Rodney
Grant is perhaps best known for the role of "Wind in his Hair" in the Oscar
wining film "Dances with Wolves" (Kevin Costner, Graham Greene, Tantoo
Cardinal). It's certainly the piece of work that drew everyone's attention,
however he is also noted for his work in "War Party", "Son of the Morning
Star" and "Geronimo an American Legend" to name a few. He was also one
of the principals in "Stolen Women Captured Hearts" which starred Michael
Greyeyes.
His nation is Omaha and he was raised in Nebraska,
the youngest of five children. His Grandparents were his and his siblings
primary caregivers. When he reached adulthood he joined the marines where
he spent six months with six years in the reserves following that. He is
the National Spokesman for the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
