Steve,

I've read the latest A-A and have enjoyed it; I always enjoy Briefer's Frankenstein stories, and this one about Frankenstein's operation is one of the most entertaining I've read (out of six or seven). The Pyroman story is one of the shortest I've seen for that character, but tells a nice story with economy; the artwork is quite good and I like the way the panels are laid out. Twilight has one of the oddest looking costumes I've seen, looking more or less like a tan Wildcat but the mane or whatever it is on the headpiece is like nothing I've seen elsewhere, in the golden age or the present. Twilight's parrot is a rather annoying character, but no worse than Air Wave's parrot; over-all, the character isn't bad and the story has a few neat twists but I can see why Twilight has become obscure. I caught the Lt. Drake story when it was posted on ABPC, but didn't remember it until I came to page three; it was a filler piece then and it's a filler piece now, not bad of its sort but not exactly gripping or memorable. Three out of four good, or at least interesting, stories is not bad at all, so A-A #14 made for a pretty good issue. Have you received much feedback on it yet? With a Frankenstein story in the issue, I would think you would get some comment.

Just curious,
Jon

Just your letter Jon, oh, and the next one! Glad you enjoyed the issue.

Hi Steve,

Enjoyed your latest issue, Frankenstein's my favorite although Twilight's costume is most unusual.

On a personal note, I saw the Whipped cover credited to Terry Meiners
and did a double take. As a Louisville resident I'm very familiar with
Terry's radio show. I knew you were a fellow Kentuckian from coming across your Yahoo profile but figured you might be out in the state.

Keep up the great work, I look forward to your books (and Bill  Nolan's).

Best
Rod Beck

I see Twilight was a hit, if only for his unique costume. Well, good news! Twilight is coming to the pages of Pure Excitement Comics with issue 39 this month!! Be sure to tell Bill how you liked it!

I WANT to hear from you! Tell me what you liked/disliked, loved/hated about this issue! If you have a request I can't promise that I can grant it but I'll see what I can do. Just e-mail me at Steve_Rogers_Captain_America@yahoo.com thanks!

-Steve
