Rangers:

Last Season: 1st, 90pts
W28 D6 L2 F96 A26
Scottish Cup Winners

Stadium: Ibrox
Capacity: 50,500
Last league title: 2000
Manager: Dick Advocaat
In:
Bert Konterman (Feyenoord, £4.5m), Fernando Ricksen (AZ Alkmaar, £3.7m), Kenny Miller (Hibernian, £2m), Peter Lovenkrands (AB Copenhagen, £1.5m), Paul Reid (Carlisle, £200,000), Paul Ritchie (Bolton, free), Allan Johnston (Sunderland, free),
Out:
Jonatan Johansson (Charlton, £3.75m), Stale Stensaas (Rosenborg, undisclosed), Barry Nicholson (Dunfermline, undisclosed)

Bert Konterman
Rangers won the league last season by a mile - 21 points to be exact - but that hasn't stopped Dick Advocaat wanting to improve his team further. He has signed Bert Konterman, Paul Ritchie, Allan Johnston, Kenny Miller, Fernando Ricksen and Danish wonderkid Peter Lovenkrands. The squad now assembled at Ibrox oozes class and has Europe in mind rather than domestic honours.
Michael Mols

The return of Michael Mols is a huge bonus and he must be a good bet to finish top scorer this season considering he was topping the charts before his untimely injury. Mols is a special talent who suffered a knee injury in Rangers' last Champions' League game in Munich. He has been out for nine months. In Munich that night, had Mols completed the game, many believe Rangers would have gone through to the next round. Rangers certainly deserve more credit for their performances in the Champions' League last season. They were in the same section as Valencia (finalists), Bayern Munich (semi-finalists) and PSV Eindhoven (Dutch Champions).

Kenny Miller

Rangers are an absolute certainty to win the Scottish Premier League which is reflected in their odds. Outgoing transfer include Stale Stensaas to Rosenborg for an undisclosed fee, Jonatan Johansson to Charlton for £3.75m and Barry Nicholson to Dunfermline for an undisclosed fee. They won't be missed.
