Here are just a few of the good kats that appear regularly:
CHANCE FURLONG (T-BONE):
T-Bone is the
leader of the two and is pilot of the Turbokat. He's a daredevil who always
loves danger and risky missions. As Chance, he's a normal friendly mechanic
who works with Jake and enjoys to watch cartoons (such as "Scardy Kat"),
but when there's a villain terrorizing Megakat City, he's is a real fighter
with that "macho attitude". He also goes ahead and flirts with the girls
when he's either Chance or T-Bone... he's a nice guy, and he'll always
be a true pilot.
JAKE CLAWSON (RAZOR):
Razor is, of course,
second in command. He's the co-pilot of the Turbokat and is known as the
"weapon's expert" (he operates the weapon controls while T-Bone pilots).
Razor is the one who designed most of the gadgets including the Glovatrix
(a weapon that he and T-Bone always carry around). Razor manly is best
in the digital technology, but when he's Jake, he's also a very good mechanic
(he did invent the Turbokat). Manly, he's a thinker and a real cool guy.
CALICO BRIGGS:
Callie is the
highly respected deputy mayor of Megakat City. She, like everyone else,
doesn't know exactly who the SWAT Kats really are, but she uses a secret
communicator to call the them when there's an emergency or danger in the
city. She really cares about the city & its residents and will always
be at an emergency site with the Katseye News team & the Enforcers
while Mayor Manx cowers behind his desk at City Hall or plays golf.
COMMANDER ULYSSES FERAL:
Commander
Feral is the leader of the Enforcers who desperately try to stop the villains
in Megakat City. Of course, the SWAT Kats always wind up doing his job
because his team obviously can't handle the super-villains. This is probably
why he's always angry at the SWAT Kats-- even after they save the city!
MAYOR MANX:
Ah, Mayor
Manx, leader of Megakat City. Even though he acts like a coward and plays
golf all the time, he's a very intelligent kat (he IS the mayor).
Manx is actually the opposite of Feral. He is rather, relieved when the
SWAT Kats save the city and is not mad at all.
LIEUTENANT FELINA FERAL:
She happens to be Commander Feral's niece. Felina Feral is also an Enforcer who is always around helping Megakat city in times of emergency with the rest of the Enforcer team.
ANN GORA & JONNY:
There's not too
much to say about these two normal kats. Ann is the
"Katseye News"
reporter who is always going around interviewing, and Jonny is her camera
kat who records the interviews.
LIEUTENANT COMMANDER STEELE:
This kat's an Enforcer too. He one of the top ranks along with Commander Feral and Lieutenant Feral. (Steele got to take Commander Feral's place briefly in "Enter the Madkat".)
PROFESSER HACKLE:
He's an older kat who works in the lab. Hackle usually creates robots to help around the city, however he was the one who gave Mac and Molly Mange their robotic bodies (Hackle had no idea that they were gangsters at the time). Well, he never indented on this "experiment" to become a disaster, so he's not a villian.
BURKE & MURRAY:
These two odd, mean-looking kats are Megakat City's sanitation workers. They clean up the city and bring old auto parts to Chance and Jake in the auto yard. Unfortunately, Burke and Murray dump the old scrap parts right in front of Chance and Jake's auto shop front door. However, this can't be considered a crime, so they're not villains... just mean sanitation workers.
Here are most of the villians:
DARK KAT:
Dark Kat is
probably the most powerful villian there is in Megakat City. He's a criminal
mastermind who's main goal is to take over the city and destroy law &
order. He carefully sets up his schemes and tries new approches to take
over the city with his little evil creatures called Creeplings.
THE PASTMASTER:
The
Pastmaster is an evil ancient sorcerer who plans to bring Megakat City
back to the dark ages by using a mysterious mystical clock that he always
carries around. This clock has the power to transport to the past &
the future and has been a big obstacle to the SWAT Kats when they are trying
to stop him.
DR. VIPER:
Dr. Viper
(who is half kat/snake) is an evil bio-chemist who is always experimenting
with dangerous chemicals. He lives in a swamp and also plans to turn Megakat
City into a giant swap so he and his mutations can live and rule. However,
his greatest obstacle is the SWAT Kats. He would've turned Megakat City
into Megaswamp City a long time ago if it wasn't for them!
MAD KAT:
This maniac
trickster use to be a lunatic named Lenny Ringtale, but was transforemd
into Mad Kat by an old magical kat-in-the-box. Now he's a very dangerous
villain who manly wants revenge for all those years in the asylum.
THE METALLIKATS:
Formally
known as Mac and Molly Mange, these two were transformed into robots by
Professer Hackle. Unfortuanatelly Hackle's "good" intentions never worked
out right and this experiment caused Mac and Molly to become nearly invincible.
Now these bionic gangsters' goal is revenge against civlization.
THE RED LYNX:
A famous pilot during the Megawar II days who was shot down in his plane
into the Megakat Bay during war. But does that mean he's dead? He survived
and is now back terrifying the city, but manly he wants to get revenge
on Mayor Manx. (Manx's ancestor "The Blue Manx" was actually the one who
shot him down.)
