Producer : I’ve read the love seen, and find the goodnight kiss of his girlfriend on the doorstep a bit twee. Spotty 17 year olds in drive-ins expect more today. I think we ought to replace it with a seen where the group is attacked by a bunch of sex crazed , groupie punks, where they go down fighting.

Chief scribbler: I’ve got some reservations about putting the singers Rock’n’roll cruise on the SS Titanic 2 but I’ll see what I can fit in, as long as we retain the films integrity.

Producer: I feel its essential to keep the part where 2 companies are fighting for the singers contract. However it would have more visual effect if the singer in the Calumbia car is chased through the streets of San Francisco by the Lorrie car. Quinton tells me he will direct the 2 company confrontation seen on the dock front, where one set of execs. start shooting ,hacking and slashing the others. In the middle I expect the singer to burst into song," I wonder Why " might be appropriate?

Producer : While we’re talking of music, who signed up the 70’s super-group Abraham Martin and John?

Musical Consultant : Sorry boss that’s one of the main songs you’re talking about, which the research dept. tell me is about a lot of dead guys.

Producer : Shame that means we won’t be able to sign them up to play cameo’s then.

Producer : Hey that’s not bad , but I think we’ll have to do something about the backing track. Can we scrub those strings and give it a hip hop backing . Get some rapper in to beef up the middle OK?

Background : yeah ..too true… give it 90’s Bronx relevance.

Musical Consultant : Yes boss we’ve been working on the soundtrack and can definitely get sponsorship if the singer sings the MacBurger song and does the one for Nikey .. you know… Run-around Shoe.

Background : wow! What else.

Producer : I’m also a bit worried about the religious angle perhaps a little updating with his membership of the Heavens gate cult might spice it up a bit. If we want to get the line over about drugs it must be 2 spikes and not 1.

Musical Consultant : The singer thought he was getting all his hits on the soundtrack, too make a few bucks, buts he’s got realistic now and understands that 2 of his will be supported by Hermans Hermits hits etc.

Producer: Yeah what does he expect, he’s lucky to get a second chance, considering he lost his best money making opportunity when he missed that plane in 1959.

Legal Advisor: Have you considered the problem of product confusion with that other girl singer having the same name.

Background : Don’t be dictated to by some slip of a girl… Who doe she think she is?

Legal Advisor: Her mangers just appointed a group of big town lawyers to defend her interests.

Producer: I have no intention of backing down , but I’ve had miss-givings about whether the title has enough flair . I feel that " Bobby Dimucy – His True Story " would be more punchy and accurate. All we need now is Little Jimmy Osmond to sign up for the lead role.

Background: just right – when do we start shooting- .its something the singer ought to be proud of…
