Here's a couple of nuggets! Some old Synchro movies in the vaults of the National Film Board of Canada: Sea Sprites (1961) and Aqua Rondo (1969). In another film with the catchy title of "Canada Communique No. 19" we get to see "the Mermaid Swimming Club give a demonstration of synchronized swimming in the University of Toronto's Hart House Pool" (dated 1945!). And wouldn't you know it, when I checked back recently there were two more fliks: Basic Skills "C" - In which "synchronized swimming techniques are demonstrated", and Eye Witness No. 27 - in which "Twenty girls of the Peterborough Ornamental Swimming Club give an exhibition of synchronized swimming" (1950)
