Stutz
Blackhawk VI Coupé
Stutz, definitely one of the great names in the history of American cars.
This car combines the pre-war
myth with the unique design of Virgil M.Exner.
Exner, former chief-designer
for Chrysler, suggested, in the mid-60's, several designs for
"revival cars", among which
was one for Stutz and Duesenberg.
In 1966 a nephew of the Duesenberg
brothers tried to revive the marque, but failed.
So automobile enthusiasts had
to wait until 1969, when James D. O'Donnell founded the new Stutz.
In cooperation with Exner, they
created on the base of a Pontiac Grand Prix a coupe called Blackhawk.
This car, built in 1976, was
handcrafted in Torino, Italy where only the best materials
( for example, Connolly leather
) were used to finish it.
This unique car has incredibly
low mileage.
There are only 8,200 original
miles on the odometer!
Now you have the chance to be the new owner.
