Hello and welcome to the ninth war torn issue of All-Golden Comics!!! Here you'll get a monthly dose of Golden Age goodness!

*Important Announcement #1*

My second CD is now ready! It focuses on 3 major heroes of the Golden Age, Black Terror, Daredevil, and Doll Man. See my ad in this issue and my CD Page for details!

*Important Announcement #2*

This announcement, I'm sorry to say, is not a happy one. Next issue, All-Golden #10, will be this title's last. It's not because I'm tired of it, or not enough people care, it's because of time. I'm going to be starting collage this fall and I just don't feel I will have enough time to work on the book. To that end, Spotlight Comics will also end with #4. All-Amazing will continue to come out every month.

This does not mean that these books are gone for good however, I plan to do several special issues of All-Golden in print! (Yes, I said print!!!) When that happens, I'll be sure to let you know! Also, be sure to look for the first All-Golden Annual in two months (this will continue even if the book doesn't). If I ever get to the point where I feel I can return All-Golden to it's regular status, I will!

The Golden Years is at war this month! To that end, we've pulled out some of the Golden Age's best fighters, enjoy!

Enjoy!

Superman #233
"Superman Breaks Loose"
Writer- Denny O'Neil
Penciler- Curt Swan
Inker- Murphy Anderson
DC Comics
January, 1970

This issue marked a new begining for the Man of Steel. The results of the events in the book drained his powers somewhat, and got rid of Kryptonite. At least for a while. It was the start of a pretty interesting period for Superman, but, in may opinion anyway, began to become stale in the early-mid 80's.
