The Turnberry Hotel
Set on the sight of Robert the Bruces castle, Turnberry Hotel
provides an excellent View across the Firth of Clyde at the Ailsa Craig and the Isle of
Arran. At night as you sit in the Restaurant or in your room watching the sun set
behind these islands, you could be mistaken for believing you are in Paradise. But it's
not just the view and the food that make this one of the Premier Resorts in the World.
Everything about the places emits a feeling of Quality from the excellent sporting
facilities (including 2 Golf courses, and a pitch and putt course, swimming pool, tennis courts,
squash courts and Gymnassium) and outdoor persuits such as Horse ridding and shooting.
The Mansfield Hotel
Garden Centre and family run hotel may sound like an odd mixture but Mr McAvoy seems to
have pulled it off. A friendly welcome greets you as you enter and stays throughout
your stay. Good traditional cooking is on the menu, and if thats not what your after
you can also buy some nice flowers.
