Activities
In Wsb Martial Arts Academy, activities
will be carried out regularly by the senior instructors as a motivation to our
students to be physically healthy as well as mentally in the human
society. Activities are usually carried out during public or school holidays.
The academy organizes activities such as centralized training, holiday trips,
closed championships and many more.
Our
recent trip was to Port Dickson on December 2000 last year. It was a three day
trip and the trip was accompanied by Master Chew Teck Siong and our academy's
senior instructor and black belts. The main purpose of this trip is to form a
close bond of friendship among the black belts while enjoying the trip.
There was a centralized training carried out by Master Chew during the trip to
improve our black belt's knowledge in Tae Kwon Do. As a black belt, its is
crucial to have basic knowledge about the history and basics of the art.
Our academy also participate championships organized by different district for
the purpose of being active in the Tae Kwon Do community and to gain experience
during the championship. The academy also carry out its own closed championship
for the color and black belts.
The closed championship was organized by our senior instructor, Sir Alvin Weong and was helped by the black belts of the academy. The closed championship was carried out to improve the color belt's sparring skills and as well to improve the black belt's knowledge to be as an official in championships so that it would help them if they were to be an official in championships later.
