Mataranka Again

Back to Mataranka for the Sunday Chapel in the Bush and morning tea at the Stockyard Gallery (more paintings added to my collection). Back to the Territory Manor for the barra feeding and then a feed of barra, chips & salad (a Territory special). We visited the hot springs and Mataranka Homestead and went for a walk and a paddle at Bitter Springs. With not much of a Wet this year, reeds were choking Bitter Springs and there were pink and white water lilies along the edges so that the amazing blue colour of the water was not as obvious. There was a flock of vey sociable apostle birds (Struthidea cinerea) in the grounds of the Stockyard Gallery.
