BIOS
The BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is stored on a ROM (read only memory) chip on your mainboard. The program on this chip is used to start your computer when you turn the power on.
CAUTION: Before adjusting your BIOS settings, mark the current settings down. Some settings, if changed, may prevent your computer from booting!
