Southern Rockhole 1

The Southern Rockhole was a nice surprise after a hot walk across the plateau and then down a rocky descent. This rockhole is a horseshoe arrangement of very tall cliffs and it was too big to fit in a picture. Black stains mark the spot where the water falls but the adjoining cliffs are stained in reds and ochres and yellows. The pool water is a milky green and has an abundance of small fish.
