What speed processor should I use? This depends on how you normally use your computer. If you use your computer for simple things like web browsing, word processing or other office type tasks, a 300-500MHz processor should do you good. On the other hand, If you use multiple windows at once, play 3D games, work with sound and/or video files then you would be better off with a 600-900MHz processor.
