I have posted most of these dolls exclusively with Otaku World and they can be downloaded there only. I mean it. Please get a subscription because I can no longer e-mail any more dolls. My cheap-ass no-frills internet service comes through the university and tends to either shut down when I'm sending large files or take something like a half-hour just to send one doll. I have a hard enough time trying to send these suckers off to Otaku World. Grumble mutter grump. Free dolls for download here will be marked as such and I will be posting dolls both here and to Otaku World in the future. Some dolls will be available only here. Instead of deleting incomplete dolls I'm tired of or not happy with I'll also post them here as smaller sets so you can mock them at your leisure. You can do what you like with my dolls, even use them as templates, so long as you credit me. But please ask for permission before posting screenshots and actual dolls to other websites*. I'm reasonable. All you have to do is ask, but be patient since I don't check my e-mail very often. Ready-made templates for my earlier dolls are available here. All dolls require Direct KiSS 1.0.1, downloadable from Otaku World, but dolls #1--7 will work on older KiSS viewers. I haven't yet tried them on any of the other types of KiSS viewers and can't say they'd work at all in them. For all I know they're flammable. Yaaay, woooo! Note: You can safely ignore the really random dark-green links with the double underlines put up by Fortune City. They appear and disappear at random.

The first couple of dolls I made (and didn't post) are now thankfully lost
in the ether. These were inspired by
Emby Quinn's dolls,
except mine sucked seven kinds of ass. Despite that I dutifully sent
them off to Otaku World in 1998(?). The files were corrupted, Dov
couldn't do anything with them, I certainly had no idea what the hell was
the matter with them, and I finally deleted them from my hard
drive in a fit of pique. That pissant little hard drive eventually made its way into
a metalsmithing project so there's no chance those god-awful dolls will ever see the
light of day. I like to pretend those dolls didn't exist
but I just recently came across my rather obsessive handwritten notes (I didn't have a
printer at the time) and cringed for the better part of an hour. I
also found a rather nasty background I'd saved for some reason on a floppy
gathering dust in a drawer. Brrrr! I'm hoping the actual dolls aren't on a disk
stuffed under a sofa cushion or propping up a table leg somewhere. I'd
have to post them and that would be so very wrong. I'd be mocked much
worse than I am now.

KiSS #1:Lily
Evans. I've
been meaning to do more Harry Potter dolls since day one but Lily is as far
as I have gotten. I got very carried away with timers (too much stuff
flapping and bubbling and blinking!) plus there's no snap-to so she's hard
for me to play with. I still like her despite having the worst palette
ever since she's my first published doll. I just noticed that some of the
clothes don't line up. One day
(shaking fist in the air) I will make more Harry Potter dolls!!!
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #2: Theda.
Theda's base doll
was drawn straight from a 1920's nudie postcard. She's a lot chunkier than the dolls I normally draw
for some reason. She's really kind of a pudge. She was meant to be a vampy
early 1920's silent-film type along the lines of Theda Bara but I just
couldn't get the shading on her face right because I had a really retarded
palette with nasty fleshtones. Clothes are annoyingly flat but I still like her.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #3: Tragic Tess.
Tess
is a very very bad Goth poet (note: Fuchsia hates most poetry) with no sense
of humor. She has my 80's big hair
and a lot of my old clothes. I managed to hide all the menus under headstones but
for some reason left all the clothes floating in the air.
I still play with her on occasion, mostly because she's wearing my stuff and
I'd like it back. In set # 6 she's running around the cemetery in her socks
because I forgot to put her shoes on. Ehhh. Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS
#4: Rancid Rita.
Anarchy! Rita is a 1970's punk doll angrily made after
seeing all these preppy-punks popping up all over town. Ironed bondage
pants, pah! Rita is strictly a DIY old-school, filthy British punk
chick inspired by the kids on Sex Pistols documentaries.
No shading in the clothes whatsoever. Got freakishly obsessed with
making the bricks in the background. Yes, the bricks.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is
sooo much fun! Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #5: Erika the
80's Chick.
Criminy, 1980's fashion sucks some serious
ass. I still have nightmares
about this stuff because my mother tried to get me to wear it when I was
in high school. I wish I had a better palette because I don't feel
like I even got close to the true nastiness of 1980's colors. Rather bizarre,
half-assed shading on the clothes and Erika has man-hands. One day I
might re-do her, so watch out.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #6: Celeste.
Gothic Lolita-ish, maybe some industrial. I'm starting to think
she's more like some kid with too much money who spends it all at Hot Topic.
Feh. Celeste is the first time I ever used snap-to. Yay! She's also the most complicated doll I'd done up to that point with a snazzy
shirt-folding effect and some flowers that bloom, plus toys & stuff to
play with. I managed to hide all her clothes in closets and dressers
and such instead of having them eerily drifting in the air.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #7: Maybellene.
A 1950's doll named after the Chuck Berry song. Only has hair & makeup
effects since I was just mainly concentrating on the clothes. Some
are mine, some are from photographs. Maybellene's mostly just meant
to be pretty. Shading getting better but not consistant. She
should have had more clothes but I was working on her and Celeste at the
same time. Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #8: Bitsy.
Bitsy's my first 24-hour doll and kind of a throwaway. I was bored
and decided to do a tiny doll with really random clothes. She has a
wedding dress, a French maid's outfit, and even a skanky drunken
college co-ed on Spring Break get-up. (She'll do you for Mardi Gras beads!) I want
to do more teeny dolls since they're nice and fast and something to do in
between complicated dolls. Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #9: Miranda.
She was meant to be "Miserable Miranda," the best friend of Tragic Tess,
but I wound up turning her into a vintage clothes collector instead.
She's wearing quite a bit of my collection, but I only did 5 sets because
I was making her and Severina at the same time. I might have
actually learned how to shade at this point. I really like her
despite the fact that she sort of looks like Cher.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #10: Primrose.
Primrose is an 1880's bustle doll that was originally
meant to be a Victorian Goth. I wound up making Severina with the
same base and sort of dropped Primrose even though I was really happy with
the two outfits I had already drawn. I think I was really mainly
annoyed with her palette which worked much better on Melanie. I've
decided to post a small set of what I've got rather than deleting her.

KiSS #11: Severina.
I still wanted to make a modern Victorian Goth doll so
I mirrored Primrose's base and used a better palette. One of my
favorite dolls and I had entirely too much fun making all the clothes. Has a
little animated bat that
randomly flies around as well.
Named after the song by The Mission, but the lyrics have diddly-squat to
do with this doll.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #12: Fuchsia
1986. Yes, it's me nearly 20 years ago (sobs
hysterically) wearing clothes I barely remember since I wasn't in the most
"legal" state of mind back then. Some of these outfits I still
have and wear but I shouldn't. Not much
in the way of fancy coding but if you want to see an aging 1980's Deathrocker's nostalgia trip, go for it.
24-hour doll.
Opening screen has scary pic of me with giant hair and Cleopatra eyeliner.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |
KiSS #13: Regency
Doll. Still in progress. Early Regency
1805-1815. Very formal court clothing, ball gowns, visiting outfits,
etc. Some corset & clothing effects. Come on Fuchsia, you've
been slacking on this one long enough.
Coming Soon! |
KiSS #14: Melanie.
My first and LAST mirror doll (pounds head on desk). Serious pain in
my ass. Another one of those itty-bitty 24-hour dolls. The
clothes in this set are fun to mix & match but you wouldn't catch me dead in
a ditch wearing them, except for maybe those dorky fruit T-shirts. I
feel like she's only half-done so I might add some more clothes & send a
version
to Otaku World as a larger set. Lots of floral prints and such from
Snippets. Purposefully weird
palette. Download

KiSS #15: Inner
Sanctum. Some species of dive dance club
containing three very tiny dolls that don't do much, plus a
jackass DJ who doesn't do anything at all, much like a real DJ. The first time I've used templates (by Emby
Quinn and Sharm, found on
Snippets) and my first guy doll.
I was obsessed with this set for about a week then I dropped it like a hot
rock. I meant to do some uber-snazzy lighting effects but never got
to it. I suck. Download

KiSS #16: Lenore.
Slinky corset-wearing Gothic chick I've been
alternately working on for months and ignoring for more months than that.
I get lazy with coding so I have to do a massively complicated doll every so
often. Fancy clothing effects, scary hair, and random weird stuff.
Exclusive to Otaku World. |

#17: Itty-Bitty Pointless Nameless Doll. Base started
eons ago but was yet again dumped like a whiny boyfriend. Sort of meant to
be a 1940's-ish horror film vamp but she could easily turn into something
else by the time I get done with her. She could be a Prom Queen, an Olympic weight-lifter,
a fairy princess, or even a space
commando! Ehhhh.
Coming One Day...I Guess. |
