Carlton

Carlton is an inner-city suburb of Melbourne. In Carlton you find Melbourne University and St Mary's College. We stayed at this college for CONASTA 54. Lygon Street is just around the corner and features many street cafes and restaurants. There are rows of Victorian-era terrace houses but they are built on wide tree-lined streets. The Museum Precinct is also in Carlton and houses the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne Museum and the IMAX Theatre.
