C.O.I.P.S.  Information

In August, 1983, the Collectors of Illinois Pottery and Stoneware was formed as a club to unite collectors of pottery and stoneware made in Illinois and to facilitate their sharing information, ideas, interests and items for trade or sell.
The main even of the club is the annual convention held in October. The convention's many events include a business meeting, show/sale, displays, seminars, banquet and auction. An annual commemorative is also available for a reasonable price. Each year the commemorative is a limited production item and has grown in popularity with collectors.

The Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors is a non-profit organization for collectors of historical bottles and related collectible items. Our primary goal is educational as it relates to the history and manufacture of historical bottles and related artifacts.
Membership is open to any club, group, or organization that has an interest in bottles, flasks, jars, or related items.

Bottles & Extras is a 68-page, large format magazine that contains informative articles related to the collecting of all types of bottles, flasks, fruit jars, stoneware, advertising, and related collectibles. The Uhl Collectors Society is a non-for-profit organization open to anyone who is interested in Uhl pottery and/or stoneware. Membership to the Society entitles a person/family to receive a one-year subscription to the Uhl Collectors Society newsletter. Members also receive a membership card and the right to attend the annual Uhl Collectors Society Convention held in Jasper, Indiana, in June. The annual convention is "closed" to anyone but current members. The convention includes social time, a member’s only auction, special preview to the Uhl Show & Sale, and attendance during the business meeting as well as any extra events scheduled. Membership runs from January 1 to December 21. The cost of membership is $12.00 per family. Please fill in the blanks and mail it to the address below:

The Old Sleepy Eye Collectors' Club of America, Inc. was formed in 1976 and chartered as a nonprofit organization. It is based in Monmouth, Illinois, the home of Western Stoneware Co., the plant where Sleepy Eye pottery was produced. The club is dedicated to the collecting and preservation of items related to the Sleepy Eye Milling Co. of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Members come from throughout the United States.

The Red Wing Collectors Society, Inc. is an organization which promotes the collection of Red Wing and American pottery. Founded in 1977, the society has members in 48 states, Canada and England. Membership is open to all persons interested in collecting American pottery and stoneware.
The highlight of the Society year is the annual 3-day convention held the second full weekend in July in Red Wing, Minnesota. Education is a special component of the convention with a full day being devoted to seminars on Red Wing and U.S. pottery. Displays with educational motif are also set for viewing during the convention. Activities of the convention include a show and sale, auction, banquet, business meeting, and other special events.
A special commemorative piece is issued for each convention. These highly sought after pieces are made in a limited quantity and are available only to Society members.
The Red Wing Collectors Society also publishes a newsletter issued 6 times per year. Each issue contains feature articles, a section on state chapter activities, information on new finds in collecting and a place for ads.
State chapters of the Society have been organized in several states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Washington, and Wisconsin. These chapters meet several times throughout the year.

A subscription to the Newsletter--expect your first issue within 90 days of your application.
First-hand information on new finds and discoveries.
Gives you the opportunity to attend the national convention and take part in its many activities.
Attend state chapter meetings.
