1- Information and Computer Center:
- Number of section staff is 3 members.
Objectives and Activites:
This center was built in the 24 th of September in 1996 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Saad Mohamed El-Gantiry with the aim of establishing a data base system dealing with the institute goals.
After we succeeded to accomplish our main purpose. We updated the center services to a wider extent dealing with:
1- Building Data Base system dealing with different purposes.
2- Building a (LAN) local area net connected to many research departments (under construction).
3- Organizing computer courses to train new users to handle the operating system, office of graphics software and some scientific and statistical applications.
4- Providing the institute departments with technical support to solve some computer hardware problems.
5- Developing a private unit for computer services.
6- Supplying the institute departments with data and services of the Internet throw the net.
