Having been summoned by Freeza, Ginyu goes with his team members to Namek, already programming their ships for the next trip to Yerdrat. Upon arrival on Namek, the team does its silly dance before Freeza.
Ginyu asks for their mission : get Vegita and bring back the dragonballs.Having detected Gohan, Krilin and Vegita, the team sets an intercepting course and warps out. They stop the advance of the 3 fighters and obtain the remaining dragonballs due to sheer speed and timestop.Ginyu wants a fight with Vegita and leave the 2 shrimps for the winner of Jankenpo.
After some discustion, he gives Vegita for the winner and the shrimps for the loser. He will bring the balls to Freeza.
Freeza is very happy to get is dream revealed, but it seems he can't let the dragonballs work. Ginyu wants
to go out and knock the secret about the dragonballs out of the remaining Nameks, but Freeza will do this.
While waiting for Freeza's return he gets Jeece's report on the other team members' death.
He orders Jeece to dig and to bury the dragonballs, then they warp out to fight the 4 fighters .
Ginyu banters a while with Gokou, then steps aside to let the hero power up. He is stunned at the power, then decides to take
over Gokou's body. Upon return at Freeza's ship they find the dragonballs in the open and Ginyu hears the dragonballs don't
react at the earthlings summoning. Ginyu and Jeece fight Gohan, Krilin and Vegita, but Ginyu is
disappointed that he can't use the strength of is body. Jeece is easily killed bij Vegita and Ginyu tries to take over Vegita's body. His old body intercepts the blast and Ginyu re-integrates his own body .
His second try to get Vegita's body also fails and he finds himself in the body of a frog .
He doesn't get killed by Vegita, but eventually dies when the planet explodes. |
