Harlequins had an awful season last year - under-achieving yet again and, alarmingly, hanging out to white-flag toward the end of the campaign and conceding 50 points in three of their last four games.

The subsequent clear out came as no great surprise, although the appointment of Richard Hill, who has been given responsibility of coaching Quins back to respectability, was not quite what the Quins faithful had in mind. Still, the return of crowd pleaser Keith Wood will help boost morale on and off the field, and with Aussie flanker David Wilson added to the pack and the impressive Mark Evans heading off-field affairs, Quins could turn out to be the surprise package of the season.
