DM Yo Bill ! Yo Bob!
Bob and Bill: Yo Dion
DM: Well folks we got an exciting new project. Arista want us to record a new Rock’n’roll album. I’m gonna be a star again, again - so I though we’d start of by throwing a few ideas round. Perhaps start off with a song about The King of the New York Streets
Bill : Sounds like a good idea - how about “He is the almighty he is the king of the NY streets”.
DM : Not quite bill, this is a secular album I was thinking more about the return of some teenage idol. Perhaps while Bill is thinking about that, Bob would like to try “Written on the Subway wall”
Bob : What a great title D . Something like “ Praise the Lord and all sinners be dammed , because its written on the subway wall”
DM: No No No ! This is not a gospel album.
Bob and Bill: But we always do gospel albums?
DM : Not this time - how about a song called “Tower of Love”
Bill : Out of the temple came a tower of love .
DM :no put that on one side perhaps we could try the title track - we can’t go wrong there - Yo Frankie.
Bob : Yeah I’ve already started that - its all about a fallen woman who is saved by the…..
DM : No God, No Religion, No Jesus - I just want pure and simple rock’n’roll - pullin’ girls, fast cars 3 chord songs . Got it?
Bill : No Almighty
DM:No
Bob: No tabernacles
DM : No no
Bob : great that solves one rhyming problem.
Bill: I think I’m finally there how about “ And the night stood still …
DM :yes yes go on
Bill:..when the 3 wise men came to town….”
DM: (on the phone to manager) Hi Zak have you managed to trace that Maresca fellow yet?
DM: No? OK keep on trying. Make it URGENT.
Bill: How about “ Yo Frankie she’s alright by me”
DM : At last!
Bob: and “street corner bands and hotdog stands”
DM : Allelulia .. praise the Lord we’re on our way!
