Here's what is done. I used only the major arcana for this- since that IS the class' topic afterall- but you could go back and do a second one using the minor arcana and see how it correlates. You could even do your own spread and see what comes up in comparison. Have fun with this and learn as you play.
I've got four 'theme' cards for the year:
1-Energy of the Year,
2-Environmental focus,
3-Conflicts-Solutions,
4-Material Results
I've pulled a card for these four, then I pulled a card for each month. Take a look at how the theme cards related to each month- find similarities, cues that may mean a strong emphasis of a certain issue for that month. Also, you all have cards that have significance to you- a birth month card, or some major card that you might find personally important...if you see that in the annual spread, you might look at this as an indication for progress or at least attention to those issues in the theme cards.
OK, here tis:
Theme Cards:
1-Energy of the Year-- THE FOOL
2- Environmental Focus-- THE EMPRESS
3- Conflicts-Solutions-- THE MAGICIAN
4- Material Results-- THE EMPEROR
ANNUAL CARDS for 1998:
January- THE WORLD
February- WHEEL OF FORTUNE
March- HERMIT
April- MOON
May- THE HIGH PRIESTESS
June- THE STAR
July- JUDGMENT
August- DEVIL
September- DEATH
October- TOWER
November- TEMPERANCE
December- THE SUN
Now it is your turn to make sense of these. If you don't do the whole spread, at least pick one month and analyze it- maybe your birthmonth, to at least gain some benefit from the exercise.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you all on your thoughts,
shadow
