St Mirren won
the First Division last season against all the odds. They started at 33-1,
but surprised everyone with there attacking style of play. A lot of the credit
goes to their brilliant manager Tom Hendrie.
Saints are
a big club with a great tradition, so it's good to see them back where they
belong. They must stick to their attacking football, as they don't necessarily
have the strength to play a physical game.

The main objective
for Hendrie will be to avoid relegation but it will be an uphill struggle.
The signing of Scott McKenzie from Falkirk, Ricky Gillies from Aberdeen,
Jamie McGowan from Motherwell and Jose Quitongo from Hearts, all on free
transfers, will help. The loss of Junior Mendes to Dunfermline for £25,000
will not.
