deserving... GAME OVER! I also will no longer 'stoop
to your levels' to prove points. I show NO
MERCY from now on except to those deserving (which
excludes
nDo and such). I HAVE NOTHING
TO HIDE BUT MOST OF YOU DO...
(Also added, MajinSting had a child that was still very young yet and
MajinSting was actually thinking about his child as well.
MajinSting knew he was dying and rather than have his kid be
too attached to him, he thought it well to end his life so that his
child could know another father that was not dying. His
child was still too young yet to understand about death, but as his
child got older, would have definitely hurt knowing
that the daddy you care about is going to die and not be around any
more. So a very tough choice and he loved his
child very much but also was not 'selfish' in his decision to end his
life.)
29 3/4. Trunks Briefs released. May 26, 2002.
Released at MaxiMUGEN and TheArcade. Breakapart
Fireball,
one fireball comes out but splits into 3
when it gets near the opponent. 4 Hit Punch Attack, off
screen dash with a twist because you get a
couple shots in first and THEN send them off screen.
Pretty uneventful.
30. Krillen [Sega] - just started. May 2002
Sprites are a bit tougher since they need to be
recolored
in the eye (black spot 0,0,0) and some arm
colors (sometimes the sleeve looks ugly and sometimes
the lightest shirt color is used in the arm as
well). Using Mega Goku as the base (with the Solar
Flare
already done and the air attack and others...).
30 1/2. Krillin Dude [Sega] released. June 1, 2002
The Solar Flare is a repeat of Mega Goku. Upwards
Flying
Headbutt is interesting because it can do
others in the air as well and isn't just ground based
like the other off screen moves are. Destructo Disc
is the routine homing/tracking
projectile from Piccolo
sb1.
[What no humor anymore? At least make a joke about
something
like:
"I
trusted
the nDo and I got what I deserved. Anyone have any Preparation H?"
Or "I'll blow you a kiss alright - pucker up!"]
31. Kid Trunks [sb3] - just started. June 2002
His eyes need to be recolored or they would change
color
with his outfit. Outside that it shouldn't be
too difficult.
31 1/4. The incidents at ZGTeam forum.
Should be renamed idiocy 101. Got so bad I even
mixed
up Sunboy's Blackheart with MystikBlaze's
Captain America. Secret is out though. Squealed beneath
it all about The Necromancer but so that only
Necro would understand until NOW. Please read this. In
mid 2000 (july/august) The Necromancer
contacted Kogason to hack kuzu-bei. I happened to have
talked to the OTHER person (not Necro or
Kogason) who was instant messaged about this. This
third
person disappeared shortly after as well but I
kept quiet about it. Who hacked me? Same person. He
used
the ___Buster program and gained access
to my EZ-Board account, then tried to change it but
couldn't
because of the "backdoor" password I did
(wasn't required back then but is now). A person was
also bribed to turn my angelfire account in for a
character they wanted but oddly enough never received
(well, not really oddly). This person came
forward afterwards but didn't say who asked them to do
it just that they were sorry that they had
because I quit shortly after the incident. My Fateback
and original FortuneCity accounts were hacked
into and some bad scripting was used to make both
accounts
inaccessable. I named the 4 as well but
didn't say their "occupations". There is Sorrowedge and
Shadow Watcher, the coders. Yohko, the
sprite ripper. Kogason, the hacker. Necro, Jin Kazama,
Sunboy, Silent Storm, and so on all seem to
have these 4 guys in common. Then there's the
underlings
like ShoShingo, and so on who just get
bribed (or more likely racially [blanked]) into backing
these guys. Awards get fixed if you can vote for
the award. Been quite a few where people got more votes
than the site itself had hits and it always
seems to be either someone in the group getting the
award
or making sure someone the group is
attacking (like Pioupiou) doesn't win the award. Pretty
sickening really. I'm on the verge of saying
[blank] it again. All my help does is give them more
material
to mess other people over with. My ideas
and such have been ripped off by them constantly but
"altered" like everything else they steal. Best
thing I guess is to say [blank] it again, let it rot
out
and die. Let them rule over 2 people (themselves and
those who are [blank]ed over with their [blank]).
Sunboy
posted some totally [blanked] up coding
including a !p2dist mess up with the trigger
messed up and generally
not workable. You see, he tried
to combine
three states into one using ifelse. Doesn't work
properly.
Velset needs to be set to zero to
stop from
just drifting around. Sunboy's messed up coding (as
usual) didn't take this into consideration
(among
MANY other things). He also doesn't care that his
putting
the -2 and -3 states at the
top is
messing stuff up (or the fact that -3 is BEFORE
-2 numerically). Oh
well, let the [blank] thing die
already. They
twisted so [blank] much up in that topic that if I had
said
I had ate toast with jam on it
I would have been
accused of saying I invented sliced bread. [Blank] that
topic became so [blank] stupid
and filled with their
lying [blank]. Wang-D came in and now he can go [blank]
himself as well. He made
some messed up
comments without even knowing what I was saying or even
seeing my chars. Bye dude,
I don't
babysit dorks anymore. Go join your new found
backstabbing
friends Wang-D because I really
don't
want your [blank] around me. I emailed him as well
giving
this site url and the message "too late".
It is
too late. No one is learning but really just copying
what others are doing (or just plain stealing it
outright). Simple help questions just can't be answered
because most people just don't have the basic
knowledge to answer basic questions. Coding is usually
totally messed up and worthless. Fifty million
states that aren't needed but are used because they
can't
get any decent help. The file sizes are
skyrocketing but the quality is actually plummeting.
Everything is so over powered that people are
completely turned off from MUGEN. ANY 4 moves and game
over is NOT good nor is stringing 4
overpowered moves together good either. Beyond help and
beyond reasoning. People have been
asking me (off screen) to ignore them BUT by ignoring
them, the BS levels get too high to work in. So
much BS right now... On stages, the reason why it
doesn't
work right with MCM and does with
SPRMAKER is because the people loading the sprites in
with sprmaker are using the shared palette
option and don't even realize it. The same palfx
problems
happen on helpers with their own palettes as
well as explods that use their own palettes. Definitely
MCM? Not hardly. Idiots, yes. People believing
idiots, yes. MCM, no. Then the "sigsev" error messages.
MANY I have found out later are from XP
and not really a result of MUGEN itself. Also known as
the Allegro error as well. So much [blank] on
this. It IS NOT caused by error messages in debug mode!
I could go on for weeks on this but why
bother anymore. MUGEN people are idiots and believe in
only politics. "If I like someone they are
always right and if I don't like someone..." Such
[blank]'ing [blank] (notice not [blank] anymore, people
are just to [blankin] idiotic anymore to insert an i
for
the *). My [censored] person theory was proven
but that
is not the big problem anyway. The big problem is
Sorrowedge,
Shadow Watcher, Yohko, and
most of
all Kogason. Unless they disappear (not hide but stop
supplying the thieves and copiers with stuff),
nothing will change. I'm sick of fighting with idiots
and [blank] artists. Let it [blank]'ing die [blank]it!
[Blank] the
[blank] MUGEN community and all the lying [blank]
[blank]!
I don't hate [censored] people
but [blank] you [blank]
[censored] ([censored] too [blanks]). [Blanking] no
talent
thieving bigots (the
[censored]). Also, it is very idiotic to try
and solve a tertiary argument using binary
coding. Case in point
is the use of ifelse
proposed by Dumboy (Sunboy). The real argument is
tertiary
ie >0, =0, <0 but ifelse
is binary as in:
ifelse (what to check, true value , false value). The
coding already in place for the move is
correct.
Sunboy's [blank] was totally useless and not an
optimization
but totally [blanked] up the move.
Without
the velset = 0 parts (x and y) the tracker will
"wobble"
back and forth instead of go in a straight
line and
look very ugly. The velset = 0 part stabilizes the
values.
Well, it is now decided. All my stuff from now on
will
go unupdated. Since so many wish to say they
are superior let THEM update it. I'll just leave the
site up and stuff as it is and let the retards try and fix
the stuff with all their "brilliant" knowledge. Hey,
why should I bother anymore? It isn't a case of I
can't do it because I have time and again. It is a case
of I'm tired of others saying I can't do it so
THEY can now get off their lazy dumb [blanks] and do it
for once. Playing with [blanked] up not working
[blank] might help straighten people up a bit. Doesn't
matter
anyway because I'm through with the [blank].
YOU tell ME what the [blank] is this time. I'm all
through
talking about it. It's done. YOU lost
another... Remember also that "do what you want" as it
says on my design page. And also, I can not
be talked out of this so don't EVEN TRY IT. Once my
mind
is made up it is OVER WITH. Either you
guys learn to do [blank] yourselves or suffer the
consequences. [Blank] copy/pasting thieves! It also isn't
like
I won't update for myself but you just won't see the
results anymore. Why? Because the ideas keep
getting ripped off by a bunch of [blanks] who are
trying
to say they are better than the ones they
STEAL from. Go find another patsy [blanks]. After stuff
starts being totally stupid and not working
well you MAY realize but it is already TOO LATE. The
rest of us will just sit back and laugh at your
messing up and move on to other things. Me, I'll be
going on to Empire Earth (not publicly but really
MUGEN has become a big waste of time for me). About
time
I finally finished the campaign games
(only up to the beginning of the "Black Prince" part
of the English campaign). I mean I have a huge
collection of stuff to play with click
here to see so it is actually doing me a
favor
by not giving a [blank]
anymore PERIOD. Let it exist without me again only this
time permanently. I don't care about anyone
saying whether I am good or NOT BUT I do not like
people
who use stuff I have developed to try and
appear superior over others. My only choice is to take
it away. Let the "superiors" actually do
something besides run their mouths. Just think as well
that I only released roughly 5% of what I came
up with. Ahem. I am not in the rat race however so go
hack some cheese to try and make yourselves
feel better! I refuse to give a bunch of jerks an edge
over others without them actually doing the work.
Armor mode doesn't work properly? Tough! Can't get it
to run right? Haha! Hangs up? Figures,
consider its source. All the stuff is the same? What
do you expect? Enjoy your boredom and lack
of people. You created your own messes so sleep in it.
Side note as well, I'm a Business Administration
(AS)
from college not a computer programmer. Back
when I went to college in 1984-1985, there wasn't much
computer stuff available The sytem in use at
my college was an old Commodore Vic-20. Wow! (sarcasm)
My coding techniques I learned from
having a TRS-80 Color Computer and having to invent my
own fun or make my own programs. You
tend to learn if you really want to bad enough. If I
didn't learn then I couldn't do much. Now, same to
you. Either sink or swim on your own from now on.
Note to Cadicle: You need to use velset = 0,0 in
your
statedefs so that the
character doesn't keep
sliding around from different moves. That should be an
automatic. You also need to use the type
= A,
movetype = A, physics
= S part for the statedef of
attacks
that take place in the air or use the type
= S,
movetype = A, physics
= S but have a state like so:
[State ...]
type = statetypeset
trigger1 = Pos Y < 0 ;negative value
means
in the air
value = A
And copy those into your ground states that you want
to
interrupt your air moves. AND I jumped you
about the "ratings" not because of the values but
because
you don't know jack [blank] about DBZ or DBZ
characters. Frankly, with Cyanide using the AI [blank]
on
Gotenks, a 6 rating is adequate. Anything
higher isn't deserved. If he yanks that AI out though
it would be an 8 or 9. As far as your Balrog
(M.Bison really aka the boxer). He gets a 2. WAY too
overpowered and no real moves to speak of.
Any character that wins a match in 4 or less moves
automatically
gets a 2 and BOOTED off my comp.
Please make something useful and not CHEAP! No dizzy
states (birds, bells, skulls) and other stuff
that makes Capcom Capcom. Needs a lot of work yet.
Think
BALANCE not "have to win all the time
no matter what". If he had some moves I might adjust
damage values a bit but why bother. There's a
better one already made. I quit helping others though
so figure it out yourself. Not like you missed any
knowledge anyway, is it? I mean myself, VK, and others
were the idiots and you guys are SO SMART.
PROVE IT!
Speaking above of "having to win all the time", I
got
an answer to that quite a while back. Seems
a bunch of [censored] (not black people) go around
their
school and sell stuff to others. THEY also
set up "tournaments" where whoever "wins" gets "the
prize"
(usually money). This is why the
emphasis on win, win, win and "cheapness" in THEIR
stuff
(and others as well). To get "the
prize" they have to WIN. Hence all the [blank] cheap
[blank]
released that is WAY overpowered and
using CHEAP[BLANKED] damage reduction coding
(GetHitVar(damage)
as taken from SOMEONE'S
STUFF *AHEM*, name the someone {try _____SSM2 and/or
DarkMasterS}).
DBZ characters without fireballs! How [blank] stupid
can
you get? Well, you keep trying to answer the
"how stupid" question by getting more idiotic each
time.
If you want to make Ryus then make them.
Ryu [BLANKS] as a DBZ character. He is a panty waste.
The
only way he can compete is if you mess
up DBZ stuff SO BAD that he may actually stand a
chance.
DBZ uses a much more sophisticated
method of gameplay than Capcom. VK did make some good
Capcom characters. You guys haven't
yet. VK's were balanced and yours are cheap and poorly
designed. And why is ZGTeam the [blanking]
Capcom center anyway? Are Capcom people that [blank]
dumb?
Or is the management of ZGTeam so
idiotic that they just can't tell the difference
between
Capcom and DBZ? Or both? Already been
answered, have fun (hahahaha). PS, just banned from
there
RECENTLY (7/16/2002). (sarcasm)
I'm so heartbroken(/sarcasm). And more idiocy, a guy
there is harping on why english people
don't pronounce stuff like the japanese do. It may seem
[blanking] idiotic but really I guess he
can't figure out that we are english and NOT japanese.
I mean Saiya-jin IS saiyan when
translated to english. Think about this, what the
[blank], [blank] dumb [blanked] americans are
america-jins as well as saiyans are saiya-jins. Dumb
[blanked] english people. Now, correct me if
I'm [blanking] wrong but isn't it american and saiyan
in
ENGLISH? Why the [blank] should an
english speaking person use saiya-jin and america-jin
and not saiyan or american? Dumb [blanks].
The Funimation translations are more accurate than the
horse[blank] that [blanking] AnimeLabs tried
to pass off as an "english" translation. They can't
translate
for [blank] really compared to Funimation.
I mean someone spits and the screen translates them as
saying "[blank]" and another time
Vegeta just grunts to power up and the screen displays
the words "[blank]". How [blanked] up
can you get? They ADDED that [blanked] [blank]. Outside
Perfect
Cell saying "[blank]-a me,
[blank]-a me..."
at one time and the word [blank] (and you can actually
hear [blank] when spoken in
japanese the
same as Cell's [Blank] me). There was very little
cursing
in DBZ to be honest. AnimeLabs
even
admitted that they added most of the "language" into
DBZ to "liven the dialogue up a bit" and
MOST of the cursing just didn't ever exist.
Another note: About Mugen[Blank]Off (MugenSex
idiocy). Ever
notice the topics that get linked to or
saved there are topics that get closed and/or deleted?
There were and are many topics that they
don't want you to see. For a while I asked some serious
questions about their behaviors and bad
attitudes and they didn't like that. None of those
topics
got linked to for good reason. THE ONLY
WAY THEY CAN "WIN" IS IF THEY OR THEIR BUDDIES CLOSE
AND LOCK THE
TOPICS OR BAN PEOPLE SO THAT THOSE ACCUSED CAN NOT
RESPOND
TO THEIR
LIES!!!!! Dead Panda Guy/ShoShingo (same retard) has
had only one topic that wasn't done
this way (the one from Mugen Tomb because the stupidity
by these guys was rampant so he
just plain deleted the topic all together and I don't
blame him). In that topic I accused Legato B/
KaWaIi.../... of giving his password to Sunboy. The
moron
is dumb enough to say "I didn't
give it away to Sunboy, I gave it away to Jared/Kirby".
So see, his password WASN'T stolen
and then he goes on for ever trying to say he didn't
say he gave away his password and never
said that his password was STOLEN. Lies, lies, lies...
(might as well mention his accusing
finger towards me as well that NOW he says he never did
as well. [Blanking blank blanked] liar. I mean
he passed around an email I sent him and said "I know
who did steal my password" insinuating
GohanSSM2 as the guilty party when it really isn't
[blanking]
stolen in the first place.)
Now for a funny quote from that topic (one of MANY)
and
this is from KaWaIi MaHoRoChAn :
(quote)
Now, the quick and dirty version of Why Warehouses
[Blank]-Sometimes, people download old
versions of characters, not knowing there's a newer one
because they got it from a warehouse that
usually doesn't even give the developer's nick, much
less their URL, then [blank] to the developer
about bugs in the character they fixed long ago.
(/quote)
Now, call me stupid but if a warehouse site doesn't
give
out the developer's name or where to
find them then how the [blank] are people able to get a
hold of the creator to [BLANK]. This is
sheer stupidity and the norm. This is pure nDo logic.
Instead of using the link to find the newer
version, the person uses it to complain to the creator.
This is totally dumb[blanked]. Reminds me
of all the Silent Storm arguments. "No, I never said
I worked for Sony or Capcom."
Sch4tten's (aka Sunboy's) "refute this" [blank] is
beyond
illogical and downright [blanking]
retarded. The topic WAS deleted from Dev so how can I
link to it? [Blanking] retard. I mean I
thought that was logical since topics were deleted to
cover [blank] up so why wouldn't Legato's
topics be deleted as well? But tell that [blank] to
those
who SAW those posts and got emails
from Legato (Skuld) trying to accuse me of being the
"thief". Come on Kitsune and others,
come forward... Figures you lying weasle [blanks].
And Ragnarok's idiocy is ridiculous (watch this):
(quote)
You know, it occurs to me that people (read: idiots)
seem to think the nDo involves anyone who
ever associated with the members and/or wears nDo
colours
is an actual member.
(/quote)
So by this logic, [censored] nor the [censored] have
ever existed. The [censored] wear hoods and such
to hide their identities but if you wear their
"uniform"
at a cross burning you must NOT be a
[censored] member. A person who wore a swastika and
praised
Hitler also was not a [censored]. This
is downright [blanking] idiotic in all honesty. YES,
anyone
who supports the nDo and "flys
their colors" and "supports their actions" IS AN nDo
MEMBER. Got that? I forgot
(read: nonidiots?). And yes I know they aren't
nonidiots
but they can't seem to understand
that yet. It won't ever sink in either EVEN AFTER
SEEING
HOW IDIOTIC ALL THIS
DUMB [BLANK] IS!
And then Ragnarok goes out to flame The Necromancer:
(quote)
On that note, since my original junk got mentioned, I
should like to point out why warehouses (I don't
differentiate between "good" and "bad" warehouses --
these so-called "good warehouses" aren't actual
warehouses) are so reviled by those of us who actually
care. They are reviled for the same reason
people despise someone ripping a few crappy sprites
then
running around demanding that every
programmer worth his salt do all the programming for
him, then slapping a "50% by Lamer407, 50%
by Actual_Programmer_2" label on the thing and shipping
it out. Not following me? The similarity
between both cases:
(/quote)
Broli was pretty much a rip off of Kuzu-bei's Broli
originally
and Necro got ALL the credit despite
doing hardly any work (someone else did the sprites
even
- see their name in the docs?). Most of the
ideas for the coding already existed and were just
"adapted".
But really 10% by Lamer Necro and 90%
by Kuzu-bei is a very kind estimate (not including
K3nShin
(AI) and DarkMasterS (AI)). Worship
Necro, worship him... I mean Necro even [blanked] up
some
moves because he didn't totally understand
the fly code at the time. (sorry but [blanked] doesn't
mean
the same as [blanked] so I have to spell it out
now). Follow me? Didn't think so (read above too and
the rest of their posts are just as bad).
But let's do a Kitsune now:
(quote)
Regarding MCM; all images used in stage SFFs can, and
should have independant (spelling, please?)
palettes. A lot of stages use more than 255 colors;
Capcom
is a prime example of this. SNES ones
rarely use more than 128.
(/quote)
WRONG, the palette error occurs even WITH sprmaker if
the palettes are not shared. The
background during a BGPalFX will not completely change
to the palfx UNLESS the palettes
are shared. Same as helpers that use ownpal = 1.
Elecbyte
even put it in the DOCS for
crying out loud. Hey, you say you retards know all so
go God [blanked] well find it yourselves
(may have only been in a version or two's docs, hahaha,
happy searching on WAREHOUSE
sites for the old versions). Either convert to a
universal
256 color palette or the bgpalfx will NOT
ever work properly regardless of MCM or SPRMAKER. Same
as palfx (not bgpalfx you ninnies
because they do different things) does not work
properly
on helpers that use their own
palettes.
Many of your stages do not work properly Kitsune and
thanks for saying you use SPRMAKER
to clear that up... And another note is ALL 16 bit
color
pics have the same exact palette. 256
color pics do NOT. The only stages using "more than 255
colors" are ones saved in 16 bit color
mode which MUGEN will soon not support supposedly. Of
course the snap was supposed
to be
removed in future versions but all of a sudden isn't
mentioned in the docs anymore. Not taken
out but also no notice anymore saying it will be taken
out either. 16 bit bogs down the engine
because 256 color pics use less space (16 bit = 900K,
256 = 90K, BIG difference). Will be a
concern for Elecbyte. Who knows maybe all will go 16
bit instead. Would mean HUGE file
sizes and the system memory requirements would become
HUGE as well. Many 64MB
system users would be out in the cold (and are now come
to think of it). The BGPalFX
will
work on all 16 bit palettes since all 16 bit palettes
share the exact same palette to begin with.
However, don't forget support may be taken out AND the
fact that MCM didn't do 16 bit
sprites. If you use 256 color sprites AND do not use
a shared palette the background WILL
NOT work properly with a BGPalFX. Soon all these 16 bit
BGs probably will NOT work
anyway. I am also NOT sure if 16 bit stages work
properly
with BGPalFX now anyway.
I do know that 16 bit stages use WAY more memory than
256 color stages and have WAY
larger file sizes.
And this also (same guy Kitsune Sniper):
(quote)
The MRev "organization" is a bunch of sites hosted in
the same server. Just like MGBR
(/quote)
NO, it is not the same. MgBr is a NEWS site. MRev just
has MRev stuff on it. BIG, HUGE
difference there. All MRev stuff is linked to by the
central site, MgBr sites are just listed down the side
with links to the individual sites without specific
links
to creations and such. You can access MRev's
main site and get all the stuff from there. Try to do
that at MgBr. MRev is a WAREHOUSE. LOOK
UP WAREHOUSE IN A DICTIONARY! A warehouse is a place
where many different things are
accessible at ONE place. There are warehouses for
computer
software, food stuffs, clothing... NOW
apply that to MUGEN sites. Can you DIRECTLY access many
different creations from one site at
MRev? Yes, you can! It is a [blanking] warehouse
[blank]it!
Buy a REAL [blanking] dictionary that costs
more than two [blanking] bucks or is free online
because
it is worthless elsewhere (or one that comes
free with your "pocket" organizer that fits inside a
[blanking] briefcase and not a pocket). Can you
access all the MgBr creations at one place? No, then
not a [blanking] warehouse because they don't
distribute product but provide news where to FIND
product
aka a real "news site". About
Mugen[blank]Off (MugenSex to MRev/nDo/whatever else
they'll
hide under next {probably if it
wasn't for the wrestler, they would be known as "the
Rocks" since that is what they crawl out
from being under}), That is in no way a "news site".
It is an attempt at humiliation but the person(s)
running it are so [blank]ed idiotic that they don't see
themselves as being the ones they actually
humiliate. I see it more as an idiotic comedy site
really.
They try to prove "how dumb" someone
else is but actually just show how stupid they are.
They
can't make a true "history" page like
this one because they would look idiotic so they try
pot shots. They make absurd accusations
and then post a link to stuff trying to mislead people
BEFORE they get to the destination.
Hitler and the [censored] use the same tactics as do
all lying salesmen (I used to work for Combined Life
insurance at one time so trust me on that or "I believe
this will interest you also" - your choice). It is
known as misleading advertising and Wang-D and a few
others have fallen for it and now pay the
price.
And remember kiddies, "A group of idiots all
agreeing
with each other are still idiots no matter
how much in agreement or how ever many agree about not
being idiots." - GohanSSM2
(Ace Downing). "It's true, it's true." - Kurt Angle.
[Next thing you know, they'll be trying to sell us a
dead
Norwegian Blue Parrot. Honest, he's
just pining for the fjords even with the nail in his
foot that keeps him from muscling out of
the bars while he's lying there lifeless and horizontal
on the cage bottom! He's only resting.
Beautiful plumage.]
A final note on this stuff as well (notice fine print). A couple
people
have asked me to please stop responding to their
idiocy. All I do is repeat the same stuff over and over (not change
story but REPEAT) and it is all on this page anyway.
I didn't realize that people had ACTUALLY read this page honestly
(except
a couple that asked for it). It is a bit long.
Also, "ramblers" by nature "ramble" to avoid confrontation with others.
VK is a rambler as well (only in small paragraph
form). "Problem solvers" tend to try and avoid confrontation with other
people's views so "we" ramble through different
ideas as an attempt to try and avoid any confrontation. The topic
mentioned
above happened because someone asked
for a few characters that were not available any more. A discussion
of "selfish pricks" came up and look who showed up
afterwards... Always the same old story and even I am sick of the
repitition.
Always the same [blank] too. #1 says,
"you're stupid" and then #2 says, "no, you're stupid" and so on...
The problem really is that they really are THAT STUPID.
They lack logic but hang out in numbers. People need to realize that
many disagreed with Copernicus, Galileo, DaVinci,
and so on but the world IS ROUND, the Earth DOES REVOLVE AROUND THE
SUN, and HELICOPTERS ARE
POSSIBLE AND DO FLY (AS DOES MAN NOW) despite what ALL scientists had
said at various times. MUGEN is
in the "Dark Ages" and it really shows. Trying to bring it out is
useless
until those who have "asserted authority" leave.
Bullying Copernicus, Galileo, and DaVinci didn't change the facts.
Bullying myself, VK, DarkMasterS and many others
HAS lead to the current Dark Ages however. When the enlightened ones
leave only darkness remains. MUGEN is VERY
dark and it shows. 500 extraneous lines of coding to fix a type = A
screw up in the statedef, "my armor code doesn't
work properly", "the opponent is stuck in the air after the throw"
and so on... Speaking of which, there is a "bug" in Goku
sb1 after he comes out of the Kaioken mode where he is stuck in the
air. I already fixed it on MY hard drive BUT since
they are such EXPERTS and I [blank] so bad THEY can now fix it for you
so that I can laugh at them some more and
also laugh at YOU who believe their {BLANK]! I should just let people
believe that the world is flat but have tried to
speak out against it. I guess I will now "shut up" since it has all
been said AND proven many times over. Have fun in the
dark [blanking] your girlfriend up the [blank] (or is it really your
boyfriend,
hard to tell with the lights off ain't it and he had
"breast implants"?). I know what I'm getting into (how's that for DUAL
meaning = darkness and not seeing what you are
getting into). I probably ought to try and convince Sés to leave
again as well but let him make up his own mind as I have
and VK and DarkMasterS and so on... We've all tried at some point to
"enlighten" people but only so much you can do
with mental midgets. Used to be hundreds of releases a month but now
it is down to what 20 - 30? And of those 20 - 30
maybe one might (might mind you) be "keepable" because Shacti, Zolagun,
or other "infidels" haven't quit yet to leave it to
the supposed enlightened ones. "We" have all came [blanked]
close
to totally leaving though at one time or another. Never
been too many true enlightened ones at any one time. There was ONE
time on Dev forum however when myself (as
Buuenstein) and another (as Mikase or whatever) worked over the Dev
forum help area. Then came the "plant" post by
the "nDo" crew where I backed them into a corner in a way. I had the
answer for o_O VIB O_o but kept playing
around seeing if anyone else "had the answer" ([blank] for "who came
up with the question and already has the
answer?") Turns out to be Maximilian Jenus (or is it Genus?). Plant
posts are so predictable and I put those guys
through the wringer on that one. I kept stalling and posting "chatter"
to prolong it and see who would show up as
well (like Sunboy, and so on). They found out that Mikase (or whatever)
was VK and that I was Buuenstein so they
played that little game and I saw through it. Someone with ip address
access tipped them off however because
they compared my ip with Buuenstein and knew about Mikase/VK. My guess
is Orochi Herman. I could ask but I
know (as you should by now) that I will never get a truthful answer.
Watch, Why do you use fake names all the
time? See... The truthful answer is "so I can be dishonest and get
away with something." THEY will not say that
BUT I DID!!!! Admitting they are dishonest is against their principle
which seems to be LIE, LIE, LIE. See how
that works... Constant circle... How do you get the truth from a group
of bound and determined LIARS? You
DON'T and never will. I have the information though and THEY DON'T.
I'm just keeping it to myself from now
on... (hint, coding page never gets finished or updated...)
32. Goten [sb3] - not started
33. Cell Junior [sb2] - not started
Order subject to change...
[Baah baah *snap* *crackle, crackle* *zzzzzzzttt*
"bloody
sheep"]
31 64/64. I quit this [blank]! This was going to be
added
to my main page but I felt it more
appropriate to put it here (but in the original
YELLOW).
All projects are cancelled and
will never be completed nor released by me. Also, Why
not finally get to some TRUE
history of my own...
32. The true 32. Fat Buu [PSX
UB22/27]. Started August 2002. Just playing around
for something different. After working with PSX, I changed a lot
of coding and such.
'Official' demo released on November 4, 2002 but most of the 'demo'
done in late
August / early September 2002. 'Official' release not until after
I came back
October 22, 2005. Why did I leave? Take a good look at this
page and how bad it had
been getting. Really why did I stay as long as I did. Let
it die off then come back and
'build' what should have been, not what was. It was time to
leave. Things were just too
messed up and not my doing. Let others decide for themselves and
go from there. In
other words, give things time to settle out on their own without my
influence. Let the
community decide on its own. That is where I really still
stand. Only about three hours
at most 'finishing up' on Fat Buu in October 2005. All SNES /
Sega stuff updated, but
most are 'dropped' now to move on to PSX. Nothing really major or
'noteworthy' here.
Just gameplay changes from SNES to PSX.
33. Tien Shinhan [PSX UB22/27]. Released
November 28, 2005. Started
then got
banned from Guild forum for whatever. The Guild is a bad place
anyway, so best to
stay away
and let it go its own way. I am happy at MgBR because of the good
attitude
I have seen
there. Nice place with nice people so far. As far as Tien,
his 'Multi-Hand Slap'
move (D, DB, B, y) was pretty fun to do and play with. I took the
hit sparks out of that
move so that it could be seen. The hypermove is Tien's "split
form" attack so I will
probably include that since it is a character trademark. Yup, I
used explods to make a copy
of the multi-hand slap to do the split form. Pretty neat.
34. Android 18 "Kool Beams Babe" [PSX
UB22/27]. Released December 18, 2005. Long
boring argument with Messatsu at MgBR forum. Android 18 has 'Land
Energy Mine'
technology. But what can I say, I miss someone so since Android
18 kind of looks like
Mary Beth Sofia-French in Albuquerque, New Mexico, why not? So
dedicated to
Kool Beams Babe and Def Leppard's Hysteria Album and 1979 Chevy Monzas
and all
that other stuff that cool memories are made from but especially Mary
Beth that I miss
an awful lot anymore. Hey, I'm getting old and it shows. I
love this pic now...

35. Dabura22 [PSX UB22/27]. Released
January 12, 2006. Kind of a rush release because
I didn't really put too much in him. The sprites were a pain to
work on. Regular and
'extended' version like I did with Fat Buu (because of Medusa's Spit
move). Death Flame
was a 'little' different type move but not really noteworthy I feel.
36. Young Goku [PSX UB22/27]. Released
probably on January 24, 2006 (I'm writing this
on January 23rd and I had the character done except for collision boxes
and hit spark adjustments
since January 22nd). Has quite a bit in him including the 'cloud
coding' for flying plus the
Were Ape Transformation, Rock / Paper / Scissors, Eight Handed Strike
(off screen attack),
and a redone version of Tien's Split Form Attack. Really fun to
do and done based on a
request from Zir on the MgBR forum. Hard to believe how quick he
came around
especially with the extra coding and such needed for him. I had
to recolor every sprite as
well because his clothes and the extend pole used the same
colors. Also, at this time, I resized
the old characters using MUGEN's scaling feature and they look all
grainy and such that way.
But I got thinking afterwards that the UB22 game doesn't have Normal
Cell, Bojack, Brolli,
Zangya, and such in it so it may be something 'extra' to think about
down the road. Also note,
I updated to v10.10 this time around and the 'new' versions were
because Young Goku has
a 'lose' ending that I did where he turns into Oolong (as a joke to
kind of say that since the
character can't play against themselves that Oolong, the pig, must have
been the real 'loser').
Pretty funny and pretty cool so I did that concept and plan on doing it
in all the PSX UB22/27
characters from now on.
37. Goten [PSX UB22/27].
Hey, who stole my needle from my record player.
Well,
maybe next time but
it was a truly lovely performance with... Oh right, the
pictures from the past...]

Why the pics? Why not? Anyway if you noticed that there are 2 of
some
pics then great because there are.
ReACtOrZ made the XMen bgs not too long after starting WoM and to help
promote them a little I started
using them as WiP backgrounds. I referred to the one as Tree of Might
(Li'l Gohan and Hyper Buu woodsy
type pic), and another as City Streets [Android Mayhem] (Majin Buu
Android 20 pic), and another as
Dr. Gero's Lab (Android 18 Li'l Gohan brown pic), and the other just
as Factory
(Hyper Buu Complete Cell pic). Of course there was also Kame House,
Recovery Chamber, and
Capsule Corp. He did Dark Mountain and an Unreal stage also but that
was after going to the AniGiF
character page format. (Note: also notice the messed up sprite stuff.
Oh well, you can't undo the past only
grow and build on it :) Who is that in those last 2 mini pics? Well,
guess. OK the first mini pic is me at
roughly 35 and the next mini pic is me at 18. Big difference huh? I
used to use those pics on the
message boards long, long ago...Oh yeah and use their not thier. Their
is spelled like weird. I got a kick out of
spelling thier and watching others do the same. I'm wondering if it
might be an american/british thing though?
And YES, I do put some things up to see who is paying attention but
I tried NOT to do it on this page.
This page is more for knowledge on your part not for me trying to see
what you may (or may not) know.
And that last pic is of my 1979 Chevy Monza that I chromed the wheels
on. Midnight Metallic Blue and
CHROME. I got rid of the car in 1988. Also had Dark Blue Playboy seat
covers on the two front bucket
seats, 125 Watt Amplifier and 4 Speakers (2 front, 2 "box-type" mounted
in the back.). Shiny!!!!
And since I'm on pics now check out these two rips:

The pic on the left is from ZSNES and the one on the right is from
the
DOS version game. Yup, it's
definitely the game and not the emulator. DBZ is ripped from ZSNES
as well... Genecyst also has
parts where ASCII graphics show up and seems a bit 'grainier' than
the original as well. I didn't
include Genecyst photos though. Not really necessary when you see ***
show
up on the screen
during a game as part of the sky. Please, buy
the originals and see... Emulation is just that most of
the time... Emulated and not THE ORIGINAL.
But Chun-Li from Street Fighter II was actually a
WiP of mine just after the release of Android 16 but I never worked
much on it nor finished it. I got
too bored honestly with it. About a month later I worked on
editing some sprites for a 'Pretty Sammy'
Tenchi Muyo possible release using Gatlinger's Chibi Moon as a
base. I am not much of a spriter
though so I backed away from that. At this time as well I ripped
and prepared for possibly making
either the Revenant or the Arch Vile from Doom then thought well maybe
the Heretic or the three
Hexen players (Menelkir, Traductus, whatever) or possibly Korax even
from Hexen. I lost interest
so I put that stuff on CD and stored it away where it still sits
collecting dust. Oh well.
[So many characters in such a short amount of time... How do you do it?]
Well, first you get some batteries, then you prop your leg up like this, just ever so slightly...
Oh, that. I thought you meant er um, well, experience I guess.
It's still a bit silly me and you being here like that. Think I
ought
to get dressed now? [head nods.] Well, alright then.
I'll do that. Being a møøse sure is grand.
Final notes: First, my last year in Babe Ruth baseball (at age 15) I
had the nickname Moose. I got the name
because I used to run like Bullwinkle J. Moose in the Rocky &
Bullwinkle
Show. I figured siphoning off from
the Monty Python skits (and mainly the Holy Grail movie) was a good
shot. But this is also what I mean by
adapting not being the real deal. Most of this "humor" has been done
before... [Just not in this way].
Last quote: "The only thing you learn by copying from others is to
become
lazy and have low self esteem.
Try coding for yourself and eventually you will amaze yourself and
maybe others. It is usually better to try and
fail than to give up (except in the case of futility). There are some
with obstacles that can not be overcome
however so limits will always be reached." - GohanSSM2, February 24,
2002
Last comment:
MUGEN has died because creativity died in the community. Everyone is
so caught up in trying
to be 'the best' (by copying and 'adapting - aka another word for
STEALING')
that no one has any
knowledge other than who to copy from and how to adapt the copied
(stolen)
code to suit your needs.
The real coders never really bothered much with the community. I leave
now as well so you can go on
with the ruse of 'look what I did!!!' which really means I found this
obscure creator's code and 'adapted'
it to this character but will TAKE ALL THE CREDIT!!!! The MUGEN posting
community STINKS!!!
I regret nothing I have ever done or said good or bad. I should have
left much earlier but 'oh well'. I
don't belong in a community founded on cut and paste and 'stealing
glory'. The rest of you can have that.
It never was for me. I don't like it or being associated with it.
Taking
from others and then taking credit
is TERRIBLE. NOW I feel like a Rembrandt in the middle of a bunch of
Xerox copies. I shouldn't feel
this way and it is not good since the Xeroxers keep trying to pass
themselves off as 'originals' when they
are not. Those of you who are guilty know what you have done (and
really
don't seem to care or have a
conscience) and only a handful are NOT guilty. The ones who are not
know who you are as well.
Borrowing and using with permission are one thing (and acceptable).
Adapting and stealing from others
is another. I like those who try, not those who feel they have to
always
LIE. Which group are you in?
Are you a 'glory hound' or a 'true coder'? Be honest. I did many things
others said were 'impossible' at
the time. I feel I have the right to be ashamed of most of the
community
for YOUR actions. I don't want
to be associated with a bunch of adapting, copying, credit stealing
thieves. Obviously the rest of you do.
Have fun stealing from the unfortunate few who wander through MUGEN.
The TRUE history of who
did what in MUGEN is not really known. So much THEFT and so much LYING
and credit stealing
that I don't think ANYONE knows MUGEN's TRUE coding history. I do know
what I contributed
and MOST (not all) of what others did. I am not proud of the MUGEN
community at all nor am
I proud of ever being a member of it anymore. Back when I started in
july 2000 it was different
and many people were trying. Now it is all theft, copying, stealing,
and adapting it seems. YUCK!!!!!
You can have it. My reason for making my stuff 'public domain' was
because I knew when I started
that eventually (regardless of politics or anything else) I would be
leaving because of eye sight
problems. My eyes are about 20/70 now with +7.00 diopter lenses. In
other words BLURRY.
Eventually this stuff will probably be abandoned anyway because a blind
man can't exist in a
visual world such as MUGEN. That is why "do as you wish with it". I
existed on borrowed time
and when the time ends it ends. - GohanSSM2, February 24, 2002
NOTE: This last part takes away from the lighter side of this page,
I'm not sorry, and I feel this must be said...
- GohanSSM2, March 1, 2002
Note: For those of you who are non-english or very young take this
next
bit with a grain of salt. This "Last comment" is
meant for those that COULD do something but instead choose to copy
and steal because "everyone else does it". If you
fit in the category of "I know very little (if any) english" or I'm
in fourth grade and "what's a math variable" and "direct
object in a sentence, what's a direct object?", then coding is going
to be nearly impossible for you (let alone making any
"readable" docs). There are many who have been labeled as "thieves"
who are not. Probably 90% of the DBZ MUGEN
community doesn't speak english well. Most of the community has been
made up of brasilians, dutch (germans, hollanders,
et cetera), french, spanish, portuguese (although brasilians mainly
speak portuguese there are actually a few portuguese
out there from Portugal), japanese, taiwanese, chinese, mexican, french
canadian, argentinian, chilean, thai, cambodian,
hungarian, italian, (and probably many others as well, I just talked
to a pollish person recently). There are also australian,
new zealanders, americans, english canadians, british, scottish, irish,
(and probably many other english speaking people as
well). Pretty large and diverse community, huh? Now, to the bigots
of MUGEN, the DBZ MUGEN community is NOT
made up of little 10 year old "WHITE" american kids who see "DBZ on
toonami". Many who do not speak well AREN'T
LITTLE WHITE AMERICAN KIDS. I am sincerely hoping that after the
community
recently (think around january/march 2002) made "fools out of
themselves
yet again" by flaming Majin SSJ6 Goku because they thought he was a
"young
american WHITE kid" learned their lessons (I doubt it). Sad part is
that Majin SSJ6 Goku is a dark skinned MAN NOT a
young 10 year old WHITE kid. I AM VERY P!SSED OFF AT MANY PEOPLE. I
WAS P!SSED OFF AT MOST OF
THIS TRASH ANYWAY. I AM VERY SICK OF "BLACK AMERICAN TRASH" wrecking
it for the DBZ MUGEN
community (WHITE TRASH AS WELL). Anger comes through ignorance and
I AM TIRED OF DEALING WITH
RACIST IDIOTS!!!!!! I know the difference between stereotyping and
racism and MUGEN is plagued with BLACK
RACISTS WHO HATE WHITE PEOPLE AND MOST OF ALL THAT HONKY PROGRAM
DBZ!!!!!
(Did this get
you off the hook and do you start understanding NOW WILLOUGHBY
JACKSON!!!!!!
Your support base for your
crusades was a bunch of white hating "black people". Are you surprised
Willoughby? I wasn't surprised and TRIED TO
WARN YOU WITHOUT BRINGING IN RACISM. I couldn't because by saying THE
TRUTH you would have definitely
shut me out because you "don't like racism." and WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT
ANYWAY - and probably still don't. Racists
aren't bound by color either Willoughby... You should know as I do).
But let me elaborate here more to Willoughby [in
other words the humor is long over now... but I, GohanSSM2, am proud
of being a møøse and don't consider myself part
of this "human" debacle], think about these things... First, the Majin
SSJ6 Goku incident. You probably didn't see it at Dev
but it REALLY STOOD OUT. Before I got banned I remember jumping "into
the fray" to try to get a bunch of "known
black people" to stop it (using the posting name Buuenstein). Of course
they didn't but on another part of the board popped
up the usual "What race are you?" posts at these "lynchings". This
wasn't where the shocker came in however. Instead
ANOTHER different post shows up saying "Post a pic of yourself." and
it is this topic where Majin SSJ6 Goku puts up a pic
of an obviously "black man". Next, all these "I hate DBZ" type posts
start getting deleted, the "community" (the racist bigots
really) start saying how they NEVER flamed DBZ people, etc. Those that
remember this stuff will know what I am talking
about. There was the era BEFORE Majin SSJ6 Goku on the boards and now
the era AFTER Majin SSJ6 Goku. Before,
you used to see all kinds of "I hate DBZ..." type stuff littering the
landscape. After, it mostly all got deleted by GUILT. Before
you would see many coming around and adamantly FLAMING ANYONE AND
EVERYONE
WITH A DBZ NAME.
Now, it has disappeared. Before, it was "cool" to flame all DBZ people.
Now, NOPE. Those of you before will see this and
those of you after will not know what is up. The bigots FLAMED ONE
OF THEIR OWN!!!!! Now, they learned. Most of
the DBZ community makeup is listed above and from a large nationality
base like that I hope you see now that the DBZ
MUGEN community is NOT MADE UP OF LITTLE "WHITE" KIDS WHO CAN'T SPEAK
ENGLISH WELL, BUT
IS REALLY MADE UP OF MANY 20-30 YEAR OLDS WHO SPEAK OTHER
LANGUAGES!!!!!!
DBZ was
around LONG before Toonami came into existance in america and the
Cartoon
Network show DOESN'T REALLY
BRING IN "DBZ" PEOPLE INTO MUGEN. DBZ MUGEN is VERY popular in Brasil
and many brasilians speak
portuguese ONLY. And on a similar note, MugeNow was closed down because
cjb.net supposedly sent a bill to
EmuBoarding because they were going to charge EmuBoarding for all the
bandwidth the MugeNow site used.
EmuBoarding shut the site down afterwards (but this was from someone
who translated a news article that appeared
on MugenBR news site). EmuBoarding wasn't going to be able to afford
the price they offered (based on usage aka
bandwidth) so he had no real choice. The site didn't close down because
of "theft" or any of that nonsense. The site had
over 1000 visitors a day and that would be REALLY expensive on
cjb.net's
new pay plan. The MugeNow people really
didn't know "Willoughby's crusades" were even going on at the time
or what they were. On another note as well on this.
At one time I thought it was Silent Storm behind most of this, and
after Storm left most of the DBZ HATE topics started
to disappear for a short while (well, Kirby and Infiinma pretty much
don't like MOST stuff but it isn't really hate). Then it
started to resurface again (around late december 2000, Storm left early
november 2000). This time I saw the real culprit
behind it. SUNBOY!!!!! Sunboy existed BEFORE Storm did and I wonder
if he had some influence on Storm (Storm is
very easy to manipulate as far as "race related issues"). There was
also Deux and "D@rk Sun" and Shinta and Rumiko
and... (all listed except Deux and D@rk Sun(boy) are the same
person...).
It all makes sense now but "I'm a DBZ person"
and never looked at it from an outside prospective. I had a "black"
friend look through some stuff and he told me it was
"racism". He also said that most of his friends (he lives closeby and
is definitely american) do not like DBZ as well because
they see it as a "white kids" show and so it is not for "them". This
outside opinion really opened my eyes a bit and looking
back through many posts and seeing the history again I have really
noticed something. The "polarization" of the "black"
community by some force. The "DBZ is nothing but a bunch of STUPID
WHITE KIDS!!!!!" was the polarizing force and
it all points to SUNBOY and friends. Someone inside the group does
need to step forward though and BE HONEST
ABOUT IT. It could have started BEFORE Sunboy and Sunboy could be a
victim as well. SUNBOY IS the biggest
perpetrator of the "young white american boy" myth however. This is
also why Sunboy is always so "cranky" and looks
down at others. Sunboy is a racist. Almost everything Sunboy does is
either because he is a black person or because he
percieves "blackness" a certain way. The "trying to use" big words,
the "you stink", etc. are all lashing out because he feels
inferior because of his race. To Sunboy: It isn't your race makeup
you ninny! It is your F'ed up attitude that causes all your
problems... Instead of taking things in stride and "proving your
self-worth",
you try to put everyone else down. There is
a BIG difference between us Sunboy and NOW I'll try to explain some
REAL stuff to you. First, the person who
really helped me is "black" but also "native american" as well. When
we first met he said he was "indian" because I was
"definitely" indian looking (you know how that goes - something in
common, let's be friends...). That is stereotyping NOT
RACISM... Anyway, on with the rest here... When I was younger (grade
6) my teachers all had an argument about me
and there were 5 teachers. 2 were racist and didn't like teaching a
"savage" (and they did say SAVAGE) because he
"doesn't belong" 2 knew that I was smarter than the "supposed"
brainiacs
(and even the head brainiac conceded as well but
we were friends too but he came from the upper side of the tracks and
I came from the lower {my dad was a machinist not
a college professor in english} anyway... [Oh yeah and brainiac? Isn't
that a bit much too... Now we're intelligence
bashing...]) and the fifth (my math teacher) didn't like the fact that
I didn't do my homework. It upset my homeroom teacher
so much that she got a migraine and had to take several days off to
recover. My homeroom teacher also told me "on the
sly" what had happened. When I started the next grade (7th) I would
be in the lower track (track 2). She also filled me in
about what went on (it was talked about for quite a while as well
between
other teachers too). In the meeting, the two
racist teachers came right out and said "this kid doesn't belong here
because he is a 'savage' and I can't teach him". My
homeroom teacher was FURIOUS!!!! That was where her migraine came from.
The vote came in though and it was 3 to 2
that I be sent down to the lower track. There were 2 votes no, two
votes yes based on racism, and one vote yes based on
the fact I never did any homework in math class, so I got sent down
based on the fact I didn't do my homework in math
class... Another "savage" girl also recieved the same fate (her dad
was a teacher there). During her "trial" however the
bigots hid the racist comments and hid behind "she isn't doing the
work" <--which she was, but... It didn't really bother me
at all. The fact was that BOTH of us were gifted intellectually and
made the best of it. It was funny as well because most of
the time we used the same books as the "track 1's" but many times we
had 5 weeks of review because with our "giftedness"
added to the class, the class usually advanced much more rapidly
because
one of us would always be able to explain it in
"common" terms the others could understand. The track 1's usually only
had one or 2 weeks of review. Dumb savages
(hahaha). Neither of us EVER did anything out of spite or "to get back
at someone". We just did what we were able to
do and were ourselves not "savages" or any political crap, just people.
If someone didn't understand, it wasn't a case of
"you're stupid", but a case of "we need to teach better to reach them,
so if anyone's stupid it is US for not teaching or
explaining properly". Her and I were without a doubt THE SMARTEST but
were wallowing away in "a lesser place where
we belonged". It showed we DIDN'T belong there but it wasn't either
of our faults. We also have never actually talked to
each other either (even at the 10 year reunion). We were both smart
enough (but she did beat me in 7th grade math
class making her the smartest. Dang dyslexia, The question difference
between our scores was X + 1 = 2 And I put 3,
she put 1. I saw it as X = 1 + 2 so I missed it. I could think slightly
faster but she tended to be more accurate so she
wins the prize happily :) if smartest is really a prize - especially
for a girl? - [now it goes to sexism, and speaking of witch
or is that warlock?]) on our own to know to just make the best of the
situation and be ourselves. (note: read outside the
parentheses then inside. This is a side effect of giftedness, joining
two thoughts simultaneously in mid stream and
being able to carry on both thoughts simultaneously. Very confusing
to most which is why I learned to do the
parentheses bit to separate thoughts linked together but still
separate).
Later they tried to move her (not me) back into
track 1 in high school but..., well though really that time I believe
it may have been all homework, but you never know,
but the facts didn't point to any racism. This is why FACTS ARE
IMPORTANT.
False accusations can really hurt
others. I don't believe the girl knows what really went on in sixth
grade (she wasn't in my homeroom and my homeroom
teacher really took it hard too and quit the next year because of it).
I don't really want her to know either. On to the
next part, "a tomahawk toting savage in a computer world?". This is
stereotyping which is way different than racism. If you
think of a computer fix it wizard you think of a white person, an
oriental
person, even a black person, not a guy who would
look at home standing in front of a cigar store with a cup and cigars
in it and an indian headdress on top. (wait "native
american", wait "savage", etc.). Think about it. This is looksism NOT
RACISM. Looksism is a look of disbelief because
it just doesn't seem normal. Racism is DEEP HATRED AND NO TOLERANCE
or EVEN A CHANCE. There is a
BIG difference. Well, to shorten this down, my college choice was
"Business
Administration" - another "savage"
dominated frontier. Many of the "extra courses" I took were accounting
courses - an even MORE "savage" dominated
frontier. Needless to say I ran into more racism... I proved a teacher
wrong but only got "no credit" several times. The
thing I learned however is that a REAL racist doesn't really hide
behind
"being racist". Most racists are PROUD of their
racism (for those who remember many of the DBZ bashing topics... THEY
WERE PROUD OF BASHING "LITTLE 10
YEAR OLD 'WHITE' AMERICAN DUMB KIDS..." Remember? I mean the REAL truth
about it - read above about
community makeup of DBZ again. Most of the 'dumb kids' were 20
- 30 year old "foreigners" - another BASHING topic
later on...). Racists are proud of their knowledge. They KNOW that
savages are idiots, savages are inferior,
savages are ... (many of you probably know the drill by now just insert
your race or nationality [or the letters DBZ]
into the previous stuff {and add your own spin as well}). Racists
aren't
ones to hide unless they may get attacked or
arrested for it ([censored] hoods). The DBZ bashers didn't hide until
after the Majin SSJ6 Goku incident at Mugen Dev
forum. These jerks went around and wrecked boards trying to show how
"inferior" DBZ people are... (they were never
responsible for ANY closings however. NiteTek was closed down because
Lord Nite lacked financial funds to keep the
site going. World of Mugen closed down {and may reopen one day} because
razorgolem {not GohanSSM2} was going
to redesign the board to go with the new theme of his site - a link
site. The World of Mugen board seemed inappropriate
'topic wise' for a link site board so it got deleted. The DBZ bashing
cruds had nothing to really do with it AT ALL. The
boards were going to be deleted anyway (and it was known beforehand)
so why not? And YES I did post directly into
people's posts at the WoM board. The jerks asked for it because
numerous
times they posted MANY things and I
answered them ALL in a REALLY LONG post many times. The problem was
that the jackarses "didn't feel like reading
a long post" so the things I said (and other people as well) seemed
to get ignored. The posting in others' topics was
REVENGE on them for the BS of asking then "not bothering to read"
afterwards.
They DESERVED it and I GAVE IT
TO THEM. They refused to read about things they asked about "because
it was too long" so I shortened it up by
"posting directly in their posts" so they didn't have to "read a long
post". The post was short and RIGHT THERE where
they could SEE and READ IT!!! (which, of course, being that I
"violated"
their space, they couldn't be bothered
STILL and kept asking the same STUPID stuff I had explained to them
OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! <-- Good
reference is the 'I use it as an anti-theft deterrant' posts. It took
10 posts before it sunk in that I wasn't "kidding" about it
or making up stories "to cover my arse" and MANY STILL DON'T BELIEVE
IT despite I had mentioned it back on
the Dev forum back in october 2000 in my "I leave intentional bugs
in my characters" post I made while talking to The
Necromancer and Squallleonheart {notice the 'e' instead of hart like
in FF, Squall said it was because the hart had
already been taken by someone else...}.) I also posted it elsewhere
as well but that post sticks out because of the
"gameplay" that Squallleonheart later got me to look at. I had posted
it elsewhere as well and a couple asked "why leave
in bugs?" but I never responded to them back then (would have given
away the secrets). There's still other ways to find
a thief so finally I said "what the heck?" later on (AFTER NUMEROUS
STUPIDITY POSTS about how it "affected"
gameplay <-- which it never did). Think also that most of the REAL
thieves aren't DBZ people. How is a DBZ person
who DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH going to get permission? How is a DBZ person
going to code a character if they
"can't read the docs"? How are they going to make a readable doc when
they can't write? These aren't REAL thieves
but are people caught between a rock and a hard place with an idea
but an 'impenetrable' barrier to getting that idea out.
So they do what they feel they need to do to "share" their idea. They
release without permission. There are two other
camps that give MUGEN a bad name. These are the "I modified it so it
is MY code" camp and the MUGEN stuff is stolen
from other company's stuff anyway so why shouldn't I steal as well
(usually referred to as the 'Warez/Emu" camp). These
last 2 camps have had a couple DBZ people in them but are originally
rooted in the Capcom MUGEN genre. It spread
out from Capcom to elsewhere. I SAW IT SPREAD and hopefully others
can collaborate as well on this (I doubt it
though since Capcom is so F'ing sacred to many). RRRRRR made this
argument
originally (against VK) and RRRRR has
Dan and VK has Gouki. How did DBZ start this "Emu/Warez" camp stuff,
huh? True history shows otherwise. Many
Capcom characters contain TESTP coding but it was undocumented so MANY
figured it was logical that YOU DON'T
NEED TO INCLUDE REFERENCES. Later, DBZ caught the bug AFTER the release
of "Necro's Broli" which many
others had the MUGEN ME game from MugeNow which had the original
"kuzu-bei
Broli" inside. Many looked at the
docs and didn't see a list of "Necro did..., kuzu-bei did..." for the
moves and since Necro was so popular they figured
they had the go ahead to just use whoever's character and add stuff
to it "like Necro did". I have spent MANY, MANY
months trying to correct this but I can't. People now wish to just
take the easy road and use other people's stuff without
putting in much effort. This is not the group I try to defend. The
group I try to defend are the ones who have language
and/or math barriers and HAVE NO CHOICE. The ones who have the choice
have been choosing wrongly. Right now
VERY few people even know what a state controller is much less how
to create one and the method of how to use it.
Many only know "triggers" and "combos made with triggers" because they
only change the cmd file to change the key
presses on the moves. This is lazy and what has put the community in
a rut. Most of the community depends on a VERY
few to correct the copying mistakes of many. I was never a copier but
I could help detect bugs from my experience of
NOT COPYING. By doing it myself I found the problems and know what
causes which errors (or a group of that). It
comes from experience and 'sticking it out' and 'putting your shoulder
to the grindstone', not from copying other's coding.
Most in MUGEN now copy and can't help others. When I started in late
july 2000, almost everyone coded their own
stuff because it was "fun" and many enjoyed the challenge of finding
the answers. Most now in the MUGEN community
DEMAND the answers NOW and are looking to become 'famous' and
'well-liked'.
A complete reversal and very
saddening. I have always tried to encourage others to learn and to
try and not give in to the 'easy' way. I would have
missed a lot of fun and knowledge if I had taken the 'easy' way. Many
didn't speak english well or know about the
"supposed" TESTP released their coding to the general public and you
do not need to give any credit. (I say supposed
because I never really saw this post but have heard about it from MANY
others). DBZ isn't TESTP nor are VK or
RRRRRR DBZ people. How is DBZ responsible for this mess? Honestly?
Let's see some more "little 10 year old white
kid" lies shall we? Some bad black people didn't kill DBZ MUGEN. Some
bigots hurt the english speaking DBZ
community (black or otherwise). Oh wait, I used the word 'black' to
describe another person so GohanSSM2 is a
RACIST!!!! FU2... Bigots... And now to really p!ss some people off.
Racist have no problem calling a [censored] a
[censored] et cetera... [insert DBZ as well, it's fun for the whole
famdamily]. Not all people who use these words are racist.
They may not know any better [or trying to make a point]. That's all
they may have heard and know (known as
'environment' or 'I ain't never knowed no savages, how'r am I supposin'
to knowed?'). It is best to give the benefit of the
doubt. Why? Because a true racist will show signs of hatred (unless
they may be seen as a 'bad person' without their [censored]
buds to back them up...) whereas someone who doesn't know any better
may "use the words" but is usually trying to be
nice. The latter group usually doesn't understand you don't like being
called a _____ because they figure you "already know
what you are". Those are different from the "no good _____s" that ARE
racist. It is the meaning behind the words NOT the
words themselves. Although there were some who just 'jumped on the
DBZ hate bandwagon', the start of it seems VERY
grounded in racism towards '10 year old white kids watching Toonami'.
This is what REALLY makes me SICK about the
MUGEN community. I've been through racism MANY times and I know its
smell very well. I also know how to distinguish
between someone who doesn't know any better and someone 'starting
stuff'.
There are NO nice words I can ever use to
describe Sunboy or Silent Storm because these two ARE RACIST. They
hide behind THEIR race and try to blame
EVERYONE else but "black folk" for their problems (no different than
a [censored] or the [censored] because both of those
organizations do the SAME thing. Because [censored] are white and
Sunboy
and Storm are black makes no
difference. Racism knows no race only hatred towards other based on
ethnicity <-- there's a big word for you Sunboy). I
don't hide behind a smoke screen of "Well, I'm native american [and
native møøse too!] and because of that I hate all white
people because of what happened to MY RACE." or "I'm native american
and we're seen as 'dumb savages' so why not?".
And the why not is because regardless of what race I am I still have
the same intelligence, the same thoughts, the same
perspectives... just the world sees a different coat of paint on the
house is all. But I was BORN with this coat of paint so it
must be MY COLOR. Why should I be ashamed of MYSELF or HIDE? I don't
try to spout off BIG WORDS to impress
others. Many times I avoid BIG WORDS because many don't understand
their meaning so the valid point becomes awash
'neath a flood of contemplation and bewilderment. I don't care if
someone
'sees me as a savage or redskin, etc.' because that
is only an obsevation and classification. If I'm a redskin and get
PO'ed every time someone says redskin; I'm pathetic
[especially if Gohan had a job at Planter's making 'redskin' peanuts
or if Sunboy had a job as a teacher writing on a
'blackboard'. Such open bigotry]. I AM A REDSKIN. SUNBOY IS A BLACK
MAN. Big freaking la di da... The problem
is that Sunboy has a hangup with being himself. He keeps trying to
pass himself off as something he ISN'T. Name changing,
gender changing, etc. . Sunboy is a mental MESS and very agitated
because
he 'doesn't fit in' with everyone... Only an IDIOT
tries to please EVERYONE by being something they aren't. Hence, as
I've said MANY MANY times, Sunboy is an idiot.
Not because he is black or because he isn't black (black/chinese) but
because he is not proud of who HE IS. Same as
Silent Storm and all his delusions of grandeur. Idiots... And then
the sheep... Another group of idiots trying to become
popular by agreeing or jumping on the "idiot express"... HAVE A NICE
HARDY CUP OF LOW SELF-ESTEEM, or
HOPE THE POST COUNT WAS REALLY WORTH YOUR STUPIDITY FACTOR INCREASING
DRAMATICALLY AND YOUR CONSCIENCE PLUMMETING, Geez... Post first, think
later... Hmmm...
Oh, and no racism in MUGEN? Think for a little bit here. Who and
what
groups usually get attacked. DBZ, Mortal
Kombat, Pokémon. ALL looked at as white shows or white games
by BLACK american people. There is tons of
JUNK released in Capcom all the time yet they get no flames. Someone
posts a DBZ, Pokémon, or Mortal Kombat post
and POOF! Instant flaming arseholes appear. Think about it honestly.
It isn't DBZ, Pokémon, Capcom, or Mortal Kombat
that is the real problem here. IT IS RACISM and a few suckers trying
to get in on fights when they have NO IDEA about
what is REALLY GOING ON. You are SHEEP but blind as well. The racism
problem came in a little bit before I did and
I knew the world that existed in MUGEN beforehand. Most used to get
along but some problems between individuals
did arise (RRRRRR vs. Visual Kreations aka VK) but it wasn't MOBS.
Mobs need a motivation to keep together.
As mobs came in to MUGEN, MUGEN started dying. I saw that. It wasn't
theft or any of that but this "mob
mentality" that reared its ugly head. The only way to deal with a mob
is to find the REAL cause of its creation and
attack it at that creation point. The problem is MOST people will not
be able to accept this as a "racial" problem
with "black" people being the cause attacking "whites" (Or more likely
those they feel are "white groups" or
"orientals", et cetera. Notice they try NEVER to attack "blacks" and
the Majin SSJ6 Goku incident shines as a
lasting example.). This jigsaw puzzle only fits one way. All the pieces
fit now. Praise of NeoGouki (before he
became "white" posting his pic and then HARDLY ANYONE posts his name
or gives him credit anymore), praise for
VK's Gouki, Praise for Sean, Praise for Storm (the character and "The
Silent One"), and so on... ALL the pieces FIT
PERFECTLY. No loose ends and no "hammering into place". It is ALL
THERE.
The "what race are you?" topics and so
on... IT IS ALL THERE! EVERYTHING! But it is a subject FEW will touch
but IT IS THERE! The community has sort
of turned into a "Black Panthers" headquarters. And with that 90% have
left... In order for the community to "get back on
track", Silent Storm, Sunboy, et cetera must be DEALT with and
"exposed"
for the racists they are. Without attacking
THEIR notion of racism, things will deteriorate even further yet. I
know what Sunboy's TRUE motivation is now and only
a group LARGER than his can get through. Of course my thoughts now
are "let it die". Why? Because the "copy"
community needs to die anyway. This is NOT the heart of MUGEN as I
said in the VERY BEGINNING of this page.
There is also guerrilla warfare but you need MANY people to attack
the key people for that to work. I don't think
MUGEN has that large of an intellectual base anymore. In order for
it to happen, the "blackism" needs to vanish
but NOT black people. Blackism is "the void" from which racism spreads
like a big, gigantic black hole devoid of
light or existance - aka HATRED (as the [censored] also practice
"blackism"
- the art of drawing others into
this deep, dark black hole of hatred and anger). The spread of HATRED
must stop and in order to stop that you must
stop the ones stirring the "blackism". In turn as the lower ones fall,
they will join to defeat the ones who "tricked" or
"recruited" them. AKA the domino theory - knock the big "key" over
and the rest fall into place. And the "key" is not
usually the leader but more "one of their trusted sidemen" who has
the ability to "squeal" on the "real" leader of it.
At one time Silent Storm was the leader and Sunboy was ONE of the
"sidekicks".
If you destroy the leader then
more likely one of the sidekicks will take his place. The sidekicks
need to crumble FIRST. I know from experience.
Something built from the top down needs to be destroyed from the ground
up. As the base erodes the top falls
down into the abyss created for it. And lastly on this subject. Why
idiot? Well, if a black person acts all "I'm the
greatest thing on Earth and my sh*t don't stink" they get called a
[censored]. If a white person is all "I'm the greatest thing on
Earth and my sh*t don't stink" they are a [censored]. As far as other
races it is usually pretty simple, if you see someone from
any race all "I'm the greatest on Earth and my sh*t don't stink" we
go "look at that idiot over there". Idiots know
no race. They are just plain IDIOTS regardless of being a [censored]
or just a plain idiot. Racism, I tell ya...
Thank God no one's ever done a Smurf character. They'd blow a freaking
gasket over it!!!
[I ain't never heard of møøsism. Be a
møøse!!!
Bloody humans!!! Always this "I got an opposable thumb and walk
upright" stuff. Big deal. Us møøses got it made. Even
the ëlks agree on that. Those rëïndëër can be
snobs though.
Hoisting their tails in the air like that. Don't join those
räïndérriérs,
and hïppøpøtämøøsës are just
wanna be cöpÿ cäts.]
Last note: To get the ø symbol: Hold down an alt key then
press
zero, then two, then four, then eight on the number
keypad (off to the right) and then release the alt key. See ø.
For reference:
0248 - ø
130 - é
129 - ü
132 - ä
135 - ç
137 - ë
139 - ï
148 - ö
152 - ÿ
Just play around with it... (or use Serif font in Windows' Character
Map and see the symbols there with the zero key
pressed first like 0248). I'm so stupid... Most of you MUGEN people
who believe that crap belong in the idiot
category as well. Well, maybe not idiot but definitely a fool... Fools
need idiots to follow same as sheep need
something to follow as well... (And if you notice, sheep usually follow
a BIG behind.)
