Kim.
Hello, I'm Kim. I've been involved with Witchcraft in Melbourne and here in the Sunshine Coast for over fifteen years. I have been initiated into various covens in Melbourne and Brisbane, and founded my own coven, the Sacred Cauldron, in 1999.
My journey has led me to Quenten and between the both of us, we have formed the Temple of the Sacred Spiral. Together we are involved in the many projects - teaching, rituals, children's coven, newsletter - of the Temple. We intend to be licensed as Pagan Marraige celebrants, and are developing an area, 'Mardingidur' (means 'Marraige Circle') for use at Pagan handfastings. In addition, there is my own personal journey with the Coven of 'The Temple of Isis'. And one day, the completion of our book, 'The Elements under the Southern Cross - a new metaphysical system for magickal work'. I dedicate my life to my career, spirituality and my partner, whose wisdom and knowledge I admire, and whose strength helps make my life the success it is!
Quenten.
Hi, I'm Quenten Walker. I have been openly involved in the Pagan Path since March 95, first as a solitary, then as a member of a group in Toowoomba, the Eclectic Solitary Pagans in D'Aguilar, and founder of the Temple of the Spiralled Web in March 1996. I am an Initiate of the Cauldron of Cerridwen, a Wiccan coven; third degree priest, and Seer in the Temple of Isis; and now Chancellor of the Temple of the Sacred Spiral along with six others (the most important to me being my partner and love, Kim.
I have participated in, and given workshops to, various Pagan conferences in NSW ACT, Queensland and South Australia, joined (for a while) the Church of All Worlds. I was the chief organiser and MC of Pagan98 held at Camp Warrawee 7-9 August 1998, with the international guests, Oberon Zell, and his partner, Morning Glory, and Isaac Bonewits, and his partner, Deborah Lipp.
My long held dream to found a Pagan Sanctuary in South-East Queensland became reality with the purchase on 23rd June, 1998 of a 50 acre property on the Stanley River with a delightful creek meandering through it - both river and creek are permanent. In addition it has 3 houses and 5 sheds and an old dairy, so enabling us to live on-site, and develop it as a Pagan Festival site and headquarters for the Temple of the Sacred Spiral. Its name is 'Imarbara', which means 'peacemakers' in the dialect of the Dingadau aboriginals who lived here.

We intend to run it on the lines of Circle Sanctuary in USA, only with free use of the land for Pagan rituals and conferences, and camping facilities, and basic accomadation for travelling pagans. We will turn the dairy into a 32 bed hostel, and the whole site into a festival ground, with Pagan2000 being the first festival to be run on it in Easter 2000. Any other ideas and/or help will be gratefully received. The Temple of the Sacred Spiral already hosts Sabbat celebrations there, and Full Moon Rites.
My Dad was an Anglican priest, and I became Catholic in 1978, till I found the Goddess finally in 1995 (not that She was missing - I had just lost Her!). And for kicks, I work as a cancer specialist in one of Brisbane's large hospitals.
Below are some pictures of us.
