Griffin had been closely working
with Brutius Prime under his original name Lockdown, for several years
before the team got assigned to the Axalon. Although He did not always
agree with his controversial command's idea, he did feel that they were
making a difference. After awakening on Earth to find Brutius Prime
now calling himself Pegasus, Lockdown decided to follow the example of
rebirth and took the name Griffin. He is the strongest believer in
what Pegasus stands for and hopes that some day the society they are building
on the island will reach across the star and promote peace. Unlike
Pegasus though, Griffin finds it hard to believe that everyone is truly
peaceful deep down. He is suspicious of any one who seems too open
to the idea of blind faith in Pegasus. He knows his place and is
willing to do anything to protect the one person who he now sees as the
true hope in the universe.
