Inline Skating
The Yasutoko
brothers - 16-year-old Eito and 14-year-old Takeshi - were looking to rewrite
the X-Games history books by becoming the first brothers to win medals in
the same event, and entered the vert ramp competition as hot favourites.
After already
triumphing in seven events this year - including the X-Trials and Gravity
Games - Holland's Sven Boekhorst was expected to trounce in the parkland
event, with his closest challenge coming from Utah's Jaren Grob.
The women's in-line competitors were spearheaded by Fabiola da Silva - looking
to regain the vert ramp gold from Ayumi Kawasaki, and also in medal contention
in the skatepark.
