If a belief IS a belief.. ON FAITH.. because IT CANNOT BE PROVED.. then what does it mean to say "FALSE BELIEF"???? ... now that is a very interesting question
Hocma- wisdom is Feminine
Shekhina... the Hebrew word for Divine Presence, is also feminine. Shekhina is the Hebrew word for God presence when it manifests in the Tabernacle
Hocma is Hebrew for Wisdom... and is also feminine in gender
I am an old parrot... whose cage has been in some interesting parlours...
I repeat what I have heard many times
These are not my words.
They are not my thoughts.
These words and thoughts have always been...
(someone comments that I am a plagiarist)
When you give footnotes... its not plagiarism
(I ask people in the chat room): Do you believe that Jesus is God... or only that Jesus is Son of God....?
Jesus explicitly states in the Gospels.. "No man takes my life.. it is given to me to lay down my life.. and it is given to me to take it up again"... these verses are very significant
Jesus was in all likelihood an ordained Rabbi.. He was giving the book of Isaiah to read in the Temple... they didnt do that for just anyone
the first Laying on of Hands was performed when Moses layed his hands on Joshua....
To this day, Orthodox Rabbis are ordained by the laying on of hands of two other Rabbis with a third present... just like the ordination of Greek Orthodox Bishops.
of course.. the interesting passage is where the man says to Jesus "Good Master.. what must I do to inherit Eternal Life?".. and Jesus replies "Why calles thou me GOOD, there is none good save God..." notice... Jesus doesn not say DO NOT CALL ME GOOD.. but only WHY do you call me good?... making an interesting IMPLICATION
BUT... Jesus says... in Gesthemene "Heavenly Father, all those whom thou has given to me,... make them One.. even as You and I are One"
and elsewhere Jesus says.. "No man hath seen the Father at any time... he who sees Me, sees the Father"
and elsewhere.. Jesus says "I was present, and saw satan fall from heaven like Lightening"... implying that He is Pre-Eternal Logos
There are many verses in the old and new testament which suggest that Faith is a Gift offered by God to some, not all,, in the Pre-Eternal foreknowledge of what those people would do .. if offered the gift of Faith... and only from Faith.. comes wisdom... so therefore.. converting others by logical arguments.. and reason... ignores the fact that Faith is a Gift
There is a verse in the old testament describing how King Solomon prayed for knoweledge and wisdom.. and because of Solomons faith.. God granted him such wisdom... that never before or since.. God said.. would there be a HUMAN as wise as SOLOMON....
and yet Jesus rebukes the crowds saying... "On the day of judgement the Queen of the South will rebuke you.. for she travelled to hear Solomon.. and behold.. a GREATHER THAN A SOLOMON is here..." so Jesus is saying.. in a way.. that he is THE-ANTHROPOS... (God-man)
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matt 16:17 Jesus says this to Peter when he says "Thou are Christ, son of the Living God"... again indicating that Faith is a gift from God
also.. Jesus says "No man cometh unto me, except the Father draw him"
and again the Prayer in Gesthemene... "Heavenly Father.. all those WHOM THOU HAS GIVEN TO ME... may they be ONE.. even as You and I are One
(Someone asks if Jesus was a Catholic)
Jesus couldnt have been too Catholic.. He didnt read the Epistles of Paul.
In Psalms.. Ye are gods and sons of the Most High
Yet Archangel Gabriel said the first Rosary (Hail Mary full of Grace.. the Lord is with thee.. BLESSED art thou among women and BLESSED is the fruit of thy womb (i.e. Jesus)... so there is an Angel apparently equating Mary's blessedness.. and mentioning it first.. before Jesus' blessedness.
You will all be amused to hear that as I just typed that sentence I am listening to my Roman Catholic wife..playing one of her Rosary tapes, the Five Joyful Mysteries.
(someone asks "Could any one here tell me why they believe in God?")
If one could tell you "why", it would NOT be "belief" and Faith would not be a Gift.
I preach a mean little sermon for a Hindu.
