The Dreamlands Project
There is a third realm in between reality and the Unknown. A phantasmic dimension where humanity and the powers of darkness have been waging war since the beginning of time. The Third Realm is a place of infinite possibility and shocking truth. At the turn of the millennium a top secret research program known as The Dreamlands Project was opened to explore and catalogue this dangerous reality. The following is a summary of the history and results of the project.

A team of Envoys investigating an apparent haunting of a family in New York uncovered evidence of unexplained psychic activity. These attacks always occurred during the victim's sleep and were most violent during REM stage. The team first thought that some creature had been causing the disturbing dream states and manifestations but no Unkown force could be pinpointed as a reasonable source. Within two days the envoys began to experience similar psychic phenomena, falling into dark and chaotic nightmares as they slept. Eventually realizing that they were not only experiencing the same dreams but that they and the New York family were able to interact in the dreamstate in a conscious manner. The investigation eventually lead to the families eldest daughter who had been subconsciously drawing the others into what was determined to be a separate reality. As Patient Alpha she became the Projects first subject and direct resaerch lead to undiscovered powers that enabled her to transport herself and others into the Third Realm.
The Dreamlands Project has detected several New disciplines of the Art and the Way as well as modifications to some known powers. The Project has also established a catalogue of creatures that have been encountered in the Third Realm both Native and Unknown. We will bring you this information as soon as possible.
