Leicester:

Director of rugby: Dean Richards
Coaches: John Wells and Pat Howard
Captain: Martin Johnson
Ground: Welford Road
Last season: 1st.

In:
Fereti Tuilagi (St Helens RL), Winston Stanley (British Columbia).
Out:
Will Greenwood (Harlequins), Craig Joiner (Edinburgh), Nnamdi Ezulike (London Irish), Neil Fletcher (Sale), Dave Lougheed (retired), Fritz van Heerden (retired), Stuart Potter (retired).

Winston Stanley
The Tigers are strong favourites to win their third successive Premiership title, largely because Dean Richard's team will once again be virtually unbeatable at home. However, there were signs last season that Leicester might struggle to contain more expansive teams away from Welford Road - heavy defeats at Saracens and Northampton a case in point.

The arrival of Tuilagi from Super League and Stanley from BC will help broaden their rugby horizons, which the Tigers have to do if they are to match the likes of Saracens and Northampton, and only a fool would completely rule Leicester out of the title race. It's a big challenge for Richards, perhaps too big.
