    -Other information- Aided by uncle Peter, Allen Turner works to build the perfect aircraft after his parents were killed in a crash. This perfect craft is ultimately the "Wing," which Allen uses as Skyman!  The Wing is boomerang shaped and flies by the power of the Earth's magnetic poles. It can achieve speeds of 800 mph and hover, allowing Skyman to descend on a cable.

Later, the character donned a costume and began battling injustice as the Phantom Falcon. Later still, he adopted the civilian identity of Chet Horne, assistant to a big city police chief."
